Oh ok I have two Nescos, a 6 quart that I use all the time and the Nesco roast air monster that I haven't used in a long time. I haven't ever tried using the 6 qt as a slow cooker but I may, just wondering if the crockery part is necessary for that good slow cook flavor or if the Nesco will do as well.
I'm not sure how well I will do with coil building either, but I'm sure going to give it a try.![]()
The Nesco works as a slow cooker no problem, I had one for years when I was married (I left everything when I left him) I don't think it's the ceramic but the heating elements ability to surround the pot, the Ninja does not have ceramic.
