Please keep in mind this is not a right or wrong discussion. It's multi-layered with a lot of elements and influences and many years to get this way. It's not going to be fixed overnight, if at all. My gut is that the concentration of wealth, power and business into the hands of a few is probably not the way to go. I refuse to blame the poor for this system, even if there is wrong doing, it pales in comparison to what the majors are doing - HSBC gets caught money laundering for drug lords and a slap on the wrist? BofA stole homes with no paperwork!!! It's obscene. And this is what we hand off to our kids? That's the thought that keeps pulling me back into it. At least I don't have to feel like an enabler, but there's a good chance my words are going to do more in a letter to a rep than here. To give up hope gives up on our kids too. I'm really not attempting to convince anyone of anything. It's just one more opinion.

I do agree it is a rigged system. The problem is I do not see a solution, not with the two parties that are running the towns and states and country now. Once you fall behind there is no catching back up. Just make sure you do not get sick or lose your job, unless you are already one of the few. I am not a good salesperson or entrepreneur, I am not cutthroat enough. And that means I lose in most showdowns.

I was once like everyone else and thought the same things, I would like Sec 8, we have it here. I have a three year wait. But, families with kids come first. and I am ok with that, better than living in a hotel for them and certainly better than the woods. There but for the grace of god go I. If roommate decides he can't help me financially, I would have to join them.
I hope I don't offend or put people off that I consider my friends, but you have to really see it up close to get what it's about. I also have to go to many of the same food banks and places to obtain help, I have talked to these people, they are very much like you and I , they have the same hopes and dreams that we have, lost their way, they are trying to find help. Maybe not all of them, but a good many. Sorry this was long poor grammer or spelling. rant over and back to my Sock Hop last song!

I have no encouraging quotes to offer. From yesterday until right now we are all sick. So I think a strong woman is the one who can clean up after and take care of 2 sick kids, while being sick herself. Surely the reward will follow. . .

My co-worker has begun calling me a carrier pigeon, since we are always sick! I'm beginning to wonder if it's true. 12 stomach viruses in the last 3 months. Or maybe the same one virus recycled through the 3 of us over and over again. . .anyway, sorry wasn't around more lately and hope to see more of you guys during tonight's girl group dance!

Sorry you are sick again FQ, that really sux. I don't think I've had 12 stomach viruses in my whole life.

I thought I'd post a pic of my ProVari with the Vision Eternity RDA/RBA sitting on it, the Eternity is what I won in the GotVapes weekly game. It appears to be quite nice and decent vape, I like that it holds about 35 drops of juice as a dripper and is rebuildable. PBusardo says a slightly muted flavor, but I'm thinking that might be remedied with a micro coil and cotton wicking, we'll find out.

Sorry your ill and have to take care of others rather than being taken care of yourself. Just remember your kids are the greatest accomplishment in life. At least that's the way I look at it.

I'm starting early.



Liverbirds were one of the first successful girl groups where they were muscians and wrote originals. More popular in Europe. The lead singer was 6' tall and some say pop wasn't ready for "big girls" in the states. The vinyls go for high prices now. There was a nine album set of "Girls in the Garage" showcasing the forgotten girls bands of the 60's. It's was out of print when I got a copy (yippeeee). Awesome stuff.

Even your pic shows you are an artist. great angle, perfect placement with pitcher in the background and provari off to the side in the foreground, very much like you would see on a web page for advertisement.

I am so sorry to hear that you are under the weather again. Can you think of anything environmental it could be from? Look around to see if there is something that could be causing it. Or it could simply be something you are passing back and forth.

I do hope you all feel better soon and you are a strong woman! Keep it up, your kids are learning to be strong too!
