Btw, I've noticed that the battery meter (the one that is displayed when the device is of and you hold Down and Fire) is quite consistent. So, as long as I remember the approximate difference shown between the battery slots I'll know if the batteries are balanced if not.

I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that.

It definitely has a film on it if you haven't removed it yet. It's a hard plastic film, and doesn't come up terribly easy. No point in putting a screen protector on top of a screen protector. I'd just leave it, or take the film off, then put the screen protector on.
I have checked very closely and there is/was no protector on this. I actually scratched the screen trying to find one. But no worries, it's protected now. The film I put on actually lays perfectly flush with the shell and kinda masks the scratches.

It took me 322 days of attempts and deciding each day that my vtc mini did not have a screen protector

Then on the 322nd day I thought I had damaged a corner of the screen picking at it

Kept going to try and mask the unsightly scratch I had created and boooom a screen protector started to lift

Well not quite, it took a number of attempts but they are there ;)

I appreciate you fellas persisting, but please rest assured I have looked at this thing seven ways to Sunday and probed around the edges for quite a while, but there was no protector on this screen. Seriously, I even used an extremely powerful scope used for inspecting hydraulic parts for scoring and there was nothing but screen there, now heavily scored by the seal pick I was using all around the edges. I researched a bit further too and was told that with the "stock" protector in place, the screen will be extremely close to flush with the face-plate, but mine was not. The screen on mine was recessed exactly the same thickness as the film I put on. If I had put protector on protector it would not be flush. Have a look at yours, you'll see.

But I did a crappy job installing the film so I will have another go at it later on when I close for the day. If there is a film there I have no problem eating crow. You will know about it. But you will forgive me if I try for a few less days. Maybe only 300.

Again I appreciate your zeal.

Oh, and I almost forgot. I stumbled on what appears to be a temp readout, either for the mod or the atty. I did it several times but can't seem to repeat it now. Anybody know about this? Are there any other hidden features that can be revealed by pushing the button x number of times?

I am not sure what it was set to when it arrived, but I can tell for sure that after updating to 1.08 it automatically goes to 200W. Good thing I didn't have proper batteries the night I upgraded to 1.08 as I updated it and then rushed outside, I took a hit and it was weird, not like it usually see. BAM 200W TC! It was on ~40W power mode before...

What's that thing you have on your wismec? It looks awesome. I was thinking about getting a cheapo gel case for it, but it looks horrible. With that I would have both paint protection AND not bad looks.

Can't wait to see that, especially since I have some issues with my Wismec so I'll propably take it apart and while on it it would be a good idea to also replace that pin. Please do post it here or at least post a link to a thread in which you do that.

While I'm happy with capabilities of the RX200 is definitely sucks balls at checking the batteries voltage, at least a particular unit that I got. I have 2 friends in school that also own the very same Wismec Reuleaux RX200 from the same shop that I bought mine.

I asked one of them to allow me to put my scavenged batteries into his RX200. Guess what? It showed the voltage perfectly fine! Each one of the batteries were within 3.7. None of the batteries was 3.6 or 3.8.

On my RX200 it's horrible. One battery was 3.3 another 4.0 another ~3.5. At first I thought it could be that RX 200 checks the batts under load, but it doesn't. It checks them under no load. I recently got HG2's, brand new. I have a slow double batteries charger so it took me two days to charge my HG2's. I just pulled them out, put them in my RX200 and guess what?

3.69
4.42
4.16
All of them are above 4.10 and below 4.18 as per my multimeter. Brand new, fully charged HG2's.
This is horrible. I'm wondering if I should return it under warranty or open it up myself, it's a sort of internal struggle as I just bought it and I bought Zephyrus V2 a few days later and it's marvellous, but for christ sake. Fully charged HG2's in my RX200 appear as about 60% charged. It gets even worse with those scavenged batteries. I'm unable to use it at all if one of them drops to 3.7. It shows up low battery and after a while it eventually doesn't start up at all unless I charge the batteries or swap them out.

Not to mention that usb charging sometimes actually cause batteries to discharge if I just leave it for one night plugged in. With a wall adapter capable of 2A@5V. This is seriously disturbing...

AFAIK my batteries would already blow from overcharge on 4.42... But that's obviously not the case.

It's a black carbon fiber jwrap. I love it.

Does anyone have a RX200 that has a wobbly battery cover panel? Mine moves around a tiny bit. Not a big deal, but just enough to bug me. Almost like it is a mm or two too small.

I watched a video of a loose battery cover...the solution was remove door, press top and bottom of mod ever so slightly to get a tight fit.

That would come in quite handy. I find that with the weight of this thing. The black finish tends to be a little slidy in the hand.

I'm new to the thread & I was just wondering... How's the temp control with SS vaping on the Reuleaux RX200 ? I mean does work properly in any1's opinion, while its in temp mode on the stainless steel setting ? Curious minds wanna know :pervy:
Worked fine for me using the Crown RBA and their included SS coil.
