change your coils/wicks often. two tanks max for me. when i started it was hard to know when to change coils. i would go a week and get off flavors by day three. once i started rebuilding and using cotton the flavors were better and the cost of coils nil. some folks will never go there and to them i say. two coils a week or as needed.

Persevere. If you are transitioning from cigarettes, remember that most everybody slips on the road to quitting permanently. There's no shame in that, and very seldom will anyone here think less of you for it. (There's always a few in every bunch who don't "get" it...) Keep working it through until you find what works best for you. My experience has been a lot of folks are more than ready to help on the road to getting off the stinkies... Keep asking questions and keep trying new things.

If you're using an eGo kit then it came with a clearo that will not last long at all (personal experience) so don't waste money on those a** basket clearo and get a nice one. I have two SmokTech GBC tanks and they were the best investment. I use to buy new crap clearos like once or twice every two weeks at $6 a piece from my local shop, while the GBCs are about the same price (minus shipping of course) and last so long, give great flavor and vapor production.

There's always going to be people who gave up cigarettes cold turkey without any difficulty and non-smokers who don't understand addiction. These people have no idea what you have gone through and how important vaping is to you. They don't understand and they don't understand that they don't understand. It's going to be near impossible to explain to them and every word out of their mouths is going to sap your energy. Don't let them get to you.

Don't over do it. Go easy on buying new stuff all the time. let your device rest/wick between vapes. learn how and when to clean/change out tanks/cargos/clearos. learn Ohm's/Watt's law. Find your sweet spot. When you graduate from n00b status, save money and get a good vv or vw mod. Have a backup, you will break something soon enough.
