nice build man. i like how you able to get the coils more vertical. bending the bottom parts of the wick that way is pretty smart too. it fully covers the top of the channel so you wont leak while at the sametime it allows max vacuum as the there is no wick in the channels. :toast:

Thanks, I appreciate the idea!

I think I put the coil leads in the opposite direction as you did, to get that more 'veritcal' look to it. It really opened up the air channel going through the middle!

I just got my Goblin a few days ago -- I noticed my ohms were jumping around quite a bit so I drained it and took a peak. Turned out that one of my negative polls had pulled free as I was tightening the lead. I could pull it completely out and pop it back in. Let MyVaporStore know and they're sending a replacement, but I just thought I would leave this here just in case someone else had this issue.

I'll keep an eye out for that as I got mine from MVS as well, been thinking about sending them a message about the fill screw not quite preventing leaking. Maybe that's what's causing some of my gurgling problems as the vacuum may not be sealed well enough..

Well, I'm on about my 7th tank full, and I approve. This is a great device.
Running about 24w on .7ohms and loving it.

But I wish someone would have told me it chugged this much juice, holy cow.
I just switched it to the bigger tank as this is my at home device. Apparently I should have started with the bigger one in the first place.

How are Ni200 builds on the new Goblin? Stable? Good TC behaviour??

I haven't tried one yet, all I have is 28g ni200, and figured I'd wait until I get some 29, or 30g so I wouldn't have to do so many wraps. I think it will work fine if you can build it on the tiny deck.

Here is a youtube review of goblin where the guy does a nickel build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nNDJtqVvzUM

Looks like it works fine, but is a pain to build.

Just dry out the fill hole, and screw after filling it with juice, and it doesn't leak.

Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

This is a big detail along with proper wicking to have minimal to no leaking. It seems a lot of people are having the leaky fill screw, but it's really wick dependent and fill dependent. If there is liquid in fill screw portion along with that wet screw you already created a path for liquid to flow out, even if the screw is in.

I know this because my first wick had this leaky fill screw issue and I did not pay attention to the wet screw going into a wet fill port.

Just got my goblin in yesterday and after a full day vaping on it now I must say "WOW" Lol I love this thing, first build went smooth, no leaking, no dry hits, tons of flavor and vapor, this is my new fav :) BTW I went pretty conservatively on the first build, 28g Kanthal 8 wraps..9 ohms been using it on my magneto mech 90vg 10pg, absolutely no complaints just smooth vaping :) also used it on my vtr and Tesla and worked just fine on both as well but I seem to prefer it on the mech

Just got the first build in the Goblin tonight. Not as pretty as in the Trevor Jones video, but at .4ohms at 35 watts, no dry hit, and good flavor and vapor. Of course the night is young, but we'll see. Not leaking.......................................................yet.

Ever have a day or week when you build like ya got two left hands and you're strictly right handed..........I have these past few days.

Hahah, I hear that, I've re-wicked this Goblin more in the past few days than I've ever done for any device seems like. Just can't quite seem to get this right using build pics and tutorials, maybe I just gotta find my own way.
