... what if this was 10-20 years before we were born? not the style of music i listened to growing up even. only know a few songs from that era that would fit disco.
Good morning all! Going to cook a broccoli casserole this morning, we are having our Christmas Luncheon at work today. How do I always get roped into these things?

Good morning all. I am going to start the disco party early to get you all up and dancing. This is Donna Summer's MacArthur Park.
In 1978 or 1979 I came in second (with my dance partner) in a dance competition in a club on Union St. in San Francisco dancing disco to this song. Let's see. My dance partner was named Max and we would go help my cousin and her partner teach disco to the tourists at the Fisherman's Wharf Sheraton which was a part time job for her. My cousin and her partner won the contest. This was fun bringing back these memories. Geez, I was young back then. See, I did know how to have fun at one point. I loved to dance.

I wasn't born till 60's but I know Swing, Big Band and Do-op I know Leonard Bernstein, Rodgers and Hammerstein,George Gershwin etc...It's culture, American culture, Now go study up young man!

Happy days are here again! It is just one of many I love, I was officially a Disco girl I started going to clubs before I turned 18 cause I looked much older, I went every night of the week. There was always a club open in NY.
We are going to have an opera night, and an official Rock night, and more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ahhhhhhh now I know why I do not remember the disco era clearly, I had a teenage daughter at that time, I was too busy trying to live through it to remember it.

Disco was fun to dance to but it didn't take long before I got into punk; Echo and the Bunnymen, Souxsie, Martha and the Muffins, Chumbawamba, Ramones, Dead Kennedy's, Patti Smith, Nina Hagen, Lou Reed, The Residents ... <3
