Well, I think the older member thread is meant for the older members to and to chat. So if what Chaos was trying to do, was replicate the older members thread, for us younger members, we can chat in here too. I like to have a place to chat with people my age on ecf, so if that is what this thread is for, I think it is my favorite thread. :)

If I hit the lottery I will buy you a 5v box mod from madvapes and see if I can change your mind, lol. But I understand. 3 pint night eh? Back in the day I would drink a 40oz and honestly feel pretty damn good. Not sure how many pints is in a 40oz. Flash forward to age 19, and I remember a pint would make me feel the same that a 40 of steel reserve made me feel at age 15 or 16. Sad. haha. I'm sure if I attempted to drink my 40oz Steely today, I'd get sick before halfway through. I guess I chose to do my partying at a young age, so now that I'm college age and all of the kids that refrained from partying in high school are just starting to party, I'm already burnt out. :p

I started partying/drinking around 16. My old address numbers back in the day were actually 211, if you know the steel reserve reference. Never went to college (except for other people's colleges for fun)... I took the entrepreneur route instead. Graphic design and screen printing. DIY baby! I usually get three pints of sam adams seasonal or guinness... takes me about 2 hours.. get a chance to ramble about politics and physics without gettin' too drunk. Most of the quieter, nicer places in MD are all indoors.. which is where ecigs will really come in handy this spring-summer. I've drank and vaped before at the same time and the hit is fine. I actually prefer vaping while I'm drinking but like I said it's too much worry. After 12 years of drinking, I've learned to keep as few things in my pockets at all times while partying. I can survive if I lost a pack of smokes, but if something happened to my ecigs man I'd be hurt emotionally.

ChaosTheory, you started such an awesome thread where people could share their stories, but you keep on derailing it with other unrelated chatter lol. I know it's your own thread... But still :D.

I didn't really have an intended goal for this thread.. just thought the older people thread was awesome and wanted to copy off 'em. I know they got most of us beat x10 with their stories but I figured we could have a thread to go on about whatever. There's a lot of good stuff here. I hope nothin' I posted turned anybody off from postin' :(

Cadaoryn I was in Kandahar in 2002 and I would have LOVED to have an ecig and not have to sit outside all day smoking endless stinkies...I am glad to hear the military is getting onto ecig cause they will be bringing them home and spreading the word EVERYWHERE soon.
Oh man if only you saw kandahar now..im not in that province but we sent a few s-shop peeps there for a little bit.

TomCatt, I know of Samual Adams the man. I know Sam Adams is brewed in Boston, I live in New England. (If i didn't know, I'd let you all line up and smack me silly) But what I'm not educated on is the history of Sam Adams the beer. I'm just wondering why they named it Sam Adams, other than Sam Adams being a Boston resident. I was laughing to myself at the assumption that they may have picked the name Samuel Adams JUST to make the beer sound historical and hand crafted, or whatever. Now that it has become a national favorite, they obviously do not hand craft each batch... And now that it is indeed a multi-national export/import, I'm assuming they make it in gigantic batches. I wonder if they even produce it in Boston, MA anymore? haha. Whatever the case, I think its funny that we all get this nostalgic feeling when we pick up a box of Samuel Adams beer... Because although it has a lot of science and hard work going for it, in the formula and the hops to barley to air to yeast to whatever ratio, its really just a mass produced beer now. Just like Guinness is a mass produced beer, but we all feel like we are drinking from the sterling silver kettle that the Guinness family crafts they're beer from in Ireland... Even though the fact is we all pretty much know that Guiness is brewed in large batches in over 50 countries.

Just slipping in; I turned 54 a couple of weeks ago! At 14, I started inhaling. For 38 years, I smoked between 10 & 50 cigarettes a day. I did quit cold turkey when I was pregnant with my first child & kept it up for ten years. Smoke Stik was my first ecig, and it worked. After my kit came, I only smoked two cigarettes. I've used some great devices--Volcano Inferno, Halo G6, and quite a collection of GLV's. Ikenvape Fusions are my favorite cartos; my Vaporescence Tank is great. And my Halo Truepure made giving up cigarettes possible.

Great thread!

Some of the REAL American microbreweries include, but are not limited to: Dogfish-Head, made in Delaware. Redhook, New Belgium, Anchor, Bells Beer out of Michigan, Harpoon, Magic Hat, Long Trail, & Wachusette all out of New England. These are our beers to be very proud of, as they are not large corporations but rather microbrews. :]

Creeping up on 53 but would love to hang for a few until you all put me in an old folks thread. I started around 14 and quit once for a couple of years but about 10 years ago had just one, right! I was smoking two packs a day and felt like I was hacking up a lung every morning. I quit 6 months ago after the second day vaping and feel great. Sure am glad this forum is filled with many awesome people that understand. Congrats to all that have made the switch and encourage all to spread the word.

Sam Adams was definitely a craft beer at one time. It was started by Jim Koch and 4 other college dudes. It's hard to stay truly craft beer when there is so much a demand for it. Ironically, the better the brew, the more likely it is to expand and lose the microbrew cred. Despite how it's brewed today, sam adams is still one of my favorite beers. there's always a place in my heart for the little craft breweries like Brewers Alley in Frederick, MD. and Brewers art in Baltimore. I've gone a many a miles to sample good beer. I used to be a total beer snob, but then it occurred to me that on an ordinary friday night, I'll grab some sierra nevada, guiness, sam adams or boddingtons... mass produced evil corporate suds, haha.

If you really want to go crazy with the craft beer man, brew it yourself. I mean, not a kit.. like really get into some technique and creativity... Lots of untapped recipes waitin' to be poured down the throats of thirsty men. Sounds like you got a good idea of what beer should be bro, might find yourself to become a worldclass brewmaster like mr. koch

Cheers ;)

I'm 10 and I started smoking when I was 4 years old. I almost didn't post here out of respect, but I couldn't find anywhere for my age group. After running away to the military at age 5 I began smoking up to two packs a day, three if the day had been very stressful. I remember almost sh*-ing myself realizing I had left my mothers teats behind for good as I watched the sun recede behind the shifting sands of Afghanistan. Been vaping for 2 weeks and I'm already feeling much better.[/QUO

Are you for real? is it a typo..I'm I the only one that picked up on this?..10yrs old??..joined the miltary at age 5?? started smoking at 4??
