My last analog was "about" a week ago. I started vaping about two months ago but didn't believe it could replace my analogs until i took it seriously, found some good RY4 knockoff and promised myself I would not start another day with an analog. Next morning i reached for my vape and never looked back. I continue to marvel at the easy transition ONCE I started looking at my vape as good thing and not a "cheap replacement." (It certainly wasn't cheap to start up my vaping hobby!) I haven't counted the days but just picked the beginning of October as my closest guess, give one or two days.

I smoked about a pack and a half a day for 45 years. My daughter talked me into getting a vaporizer in mid May of this year. I smoked and vaped off and on until June 1st. By then I felt like I didn't want to smoke anymore. I actually preferred vaping instead. I stumbled upon Dekang USA Mix and that settled it for me. I've tried other tobacco eliquids from several vendors, but still prefer the USA MIX.

I've since wondered if I'll stray into all the other flavors like my family has. It seems they are vaping a new flavor on a regular basis. So far the ones I tried were ok, but I couldn't imagine it for an all day thing.

I've also wondered if I'll ever fall into wanting something like a Provari or something fancy like that. So far, I'm content with my X6 battery and either a Vivi Nova, or X8 carto tank.

My last stinky was just a couple days ago. Phish played Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Hampton, VA this past weekend (Oh and WHAT a weekend it was! :D every night was a blast!) and on Saturday night a guy was asking me how my Mert worked (left my GGTS in the hotel, use a brass tubed HC Mert for out and about) and I stupidly took off the button to show him the battery and the spring fell off. This was not far away from the front of a venue with about 12,000+ people milling about in the dark, who were all super excited for the show. Sure enough I couldn't find it so I puffed on some stinkies instead.

Of all things after the show was over my buddy and I were walking back to his car and he suggested looking for it again real quick while there were no people around so I turned the flash on my iPhone's video record and actually found it! :D I've been vaping since October 2010 so you can just imagine how absolutely DISGUSTING those cigs were for me. Yuuuuccckkkk! Effing NASTY! 8-o

Sept 22, 2013 was the day I became free from tobacco :2cool:

Hey WillyZee!!!!! That's the same day I quit.....at 8:30 am. I only wanted an analog until about 9am..... Then the desire just left and hasn't been back. I had no expectations, thought I'd just play with vaping for a few weeks, no pressure and I didn't really know it would work cuz I was totally addicted to analogs. Little did I know how easy it would be. Congrats to us all
