I spent the entire year thinking that I was 43.. Turns out that I was 42!!
That's funny... I spend most of my time thinking I'm 10. :p

Um yeah, as a matter of fact, when watching TV. Color TV's came out in my childhood.
They came out not long before I was born, but my family was slow to adopt such new, cutting edge technologies. We got our first color TV when I was 12. Our first microwave several years later. I'm still trying to talk them into moving from VHS to DVDs. And a smart phone is science-fiction to them.

I am 43 just this past March 27th. My son turned 18 the very same day. Not planned just happened that way!

Oh, thank goodness I'm not the only one! This is the text conversation I had with my son on my b'day in 2012. He posted the screenshot to FB.

Now that's funny!

Don't feel bad, I'm like someone earlier said. I was born in 1960 which is great because I can figure out how old I am quickly. Unfortunately, as soon as the year changes, I automatically think I am a year older after a few months into the year. Oh well, it's nice when you realize you're not as old as you thought! Hahahaha!

I am about to be 46 on the 4th. Its kind of funny walking into the vape stores at my age. They look at me and think I don't know a dang thing about vaping. Until I pull out my mods and say I need this done or do you have 2.5 ohm coils or whatever. Last night this actually. I went to this store to pick up a extended piece for my Vamo V5 so I don't don't strip the threads like I did when I first got it. (hubby bought a new 510 top for me and it came in the mail yesterday so he fixed my Vamo for me.) Anyways I also have a MVP 2 and the guy was like if your having issues have you thought and I was like stop pulled out my MVP 2 and said you don't even have to go there with me. LOL Because of the forum I have learned so much! Plus having a 21 year old son who got me started on the Vape ride and quit the analogs helps also. (I love hearing from his non-smoking friends that they are very proud of me. Also the kids that do smoke say someday I want to be able to do that. To that I say it takes time and determination! You just have to want to quit! I did after over 30 years!) So glad that the Vape world is here and I am a very proud member!

As for the store thing, I feel you. Went to my local B&M yesterday, 'cause they forgot to give me the pouch that went with my V3 Flip. Whole store filled (about 30 people) under 30. Except maybe me and a couple of the vapers parents. The only thing that irritates me about the store is not once have I heard a staff member mention anything about batteries while wrapping some dudes "cloud chasin' rig"

its great when you walk into the store and know more than the employees because of the forums. i walked in comparing prices and asked if they had a sony VTC5 they just kinda looked at me an scratched their heads. i also asked about prices for cloned mods,50 +vs 20$ online. i also asked about rebuilding and they were like yea i dont do that lol. thanks for the help guys

Im 24 but yeah, most of the vapers i've seen seem to be middle aged+. I think its becausepeople in their 20's take their health for granted more than older folks.

I think you're right about that, also in your mid-twenties, you haven't yet had the pleasure of hacking up bits of lung every morning or not been able to sleep on your side because the rattling in there makes it hard to breathe.
