The group was a huge hit that year, I think they since disbanded. That what people liked, I am not a fan, but I thought that the whole thing was meant to be funny, not sure they wanted to be taken as serious musicians. I could be wrong.

I miss beautiful music, or at least people with beautiful voices, today's artists don't always have as much talent as I would like to see them have. The marketing is more important. People like Buddy Holly might not have had a chance if we had had music videos in his day. The music industry changed so much since videos became the norm,

I am still a fan of older music show tunes, opera, and classics. I love old movies and never go to see the new ones. I haven't seen a new movie in over 8 years and before that it had been 15 years. (I couldn't smoke in the theater or when I was married, hubby wouldn't pay)
I never felt like I missed anything.

Even the shows like the Voice and Idol haven't gotten it right for a while now. A lot of very talented people get eliminated. I am not always happy with the final 3-4 people. Idol got it right just a few times and these others have all missed the mark. Record(downloads and CD's) sales prove me right.

I should have been born 20 years before my time. LOL

My Sunday looked like this:

- house cleaning that was overdue (equals me satisfied)
- spending time with friends I haven't hung out with for awhile (equals me pleased as punch)
- me joining CASAA, finally (equals me proud and antis having something extra to worry about)
- me partying a wee bit, enjoying half a log and a whole lot of vaping (equals me very satisfied)
- watching Packers beat the Bears on a 4th and 8 play that resulted in TD and division title (equals me giddy with excitement and best thing that happened to me all day week month year)

 I must have missed you making your decision......it's usually a much longer road ..... :p

Yeah, I jumped on it. Here is my thread regarding my crossing to the dark side.

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/provari/507067-provari-mini-has-chosen-me.html

I am trying to get into the spirit of things. It is a huge major purchase for me and hopefully my mod of all mods. So now I will have my one device that I can change batteries in.

ETA: Kind of like the ONE RING in the Lord Of The Rings.

It's a fun song, I think that they were just having fun making it. It was a summer dancing hit. Good beat! I liked the M&M commercial

Who was the performer? And was Justin Bieber just a cameo in it? I think I only saw him for a moment. At least they could have had some Chippendale dancers. Now that I would have enjoyed!

There are some very good movies, IMO in the last 8 years or so. But I too don't go to the theater all that often. Kinda want to see The Hobbit on the big screen, but other than that, I'm okay with home viewing.

But I must say that one of the best films I saw this year (for my first time) was released in 1944: "Double Indemnity." Had always heard good things about it, and the dialogue in that film surpasses most films I've ever seen. I look forward to seeing that one again, and again, and again.

I never saw it, so I looked it up, has an interesting plot, I know it was nominated for awards but did not win. At the time they considered it a classic and the standard for similar movies. I loved the Lord of the Rings series I will wait for the Hobbit to come to TV.

Glad you had a good day today!

The group is called LMFAO and it is Barry Gordies son? I think, they were directed or produced by Will i am (SPELLING) from the Black Eyed Peas which I am a fan of.

the music is for fun and dancing, it will never be considered fine or remembered as anything more than guilty pleasure kind of stuff.

This year we have this one which I love

The computer guy told me never to clean them. That was after I did and my computer wouldn't turn on again. It didn't like being dust free.

I was told to make sure no dust in vents, keep keyboard clean. clean screen I don't open the computer to clean just the outside. I have seen people clean inside too. I wouldn't because if you don't know what you are doing you could dislodge something
