Oh any new person that drops by and sees all the crazy, we still some of us smoke, some have been fortunate to quit, but we all love and respect each other and support each other. We wish each person success in the process and if not, we do not judge you. I am still a smoker, I might always be, but I have cut down to under a pack a day and that is success to me.
I was a 3-4 PAD smoker before, rarely without a cigarette and took them into the shower with me.
SO do not think we stopped talking about that. It is what keeps us together. We are family!

includes our brothers too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too funny Thaya you beat me to it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Didn't you see the smiley? I knew your intention, I was just explaining why I missed the disco era. I was participating in your fun a bit since I don't do the youtube thing. :)
I don't think anyone is offended at all.

Cluadia, I am pointing out that the disco era was amazingly fun, not that your experience with your daughter was or was not fun. And that your chronic panic disorder was fun. I am sure it was not fun. I love you and if you missed it that is sad, it was great. My mother loved it!

To everyone
The point of what I am doing is to bring up or little group, we have been down for far too long. It does not mean our problems go away, it's not like I had a miracle and all is great in my life, it just is meant to lighten the mood, I am hoping everyone gets involved just a bit and has fun.
If it isn't for you go ahead and ignore, nobody will be mad at you.

If anyone is offended, I am sorry, Many are letting me know they are enjoying this

Missed the smiley sorry, and I do love you, you are wonderful, I love that you are participating. It doesn't have to be with video, remember the clothes from the late 70's early 80"s???? Art? How did things change?

I think it's great! I appreciate you trying to breathe some life back into our thread. C'mon people! We used to be such a fun group. We can still talk about smoking/vaping, or anything else, but in-between let's have some fun! :toast:

Well people keep it up, I need to get dressed, going with my nephews girlfriend to get her a drivers license and to get his gift for Christmas, I'm letting her drive to the place, she gets to push the manual wheelchair all over. I get to go to the mall afterward! WOOT I haven't been to a mall for over a year and a half! I can't' buy anything, but I sure can look!

You should be dancin' YEAH!

OMG, Vicki! Thanks for that one! It brought back such great memories. I was the ultimate Bee Gees fan even before disco. That's one of my all-time favorite songs and who doesn't love John Travolta's dance? I had to watch that one full screen. I adored Barry Gibb and even named one of my sons Barry because of him.

P.S. I never noticed it before, but I'm sure that's their younger brother Andy singing with them on stage. :)

Disco was fun to dance to but it didn't take long before I got into punk; Echo and the Bunnymen, Souxsie, Martha and the Muffins, Chumbawamba, Ramones, Dead Kennedy's, Patti Smith, Nina Hagen, Lou Reed, The Residents ... <3

Not really. I was really happy when the era was over.

I'd much rather listen to Echo and the Bunnymen, Depeche Mode, and many of the others of the punk set.

Shari wherever you are, the 510 bridgeless attys finally arrived. My initial impression is that I am really going to need to lower my nic level. lol Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

There is a bit of breaking in to do with them. Start your dripping at a little lower voltage than you normally like for your juice. Drip there for a few hours and slowly raise the voltage. Take a couple of days to get the voltage up to where you want it. Brand new atty, put 4-5 drops in and wait a few minutes, then go with the 3 drops and vape. Ocelot has a good Blog post on dripping, for a beginning dripper. It is worth the read.

Whoa....... you must be a light weight and doing really well on your nic level. I keep dripping at my trusty 24mg. After 5 months about 1/2 my juices are 18 or 12mg, but my mainstay is still 24mg. Maybe that is why I do not sleep half the time.

Now I do read that once you go RBA you pretty much across the board have to cut your nic level quite a bit. I hear as much as in half or more. Since I do not have RBAs I can not say for sure, but that seems to be the consensus.

I was born in '73 but I remember disco, 80's hair bands, 90's boy bands, but you guys would ALL hate the music I listen to these days. I got tired of telling DD to turn that crap down, so I started listening to her crap too. It's addicting!

We finished our lunch and now I need a nap! Got some nice slippers and a gift card for Subway, yippee! Have a great day everyone. . .

Ooohhh. I am always on the hunt for a good pair of slippers. And the bestest, softest flannel PJs. A lot of the new stuff is either the sweat producing polar fleece or the teeny tiny yoga pants and tiny tees, for skinny teenagers. Where are the old lady comfy man-type flannel pjs of old?

probably in the men's dept! I buy a lot of stuff for myself in the men's dept (like shirts and socks) :)

I got some Joe Boxer jammies from KMart for Christmas one year that LOOK LIKE flannel but are just thin cotton. I was so excited for a minute until I realized they would not be as warm as flannel would be. However, usually you'll find me in sweatpants and a loose T-shirt with socks. These slippers are Dearforms, they are almost too nice to wear around my house and ruin!
