10/24/2013, was talking to a buddy on the phone who I got into the e-cig gig about 18 months ago and we were both lamenting how much we needed to quit. We both decided that weekend, we'd quit. I dusted off a bunch of my old shizz, got some new liquid, and haven't had a puff on an analog in 26 days. Can't believe it's been that long but my bank account does :) Getting tested this week, stress at work combined with taking a trip on Thursday should be fun. The night I quit, I actually wanted a smoke so bad (nothing was charged, no liquid, etc...) I went to the gas station and bought a full pack of Camel Menthol Silvers. I smoked one that night, not one since. The remainder of the pack actually sits in my glove compartment, untouched since then. Aside from the first few days, I haven't given a ..... where they were :)

I love seeing all the new people. My last cigarette was August 22, 2010! Over 3 years ago! I was a 1.5 PAD for 15-ish years. I was starting to creep up to 2 PAD when I quit. Like many of you, I stopped smoking as soon as my starter kit arrived. I had 4 stinkies left in my last pack. They sat on my kitchen counter for 6 months. Finally tossed them out. I still have my old lighters, but use them for candles now. :)

I always give the same advice...one minute, one hour, one day at a time. The first 3 days are the hardest. After that, cruise control! And given the horrid technology back when I started vaping, the industry all but guarantees you will succeed at quitting with vaping today. :)

Tomorrow at 1:31pm EDT I will have 1 - 24 hr day! I'm so proud of my almost 12 hrs now, I could just about yell from the rooftops. Had just come out of the B&M store with my rig, all set up and ready to go, after spending 1.5 hrs testing flavors and learning how to use it. Got in my truck, lit a smoke, took 2 drags and threw it out the window. Vaped all the way home and haven't looked back. Analogs never tasted this good and I must have picked the right nic level, because I haven't been the least bit antsy. I feel the same as when I was smoking, but happier because I know I am going to be in much better health soon.

Can't wait for my 1st anniversary!:rickroll:

Congrats to you all! Much Love!

My journey started when I called my oldest son on HIS birthday and we got to talking about e-cigs as we both had tried a ciga-like but just didn't do it for us. Said he had gotten a eGo style kit and he loved it and that I should give it a try. Next then I know he says pops let me get you one and so on HIS birthday he buys me a kit lol. So a couple of days later the kit arrives I got maybe 1/2 a pack left which would have maybe lasted until I went to bed normally that was on the 7th of Feb they ended up lasting until the morning smoke on the 11th. Looked at the pack as I threw it away and said screw them I'm done! Haven't had one since! Must admit I got GREAT KIDS!

It's been over a year, but doesn't feel that long! Had my last cig about 10 days after starting to vape. Wanted one about 3 months in but just vaped super hard that night and have never wanted one since. I smoked about pack and half a day for around 8 years. Can't believe it took me that long to quit, but I'm glad I did, my body thanks me everyday!
