So after a few days using the goblin, I have had a few leaking issues from the airholes/screw when using anything but high VG juice, but have attributed that to user error on my behalf. Its all about the wicking on this tank, which seems to be a delicate balance to get it perfect but once you know how to do it it doesnt leak anymore regardless of the juice.

my only gripe with the tank thus far is how it refills (not a fan of the screw at the bottom method as once you fill you are stuck with that build until the juice is gone unless you want to waste juice), id much rather sacrifice a bit of the compactness of the tank and have it be just a bit taller so it could fill atlantis/subtank mini style

I've got a Garry Dibley hand turned Resin tip on my Goblin. Picked up a few of them last year when I was in my "tips have to match the colour of my mods" stage No burned lips here.

I had it that bad, I was matching up my Kayfun tank colours with my tips and mods too. And they say some Women have a problem with shoes

I was initially attributing the leaking on my revised #3530 to wicking issues, but it's definitely the fill screw.
12 tanks vaped with my first version #1327 without any leaking issues.

Ok, are people saying that juice is leaking from the fill screw, and wicking to the AFC ring? Because that's interesting if it is the case. I must pull out some teflon tape for fun. Not sure where to get a small enough o ring.

The small glass can be had at lots of places. It's the same one UD uses for other tanks. The big one hasn't hit the States yet as far as I can see, or I haven't found one yet. It's good to see it in the EU, means there will be some for us soon, but without the longer chimney it won't help to upgrade the ver.1.

I got a spare larger size glass tank when i got the goblin. From a store over here and they don't ship elsewhere but I'd gather they would be or soon be available most places.
If you have the first goblin you also need a longer chimney top.

Got some gurgling and it would seem the coils were too high.
Lowered the coils and its back to good.

I'm having flavor problems with the goblin, very muted flavor or even a weird metallic taste. I cleaned this thing really good with boiling water and isopropyl so I'm not sure what's causing the metal flavor, coils too close to chimney? No way to avoid that with this thing lol. Wicking is perfect, vapor is impressive, but for flavor it's sooooo far behind my subtank, a little disappointment in that regard. Also I hear the goblin insulator is a repeat of the subtank, melting in peoples juice, and from what I can see there are no upgrades for it yet.

Just recently go the Goblin V1.2. So far I really like it. Have it running a .86ohm build using 10 wraps of 28g kanthal and flavor is the best I have ever experienced. I have two things I have run into. One is the leaking out the fill whole. I see other people have experienced this, is there any good fix that does not require me to wrap it in plumbers tape each time I refill? The other is the fact that it is really loud. The crackling is way louder then anything else I have used. Is that normal? I tried raising the coils, but that didn't do too much. Also, is there anything else that I need to look out for? Thanks.

They should really start selling a upgrade kit for all those that bought the original....I buy tanks really only to try and use at home. I don't feel like forking out another $30 even though it's worth it. Upgrade kit should include extended chimney, larger glass, and screws...
