I have the Ninja! Mine is one step down, but I love it and use it at least twice a week!
I love that crockpot too, I want that later for next year holidays. How do you use it for extracts, I find that interesting.
the jacket is really cool, I never knew they had anything like that. I guess I have been in Florida too long!
I hope you enjoy all of your gifts but more important, enjoy each other!

Good evening and Merry Christmas! I got all the company I was not expecting today, and the food is all prepared/eaten/put away. A few dishes remain in the sink but I'm wiped. Received a few gifts (also unexpected and embarrassing since I didn't reciprocate) and passed a few hours having adult conversation, a novelty around here. Now I'm ready to put my feet up and relax.

I need to mix up some more 24mg liquid, it's all gone and the 18 and 15 are not hitting the spot. I could smoke a whole pack right now if it presented itself on my doorstep! My sister didn't come over today so thankfully the opportunity did not arise. Tomorrow is another story. . .she's supposed to bring my nephews over and I have no will power left. I will confess all after it's over.

Have a wonderful peaceful night!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

mother-polar-bear-and-3-babies-christmas-card.jpg

I hope everyone is enjoying their day! I've been having such a great day, just relaxing, cleaning, and cooking. I also got a couple of lovely (unexpected) presents. :):):) Oh yeah, and I've been listening to my favorite Christmas CD -- which beautifully tells the story of Christmas, and is the same one that my daughter complained about one year saying that it drove her nuts -- she admitted to me this morning how much she misses hearing it!

My wonderful DH is giving me a Provari for Christmas. He gave me a card with his rendition of a Provari. It looks like he was trying to draw a marital aid. (He is not talented in drawing like our own Claudia). Then again, I do not think I could draw one that does not look like a marital aid either. So I have up to $200 for a Provari. Now to decide if I buy new from the website or off the classys and try for some kind of carto tank setup or a kayfun lite or Russian 91%. Since I have no clue what I am doing, this is going to be a tough decision. Bet I do not decide for a couple of weeks or longer. You guys know I over think everything.

I hope you all had a wonderful and joyous Christmas day. We spent it quietly and just did little munchies here and there: shrimp cocktail, sushi, ham and egg sandwiches (late night supper). Tried to find Christmas carols on TV yesterday and today; not much available. They did not broadcast the Mormon Tabernacle Choir concert on our cable system this year. The two Christmas music specials on network TV tonight were underwhelming. We put a couple of older Christmas CDs on the stereo and listened to that most of the day. We like the classics here.

Nice one on the Provari, Shari!

Our Christmas dinner was a hit--no turkey left over, hardly any sides to refrigerate. 4 pies in various quantities left, and some cookies and rolls. Only half the people wanted to use actual dishes and instead elected to have paper plates, so hardly any dishes to wash, either!

We usually have our formal dining room filled with pinball machines, and this year BF was determined to have a table for Christmas so that everyone can sit down (usually we do a buffet style and everyone finds their own places to eat). He went through a lot of troube to get the room cleared out, spent $60 for decorations, and no one wanted to sit at the table!! I felt sort of sorry for him because it was very important to him. But he didn't say a word and seemed to be having a great time.

No presents really, just cards, food, and lots of noisy people in the house. It was great, and I'm exhausted physically. But my brain is still awake so here I sit, at ECF, while BF is conked out in the bedroom...

Alisa, that sounds like a pretty nice Christmas. I am sorry that no one wanted to sit at the table for dinner. It figures. He goes to all that trouble and it was not necessary. Left you a great place to put all the food. Now you both know not to bother to do all that work for future holidays. How wonderful to have a bunch of people that preferred paper plates. Yeah for no dishes (or just many fewer).

I really did not think DH would spring for the Provari for me. He says he is very happy that I am still not smoking and that he knows I want one, but he does not know why. Does not make sense to him but says if that is what I want he will get it for me. I think the new vape shop that opened about 25 miles from my house has them so I may drag him to go look by the weekend. Then again, I may be better off going by myself if I need to ask a lot of questions, which is my tendency.

Shari, I am so happy for you! you better make cake tonight to seal the deal! lol you can find good prices on Ebay for used Provari's, (I looked last week just in case anybody asked me what I wanted, that didn't happen, sigh. LOL I was actually surprised to see around 10 of them on there. fair pricing good condition most sold under $170 with extra accessories. If I had $200, I would buy new for the warranty. That's just me.

Sounds like a wonderful Christmas! I love that he drew the pic in the card, those are the kinds of things you will always remember.

I did it! I am soon going to be the proud owner of a black Provari Mini with a matching extension cap. And a Nitecore charger. Now I have to find out what batteries I need to buy. It takes 18350 and 18490 and 18500. What is the difference between 18490 and 18500 batteries? I am going to have to do a lot of battery reading stuff.

Did I say that it has a blue led. It should be pretty. I am so excited. So much for waiting for a couple of weeks and going to check them out in person. The seller is going to try to ship it out before Saturday. Oh, and he is sending me a faux leather sleeve he made for it too. I can not believe that I pulled the trigger this quick. I am amazed at myself.

Shari, congratulations! you are now a Princess! Well, when you get it you will be. I am sure you will love it.

I use Efest batteries on my VV/VW mods but, the Provape site recommends AW brand. on the battery's the 18 stands for the width and the last three digits stand for length.(350,490,500) Generally, 350 are 700 to 800 Mah, and the 490-500 are around 1100 mah. Make sure you get button top batts, Provari can't take flat top batteries. The battery should be a High Drain Battery, order from a fast shipper so you will be ready!

Good morning everyone. I'm going to try to do this from memory so it ought to be fun if nothing else. lol

Lox those are some great presents, what is the Ninja I tried to figure it out from the pic but had some trouble doing that, it looks like a crock pot in the pic but since the other pic is a crock pot I'm confused. :)

Shari congrats on the Provari, woooohooo.

Cliff did something equally amazing, he got me several really nice gifts and then after I had opened them all he handed me a very sentimental card with a $100 bill in it and said go get your atomizer thingy, whatever it is. Somehow I think even though he is not artistic, had he tried to draw a Provari he would have made sure it was a pretty good rendition of male parts. lol

I had wanted to go to the B&M to get the Igo-L RDA and that is what he was talking about, of course it is no where near $100, and I have since changed my mind cause there aren't any holes in the posts. He got me a new FoodSaver as mine is about 10 years old, a pressure sensitive stylus for my iPad, and a pretty fleece lined hoodie and a few other little things. He likes to have lots of things to open so we get each other a lot of little really inexpensive things normally with one or two really nice things. I got him a goPro camera to put on the roll bar of his race car and the normal compliment of silly things, like a new toboggan hat and an Elmer Fudd hunting hat to keep his bald head warm, and sweat pants and stuff like that, and some accessories for the goPro.

We went over to his cousin's for dinner which was wonderful even though not close to a traditional Christmas dinner, her daughter and granddaughter had come down from MD last weekend and she did the whole bit Christmas dinner so she did a pot roast in the crock pot that was to die for good. I just may have to get a crock pot and try that myself, my pot roast is very good but hers was something I'd like to do as well.

Alisa that sounds like a wonderful Christmas to me, I really miss family and what could be better than lots of good food and family all around. :)

Good Morning!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone has a great day!

Claudia, it sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas, I am so happy that you will be able to get the rest of your supplies for rebuilding. I still want to do that though I am not sure how well I can wrap a coil.

The Ninja is a crockpot on steroids! It works like a stove top, a regular crockpot and an oven you set it to the function you want and it cooks like that particular function. amazing product, I thought a Nesco oven was good, this thing rocks. very easy to clean as well.

I am so excited for you! Soon you will "get it" as to why ppl love them. I suggest going for AW button tops too. I notice they last longer. The 18490/18500 are used interchangably. I don't think there's much difference. You might try getting one 18350 and one 18500 to see which you like best. Your not going to find sales on AW's. RTD vapes, I use Desert Vapes, a lot of places sell them. Two batteries would be the minimum and probably wouldn't last all day.

Don't forget to get a battery case.
Get several as I end up using them for all sorts of little things too.

I switch out 18350's apx 4 times per day during a long chain vaping day. I always carry 2 spares. My mod holder is my purse though. With 18500's I switch them out apx 3 times per long chain vaping day. Those are maximums. I'm sure there will be an Efeast coop coming up soon. Mad Vapes also sells the EP battery which is similar to Efeast. I have all three brands in constant rotation and IMO the AW's last 20% longer.

I'm going to be curious about what you like using on top. I feel like the odd person on the Provari threads because I like one brand of the nova best. I have a cart tank but I just can't get into them. Protanks, puritanks, davide, hypertanks, aspires and who knows what next week will bring. I can't keep up and I really don't want to.

Santa set me snus to try.
Thank you Lox.

The main present was the dinner. We got into the fruit tart for breakfast (it's fruit, right?) OMG. It was glorious. Is it just me, or does everyone find everything reminding them of a possible vape flavor? Now I want a shortbread, custard and blackberry/blueberry with whipped cream eliquid (there were more fruits, but those two were standouts together).

If anyone is interested on Yaeliq's FB page there's a special; buy one 100ml for $18 and mention which driink flavor in the comment box to get another 100ml for free. That's a lot of juice.

Oh ok I have two Nescos, a 6 quart that I use all the time and the Nesco roast air monster that I haven't used in a long time. I haven't ever tried using the 6 qt as a slow cooker but I may, just wondering if the crockery part is necessary for that good slow cook flavor or if the Nesco will do as well.

I'm not sure how well I will do with coil building either, but I'm sure going to give it a try. :)

Good Morning!!!!!!!!! I hope everyone has a great day!

I really like mine too and got the AW button tops at the same time I ordered the Provari, I do need to get more batteries though. I use primarily 3 devices during the day so one 18490 lasts me the whole day usually, I have two but need more and a battery case. I also need to get some button tops for the SID because the flat tops cause the fire button to be fiddly on it.
So far my favorite toppers are the Aspire glass ones that come in colors, I can never remember their official name, but I really hope I am going to love my new RDA when it gets here. I lost my mind the other day and fell head over heels in love with a Trident Clone and was assured by others that it was as easy to build a coil on as the Igo-L. I guess I'll find out soon.

I'm not overly impressed with the 510 bridgeless drippers, I get the same flavor from the Aspires and the having to drip so often is kind of annoying to me. I also have a Vision Eternity coming that I won and it looks very interesting, can use it as a dripper or a tank. The dripper part will hold 35 drops and PBusardo really liked it, although he said the flavor was slightly muted, but he was using the coils that came with it, maybe with a micro coil and cotton wicks it would be better.

I've got to get busy and get this craft table cleaned off so I have a place to play with coils, my wire came Tuesday and I have the jig.
