Lox, it is repair work, no new construction. No permit needed, I checked. But that does get my wheels turning. I found out that the insurance company does not require that the contractor be licensed, which thwarts that plan. I am still thinking. I hate working at cross purposes but it is to protect my home and his main asset. Someone has to have their head about them.

I think people should have to pass a basic competency test to have children and also to own a home. I am rambling. Trying to inject a little humor here. Ha ha.

I have also discovered that 18350 batteries do not last very long when you drip into your atty nonstop. This probably was not a good time to drop from 24mg and 18mg to 12mg. Going to hunt for some more 24mg bottles. Must have some here somewhere. I would say I want a cigarette (really an enormous stogie!), but, to my surprise, I do not. I am just aggravated beyond all reason. And I also discovered that 12mg juice in my attys on my spinners are not satisfying me at all. I am holding my own with the Provari and the MVP2. This is a new thing for me. Wonder why.

There must be a way to get what I want. Got to protect the man and his house somehow so he does not make it so it can not be sold down the road because that day will come. The thing is he is a pretty smart guy in most things.

I checked on common law. Not in TN unless I read it wrong. I just made some bad choices in my life and I am paying for them now. I will end it when I have had enough or when I get the balls.

Shari,

I wish I could help. I can't. Whatever happens, you have to do it.

Goodbye, with fondest remembrances

I would be surprised if permitting wasn't required. Usually (around here) even replacements have to be brought up to current codes and the way that's enforced is with permits. And this area isn't as tough as some areas. There's just no sense in worrying about it if there's nothing you can do about it.

I wonder if Karen's doing ok.

Shari,

I'm sorry!!!

That post came from some very badly mis-directed anger.

I don't like bullies.

I don't like being bullied, or seeing people I care about get bullied.

Although I haven't put much of it out there, I see just too much of it these days. Me, and people I love, under attack from lawyers, insurance companies, the IRS, the government, and it gets to the point where I can't stand it any more.

I am so sorry that I sent my frustration your way. It was really meant for those other a**holes.

Please forgive my outburst,

Mark

It really hurts me to say this, but you're correct on that. I've done some searching myself, and all my searches come up with the same thing--common-law marriage not recognized in Tennessee. And, unfortunately, unless your DH has a will clearly stating that you are his beneficiary when he passes on, there's no guarantee that you will get anything--no house, no pension, nothing at all. That sucks.

You have no choice but to yield and let him do what he wants to do. Maybe a visit with your son and DIL would be in order. Getting away for a while might provide some much-needed rest for you, and you will get to visit with your new grandson, too. Double bonus :)

No. I think we are totally misunderstanding. I thought you thought that I wrote that I was going to kill myself (by writing I am going to end it). And then I thought you were writing that you were saying goodbye to me. Forever.

What a silly mess. No wonder teenagers kill themselves over silly stuff written on the computer. Intelligent adults can not figure out what we all are writing to each other. Where are the grammar police?

Am I still missing what you are trying to say? I can be pretty dense sometimes. I think I am not understanding something you are saying.

I have decided I want a cigarette. But I am not having one. I found some 24mg liquid. That should do the trick sooner or later.

I'm way too brain dead to read between the lines. Shari you do not have to leave your DH until you are damn good and ready. This will work out, he picked you, so he must have a few brain cells still in working order! No talking about suicide, intentional or not.

I have to work tomorrow and the little one is in the bathtub with little to no tears. It's a Festivus miracle! We're off to bed right at 9, although I doubt I'll get to sleep that early, one can hope.

Everyone have a great night!

Thank you Aik. I am confusing myself. Guess not enough nicotine. I have been pretty stressed this past week and I picked a real great time to lower my nic level. I had forgotten that I was doing that. Then I was wondering why I am edgy and bouncing off the walls. Granted the house mess is a decent reason, but I have been getting out of proportion the last day and a half.

Could not figure out why I was sooo over reacting. Some is normal for me with these circumstances, but I have been over the top on and off. I think it is the nic reduction. I dropped almost all of my nic from 24 to 12mg right before the walls and ceilings came down. I have found a few bottles of 24mg I have been vaping the past couple of hours. It really does make a difference. I am a little surprised after all this time. It took me so long to figure out because I did not even think twice about dropping levels. Kinda forgot I did. Thought changes were more me using different devices and different toppers and new flavors. Interesting.
