c1-c4 I set to various wattage modes and it did save them...I set c5 to tc/joules and it did not save it.

IMO: it was rushed out, and gobbled up by too many people before all the little software bugs were worked out. I'm guessing the q mini also has similar issues, but I assme an update to the firmware/app will correct them.

I'm kinda glad I opted for the q class and not the q mini. My only gripe is overhang with 24-25mm atomizers, but I owned a perfect 23mm for it, and it has a permanent home on a rock solid stable mod with that auto rotating screen I've come to love.

^^^that's the same guy that I was talking about that trashed Boxer. He has points, but I dislike him as a reviewer...it's like Mike Vapes took steroids and became extra douchey.
Yeah, look at his review of (I think) the lost vape skar, it's literally the worst review I've ever seen.

I don't want to get in the midst of a pissing contest on here, with that being said I thought the review was slanted in the fact that he is colored blind and could not read the screen. so he did not like it. I watch reviews for pros and cons. but when a person decides they don't like something for personal reasons they will go out of their way to trash something. I don't believe there is anything that can be built that haters cant find something wrong with it. the mod got good reviews from mike vapes and from dls vapes. I just wish mine was in my hands and not in varitubes bank account

It's hard when you set delivery deadlines and you can't get everything lined up in time. If the hardware is solid, it's annoying to be waiting on software updates, but at least you've got a usable product, and the knowledge the software work is ongoing. Sure, it's nicer all together (especially at this price point) but things happen when vendors expect your mod in hand to fulfill preorders.

Yeah, I don't watch them unless I have a sudden urge to see a short fat neckbeard giving unbelievably biased opinions. The colorblindness thing, I am almost completely colorblind and had no problem with navigating through the thing.

That said I'm not really a fan of it, yet at least. My main issue with it was the TC & lack of functionality. When I first heard about this board almost a year ago, I read about fully customizable TFR curves using the screen or Bluetooth without having to plug into a computer, along with a whole bunch of other stuff I don't see on it. I do think that with the way it is set up and with future firmware updates, most of that could be fixed if they wish to and it still has a lot of potential. I know they will eventually fix the app, but if they just do proper TC I will run out and buy one right away. Till then I'll just continue to keep an eye on it.

Buy maybe Yihi could add different colors so it would be easier for those that are color blind...and an added feature for those not colorblind...kinda like the backgrounds they already have...

I have friends who are red-green-blue color blind and vape. Another suggestion was sent to Yihi to consider adding color choices for the menu and screens. Just about every display screen is made up of red-blue-green and not just the menu. Will let you guys know should they reply, as they have been great at responding back.

Just a few statistics from google:

Colour (color) blindness (colour vision deficiency, or CVD) affects approximately 1 in 12 men (8%) and 1 in 200 women in the world. In Britain this means that there are approximately 2.7 million colour blind people (about 4.5% of the entire population), most of whom are male.

Approximately 1 out of 12 males and 1 out of 20 women are color blind. A person with color-blindness has trouble seeing red, green, blue, or mixtures of these colors. The most common type is red-green color-blindness, where red and green are seen as the same color.

This guy talks about the bluetooth and other things.... if you want to criticize the message (his opinion) then do it and not the messenger that posted this video....

He doesn't appear to have much objectivity with regards to vaping reviews, I get it has flaws but it's definitely not worth a two out of ten for God sake a two out of ten these days will be your vype pens and what not and even them have there uses to people. Seems too caught up on the fact he can't see the screen, which is a valid complaint for sure but your supposed to review things with no bias. My personal take on the G class is have concerns that the finish will not hold up over time and the more it gets used the worse it will look and for a 200 quid mod that is upsetting to us who like to keep things pristine. The screen is beautiful but functions no differently from any other mod out there just looks prettier and is a little bit easier to see information at a glance. And she really is a bit of a hefty one and whilst well made that screen definitely takes it out of the use and abuse category. In a nutshell I would gladly buy one again I love it sure it's unfinished in terms of software but maybe that screen was put onto the chip with the forethought to do something radically new, and they will capitalise on that. Vaping has certainly gotten very stale in terms of mods now they all essentially follow the same pattern 3 buttons oled screen showing us wattage ohms and battery and maybe higher wattage here or more constant temperature control there, but I feel innovation should still be sought out and things need to be tried and looked at even if the end result is just a beautiful screen and a better way of negotiating menus otherwise we end up with nothing more then a handful of dna copies with slightly varying designs on the chassis.

Yep.... innovation should be sought out and has been for years to get us to where we are at now. As we have progressed issues have been and are being identified and technology flaws have been tweaked, modified, eliminated, or improved upon. Bringing new technology also plays a part in innovation but takes much more R&D.. Folks may like some features and not like others where others may like the features others do not. Vaping is subjective. So what is a perfect device.... in my opinion it is not the Q, not the G, not the VT 75, not the xxx, yyy, or zzz. The perfect device has not been made yet by anybody. To me the perfect device will be the one where you add your e-liquid to the atty (or holding tank) and the device automatically adjusts, with no menu needed, for the perfect vape. We are not there yet but I hope we get there... Remember how easy it was to take a cig out of the package and smoke it... didn't take much effort.....vaping should be so simple IMO....

Thanks for the reply.
I have another thought and suggestion. I was watching a video review of the SX Mini G and the reviewer is color blind. He is green and red color blind. The menu items on the G display are green background with red letters when highlighted. I showed this to a color blind friend of mine who is also green and red color blind and he said he could not use this device unless different colors for the menu screen were available. So would it be possible to add optional color choices for the menu?
Thanks Cherry

And Cherry's second reply:
Dear omit,
How are you?
Now our engineer is going to change the color of the manu. Would you pls check if this one is better ? May I know your suggestions?

Looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards!
Cherry
