Juice not vaping, like at all

Ok, so, I live in a state where they started tightly regulating vale juice. I haven’t made my own in almost 4 years but I figured I’d start again, save some money cuz what little flavored juice you can find at the few stores that absorb the fines is at a markup. I used to be good at it but I also used to basics love at the vape store and also build all day long religiously so, there’s that too. ok, enough of my life story.

I made a few flavors and al went well except for one. I made it a long time ago but I’m getting different results now. It is a blue raspberry flavor. no sweetener, I don’t like the Sucralose and it preserves coils that way. 70/30, 20% flavor mixture 3 parts blue raz sour candy to 1 part blue raz. Touch of menthol, you get a blue raspberry slushy. I swear it worked once upon a time ago. Well, something weird is happening. I did only steep it for a few days, like 3 or 4, but it’s not wicking, or maybe it is, but no vapor hardly at all, and immediate burnt taste. In fact, I tried wicking a new coil with it yesterday. Waited 10 minutes after priming, fill up the tank, start at 60w, small tip, nothing, I don’t think much of it cuz it’s a 110w coil, so I really rip it, and boom the coil is totaled. Load up new coil, and i prime with a different juice I made and it’s totally fine. Tastes great. I pop in the blue raz again, even mixed into the existing juice and I immediately have problems. Barely any vapor and now I’m not burning the coil out but it just tastes like a plant is on fire. So I thought, maybe something about this mixture needs to be thinned out. I load in some more PG and flavoring which is PG based, wait a day. Come today. It’s worse than yesterday. Now not very little, literally no vapor is coming out and I can’t get a half hit before I just get a nasty plant like taste.

I can rule out sugars because there is no sweetener, I can rule out viscosity because it’s now more like a 60/40, and I can rule out a bad coil because other juices are fine. It’s just this one flavor, which is a shame because this one is my favorite.

does anyone know what might be going on with this and have any ideas on what I might be able to do to fix it? I am super confused by this. I can do complex math in my head and some how it’s making blue raz vape juice that’s making my head hurt.

thanks in advance for your suggestions and advice!

LOST VAPE THELEMA POD MOD review by hittman

I’m glad to be back again today with a very nice pod mod called the Lost Vape Thelema pod mod kit. It was sent to me by Sourcemore in order to do a fair and honest review. I have just within the last month or two become more familiar with Lost Vape hardware having purchased a couple of the Grus mods and an Ursa Quest kit. My initial impression after trying those two is that they make some well- built equipment. Enough about those two. Let’s go down and take a look at the Thelema Pod mod and I’ll give you my input on it.

INITIAL THOUGHTS:

The packaging on the Thelema is nice and simple. The outer cover slides off exposing a lift off box top. However, unlike almost every kit I open with this kind of packaging, Lost Vape had the forethought to have cut outs on each side of the box lid so you can easily grip it by the sides and remove the box top. Most kits you have to shake or wiggle the box top to get it off. It’s a nice touch that they thought of it. After removing the top, underneath I found the black with Ukranian leather Thelema pod mod with the pod on it and the .2 coil pre-installed. Also on nice thing was there were two drip tips included with the kit an MTL and a DTL tip. Of course, also included in the kit was the USB-C charging cable, user manual, and some extra o rings for the drip tips.

In my opinion the Thelema is a very classy looking mod. I’m pretty sure that it is real leather that is used on this mod. Some mods have a leather look but don’t feel or look like real leather. This one does. It doesn’t seem as padded as some do underneath. I’m not usually a big fan of red on mods but love the red leather on this one and the designs and textures stamped into it are truly beautiful.

On the front of the mod going from top to bottom is first what is supposed to be a viewing window for the liquid level but honestly I can’t see the level through it. Looking through the opening to the tinted pod, it’s just too dark for me to see the level. Below that is the fire button which just sticks out a little bit from being flush. Next is the .96” TFT color screen followed by the + and – buttons and finally the USB-C charging port on the bottom which is rated for 2 amps for charging the mod since it has an internal battery which is rated at 3000mah and a maximum of 80 watts. Facing the screen, to the right is the Lost Vape name and on the left is the word Thelema both etched into the metal frame. On the back and wrapping around the sides some is the beautiful leather wrap that I mentioned earlier. Also there is a fairly large opening on either side of the mod to allow for airflow and you can even see the coil ring through it.

The display on the Thelema reminds me of the screen on the Grus. It has a proprietary Quest chip but I’m not sure if it’s the same one as the Grus. On the screen at the top is a battery level indicator with the coil resistance to the right of it in very small font. A little too small for me. Below that is the word Power followed by the wattage set and a W below that. Next is the puff time and puff counter. On the bottom of the screen is a series of colored dots indicating the colors available for the display. They are light blue, yellow, white, red, green, and purple.

Operation of the Thelema is as follows:

  • Five presses of the fire button to turn the device on and off

  • Press the + and – buttons to lock the adjustment buttons but the mod will still fire

  • Press the fire button and the – button to reset the puff counter

  • Press the fire button and the + button to change the screen display color

For the most part, I liked the pod used on the Thelema. It has a 4ml capacity which I think is a good size for a device like this. It has replaceable drip tips and came with two. One for MTL and one for DTL. The coils included with the kit are the Ultra boost series of coils. Included was the M4 coil already installed which is .2 ohms and rated 40-60 watts and the other tip included was the M1 coil which is .3 ohms and rated for 30-40 watts. I found myself running both coils lower than the recommended wattages. I was running the M4 at 36 watts and the M1 at 22 watts. I felt like both coils performed well and gave pretty good flavor and plenty of vapor production. One other nice thing about this device is there is an RBA deck available for purchase separately so you aren’t locked into buying coils if you don’t want to.

One thing I absolutely loved about the pod was that it is top fill. Way to go Lost Vape! You don’t have to remove the pod to fill. So many I’ve seen lately are all bottom fill. The rubber plug for the fill port has the word OPEN on it and has an arrow pointing to the direction to pull the plug from. That’s another that a boy for Lost Vape.

On the bottom of the pod are four strong magnets which match up with the inside of the mod along with two gold plated contacts for electrical contact. Once you get the pod close to being inserted, the magnets will pull it in by themselves. The pod is somewhat tinted but I can still see the liquid level when the pod is removed but just cannot see it through the viewing window.

The coils are actually a push in but there is a collar that screws onto the coil before pushing it in and it has the airflow slots built into it for adjusting the airflow.

upload_2021-1-30_20-15-27.jpg

FINAL THOUGHTS:

I very much liked testing the Lost Vape Thelema Pod mod kit. To me it just screams quality and is has a very attractive appearance. From the real leather wrap to the metal frame it seems to be a quality made device. Some might say it has too much branding on it but I don’t mind the etching on either side. I’ve used it for almost two weeks and have had no issues with it and nothing more than a little condensation under the pod.

The mod is not heavy and not light. It’s a good weight for a pod mod. The screen is bright and being able to change the colors of the display is a fun feature. After reviewing a couple of mods that don’t do it, It’s nice to test one that does allow you to fire with the adjustment buttons locked.

It has a 3000mah battery with a 4ml liquid capacity. To me that is a pretty good match up with what the coils are rated for that are included in the kit.

I simply love that the pod is a top fill. I do however wish that I could see the liquid level through the viewing window in the pod while it is installed but it’s too dark. I think there would have had to be an opening in the back as well as the front to allow enough light in to see the liquid level. That is really the only con I found with this device.

And here we are at the end again. Would I recommend it? If it’s a well-made and attractive looking pod mod that you’re after with an available RBA deck and enough features to make most users happy then yes I would recommend it. It has been trouble free for me during my testing period. I did not receive the RBA with it for testing so cannot comment on how well it works but would like to try it some day.

Thanks goes out to Lilia and Sourcemore for sending the Lost Vape Thelema Pod Mod kit for review. Also thanks to you the readers that make it all happen. Below is a coupon code for the Thelema and a link to the Sourcemore website.

Android > Google Text to Speech or Google voice > How to Repair!

Just passing it along again because Google broke it again today.

If your (Android) text to speech or Google Voice gets screwed up as like it all of the sudden won't do punctuation or "new paragraph"
or any other verbal commands that it used to do ...

The trick is to go into application manager find Google
That is just

Google

And tell it to remove any updates made to it,
putting it back to factory.

Mine just got messed up again and wouldn't do anything like
new paragraph and punctuation and I removed the updates to the Google app and everything is fixed again.

Closed/Sold MTL Vape Lot - Brunhilde, Doggystyle 2K16, and More

I have some great MTL vape gear up for sale. It’s stuff I overstocked on for the Vapocalypse and am looking to downsize a bit. A lot of the items are brand new, unopened, purchased late last year. Shipping is $5 flat rate in the US, no matter how many items you buy in the lot.

Vapefly Brunhilde MTL RTA
- Stainless Steel. 1X for sale, Brand New, Unopened. $30
Vapefly Brunhilde MTL RTA - Black. 2X for sale. Brand New, Unopened. $30 each.

Regarding the Brunhilde MTL RTA. It’s a solid performing RTA. I love that you can just lift the bell cap to access the build deck. No need to remove a the tank or anything. It’s particularly useful if you are vaping a coil killer. I am still keeping some in my personal stash, I am just looking to downsize. Brunhilde MTL RTA

SXK Doggystyle 2K16 - Brand New, Unopened. 5X for sale. With spare PC tank. $11 each.

Regarding the SXK Doggystyle 2K16. It’s not available on Fasttech anymore as far as I can tell. That’s a shame, because it’s a real solid and simple MTL RTA. I still am keeping some on hand myself, but judging by their performance, I don’t need to stock as many. I bought extra PC tanks as well, and for each Doggystyle purchase, I am throwing an extra PC tank in.

Vandy Vape Berserker MTL RDA V1.5. Sold as lot of 3. $20 total.
  • 1 Gold, Brand New, Unopened.
  • 1 Gold, Used. Very Good Condition. 24 mm beauty ring showing wear. 22mm beauty ring in perfect shape.
  • 1 Black, Used. Very Good Condition. Build deck showing a little chipping on the black paint.
  • Includes spare inserts and o-rings I procured from Vandy Vape
Regarding the Berserker V1.5. Please keep in mind this is a dripper with an optional squonk pin. To me, it’s the best MTL squonking dripper out there. The airflow inserts are such a great idea. The V2 berserker RDA to me was a downgrade. I bought the V2 a while back and promptly resold it.

I am getting rid of my V1.5 collection because I don’t have a need to drip or squonk anymore. As much as I love them, they most likely will never be used again. Here's a review of the V1.5L Login to view embedded media

Authentic Tube Dual MOSFET Mechanical Tube. New. Unused. With 2 Extra MOSFET Chips $35.

This item was opened only to inspect. I have another one that I use, it’s a nice mod. Very simple. It behaves like a mechanical mod but with the protection of a MOSFET chip. It accepts an 18650 or 18350 battery. I am including two extra replacement MOSFET chips.

Unico, Univapo. Used, ~40 puffs. Excellent Condition. Needs Replacement Coils. $5 shipping only.

I won this item on ECF. It was my first pod experience. I enjoyed it, but I vape NET, which kills coils. If I didn’t use rebuildables, I’d be sinking a ton of money on stock coils. Anyway, I got it for free, so I am asking only for shipping charges on this one. Keep in mind you'll need to buy coils before you use this.

New member and steam crave fan

Hi
Been vaping for about 5 years now and for the last 2 I have been using steam crave RDTA’s - truly awesome

just about to treat myself to the latest aromarizer plus (have four of the previous version) and looking for a mod that fits these beasts. Currently use a tired Radar which was about the smallest lightest mod I could find that fitted a couple of years ago - any suggestions? Would love to stay as small and as light as possible

Geekvape Wenax K1 Pod system review by hittman

Yes, it’s me again. I’m here to present to you a new smallish pod system being released by Geekvape called the Wenax K1. If you follow Geekvape products then you might be aware that this is the third pod device in the Wenax line. First was the Wenax Stylus, then more recently was the Wenax C1, and now being released soon is the Wenax K1. It is a familiar shape and operation to me since I’ve tested so many pod devices. This one was sent to me by April from Geekvape in order to do a fair and honest review. This is a pretty simple device so I’ll try to keep it short and cover everything I can think of. Below is a link to my review on the Wenax Stylus. I was not sent the C1 for review but do own one and would just say that it has decent flavor but the draw was a little too loose for me for MTL.

Wenax-K1-Kit-12.jpg

Initial Thoughts:

I thought the packaging on the K1 was simple but elegant. I like the white box with the slip off cover and just the Geekvape name and logo on the bottom right corner. Underneath that is a white pull off box lid which exposed the Wenax K1 in blue (my favorite color) with the .8 ohm pod pre-installed, a second pod at 1.2 ohms, a user manual in a sleeve and a USB-C charging cable inside a small white box.

I very much like the shade of the blue K1 that I received. The body of the K1 is made of anodized aluminum and is very lightweight. I was a bit surprised that the battery capacity is only 600mah and would have hoped for a little more seeing as it’s almost exactly as tall as the Xros pod. However it is a little thinner than the Xros. It’s rated for an output of 12-16 watts depending on whether you use the 1.2 or .8 ohm pod and which power level that you choose. There are two small holes on each side of the body that allow for the airflow. The fire button is almost recessed but not quite and is very clicky when pressed but does not rattle. The USB-C charging port is on the bottom of the K1 so it can’t be stood up while charging. I think that even if it was on the side that it wouldn’t stand up since it is so light that the cord would knock it over.

The operation of the K1 is very simple.

  • Five clicks of the fire button to turn the device on and off

  • Button fire or Auto fire functions

  • Three clicks of the fire button to change between the three power levels which are indicated by white, blue and green lights where white is the lowest power level

  • A quick press of the fire button will show battery level

  • There is also what they are calling an anti-inadvertently mode where the mode goes into sleep mode in ten seconds so it can’t be fired accidentally but I honestly haven’t noticed a benefit from it

Wenax-K1-Kit-19.jpg

The pod for the K1 has a 2ml capacity and clicks into the body of the unit very tightly and has never come loose accidentally. As a matter of fact, it takes a little effort holding the battery and the pod in separate hands in order to remove it.

The pod is filled through a port on the side of the pod with a rubber plug. I personally like the side fill on pods because it allows me to get the most liquid in the pod by tilting it while filling. These pods are a sealed unit and do not have replaceable coils which may be a con for some people. I personally don’t mind this because usually these types of pods are fairly inexpensive.

The airflow draw is tighter than it was on the C1 Wenax but still a little loose and not a cigarette type of tight. There is not an airflow adjustment so you get what you get. Personally I like a slightly loose MTL draw so it was a good fit for me even with the flat fixed mouthpiece.

There are two gold looking contacts on the bottoms of the pods to make the electrical connections and like I mentioned, the pod really clicks into place without any magnets present. The pod has a very slight tint to it which makes it very easy to see the liquid level in the pod. I very much like and appreciate this feature. Even with a clear liquid I am using in the 1.2 pod, the level is easily visible.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

Over all, the Wenax K1 is a pretty decent pod device. This one and a few others surprise me as to how strong and how much vapor can be produced from such a small pod device. I found it comfortable to hold and for once prefer the auto draw over pressing the button to fire. I do feel like the airflow could have been a little bit tighter but for what it was, I enjoyed it. It’s not super tight or super loose. Just somewhere in the middle of those two.

I think the 2ml capacity is plenty enough for a 600mah battery unit. I was able to get about 1.5 pods worth of liquid vaped before the battery indicator turned from green (highest level) to blue (medium level), and seemed to last quite a while before going to red (lowest level) and having to be recharged.

I personally didn’t notice a huge difference between the .8 and 1.2 ohm pods. Both had what I would call decent flavor for a pod device but not great. I ran the .8 pod on the lowest (white) setting and ran the 1.2 pod on the blue (medium) setting. Taking into consideration that it is a small pod device, I would probably give it a 7 out of 10 on flavor and an 8 out of 10 on vapor production. I forgot to mention but I was using 70vg/30pg DIY liquid in both pods and had no issues with dry hits.

In the end, I’m sure what you would like to know is if I would recommend the Wenax K1 to you. If you’re looking for a simple and well-functioning pod device for short trips out and about then yes I think I would. I’ve used better and I’ve used a lot worse pod devices. From what I’ve seen so far it’s going to be fairly inexpensive to purchase and would hope that the replacement pods are not very expensive.

In closing, I’d like to thank April and Geekvape for sending the Wenax K1 pod kit for this review. As usual it has been a pleasure dealing with Geekvape. A great BIG thanks to you the readers that take the time to read my reviews. THANK YOU!

Closed/Sold Recurve Dual trade for Solo

Kind of an oddball request but if anyone out there has the recurve single coil and they would like to trade it for the dual coil I would like to do that. I've only used it a couple times. Right now it has a build in it (coils only) but I can take that out or leave it in whichever you prefer. It has everything with it other than the coils that came with it. This one is rainbow colored I don't really care what color yours is. *I just realized that the picture didn't show that it has the screwdriver and the hex thingy as well because I had set it aside but it also has that. May also consider other dedicated single coil rdas maybe even RTA but would prefer the single coil recurve

US shipping cutoff dates - USPS, Fedex & UPS

I believe these are the dates that shipping to US consumers ends:

Fedex - March 1, 2021
UPS - April 5, 2021
USPS - April 26, 2021

USPS - after March 22, on the date the final rule is published, no later than April 26, 2021

It looks like vape shops will be the only way for most US consumers to get devices, coils, nicotine base and premixed liquids going forward.

Time is near to get creative or be fully stocked up!

For sale. Used a couple of times. No scratches dings or dents. It's just not my cup of tea. The squunk bottle that is in it has been used a couple of times but I will clean it out or I can remove it if you would prefer. One of the screws on the bottom came without like the black paint or something that appears to be on the rest of them but that's the only flaw. I took a picture of it so you can see. OXVA Arbiter RTA Review

Hi,

Today I have a top airflow RTA for review, the Oxva Arbiter. The first RTA designed and produced by OXVA.

Interesting uniqueness of this top airflow RTA is that it has 100% top to bottom airflow.

Specifications:

Packaging:

- 1 x Arbiter RTA (bubble glass)
- 1 x Straight glass tube
- 2 x Fused clapton coil
- 2 x Shoelace cotton
- 1 x Accessory bag
- 1 x User manual

Review:

It is a big RTA; at the very base it measures 26.5mm but the middle of the base measures 28mm. I received two color options, black and stainless steel. Both RTA’s look great, but for me the branding is a bit overexaggerated. There is simply a bit too much branding, especially on the outer chamber, a logo and in big letter ARBITER. It would have been nice if only the logo was put onto the outer chamber. And what about the red O-rings? A strange esthetic decision in my opinion. Good news is that a 2nd batch has been produced by OXVA with matching O-rings, so for the black RTA black O-rings and the SS RTA white O-rings.

Machining wise this RTA feels extremely well made, there is however a slight difference between the black and stainless steel, and then I am mainly referring to the top-cap. The Stainless Steel one has quite sharp corners compared to the black one. It is not extremely sharp to cut yourself, but I do feel a difference. Probably because of the layer of black paint the black one is less sharp. But overall, both feel solid.

A nice-half turn top-cap uncovers two large enough fill-holes that are slightly built inside the top, meaning that you can poor liquid even on the sides and it will flow into the tank. With the bubble glass you get 6ml capacity which is proper, with straight 4ml. A tool is included in the packaging, but I have no idea what it is meant for, it is also not written in the manual. First, I thought it is used to unscrew the top-base from the tank to be able to release the airflow ring. I tried but couldn’t get it to loosen.

In general, it is easy to take apart this RTA, but the airflow ring is (as far as I tried) stuck to the top of the RTA. Wish it was possible to take off the airflow ring for cleaning purposes.

When unscrewing the deck, which has really nice threading, you will straight away know what the top to bottom airflow is about. An airflow inner piece/shaft drops out. What this piece does, it blocks all air around the deck apart from the bottom sides. Since the deck is raised up quite a bit, the airflow automatically is pushed up towards the bottom of the coils.

Wide open this tank has really a lot of airflow, like really a lot. No matter which airflow setting you have it at, it sounds very smooth. For me the best airflow setting start from half closed to ¾ closed.

It is hard to find much easier decks than this one. Because it is raised so high it is easy to clip your coils from underneath the posts. Just drop in the coils, fasten the screws and clip the coil-legs. You can get away with dual 3.5mm ID coils on this deck, but I have been mainly using it with Dual 3.0mm ID coils.

Wicking slots don’t look very big, but I think it’s an illusion because the deck is quite large. No issues wicking this RTA at all, also no need to comb out the cotton extremely much. What I did learn overtime with this RTA is that the best is to not force the cotton all the way to the bottom of the deck, but to simply ‘lay’ the end of the cotton on top of the wicking ports. When I was first wicking I kind of forced the cotton down, but that causes a massive issue with chain-vaping. Since the deck is so high, the liquid needs more time to get up there, the longer the cotton, the least success with chain-vaping. After just laying the cotton on top of the wick-port I had no issues with chain vaping.

Best part for me is the vape of this RTA. Since it is a top-airflow RTA I need to judge that way as well, because from my general experience bottom-airflow is not yet beaten (and probably won’t be) by a top airflow RTA. But this one is extremely good for a top airflow RTA, the best out there in my opinion if I am talking about the vape. Very good flavor and a very smooth airflow, no matter in which setting. Flavor wise it even gets close to my favorite flavor banger, the Dovpo Blotto.

One disappointment on this RTA is that it’s a no-no for single coil builds. I tried several coils with different ways of wicking, but the flavor is simply very blunt. And that is because the deck first is maybe a bit too big for that, and second of all the airflow system is just not made for single coils. When placing the coil in the middle, the airflow simply does not touch the coil. When putting on the side there is too much airflow from the other side coming through, taking away the flavor.

Conlusion:

A very solidly made and extremely well performing top airflow RTA. Easy to build, large capacity, smooth airflow and very good flavor.

I have only two things to complain about; not very good performer as a single coil RTA and a bit too much branding.

Also nice to see that Oxva straight away listened to the reviewers and made the adjustment with the O-ring color, because let's be fair, red does not fit.

Would I recommend this RTA? Yes if you are looking for a top airflow, leakproof RTA. In my opinion this RTA is miles further than for example the Zeus X.

Overall, very good job Justin Lai and Oxva, keep up the good work.

Thank you for reading, let me know if you have questions!

Take care,

Sjoerd

Suggest an RTA for me (switching from drop-ins)

Hello!

I am about to purchase a new DNA 250C box mod and was thinking of switching back to an RTA. I'm a direct to lungs vaper who likes flavor but not so much into clouds. I'm not new to the RTAs but I've been out of the scene for at least 4-5 years or so. Been using the drop-in tanks with replaceable coils (Big Baby, Aspire Odan Mini, etc). I remember starting out with the original Vicious Ant Kraken genesis tank and the last time was a Wotofo. I see that some things have changed. Mesh coils? How are those?

I originally was nearly set on the Aromamizer Ragnar RDTA but after watching a few videos, that thing puts out clouds like an extinguisher. I'd have to clean the glass in my little room daily.

Again, I'd like one that's good for flavor, ideally on the larger size diameter since my new box mod will be big, and not so much in the clouds department.

Thanks!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS

Opening up the package and sliding out the container from the sleeve reveals the device and pod/tank sitting in a foam cutout with the kit contents in a rectangular box below them. Inside the box are your coils, charge cable, 18650 battery adapter and user manual. Presentation was good but had a bit of trouble getting the rectangular box containing the kit contents out because of tightness, be careful and take your time getting the box out or you risk ripping it.

20210128_132218.jpg

510

The 510 of the Voopoo Drag X Plus is located on the back side of the top of the device and any 24mm atomizer will work except a atomizer with a squonk pin in it of course. The 510 does have cuts in it that go all the way to the end so if you connect a atomizer to it that gets the air supply from the 510 you are good to go, also the 510 plate is very slightly raised and will help protect the finish of the top plate from getting scratches from atomizer bottoms.

20210128_142232.jpg

FIT AND FINISH

The Drag X Plus has a body of what I think is a magnesium alloy because of it's lightweight but don't quote me on that. The finish on my review device has a gunmetal color that matches the pod/tank very well as does the Drag branding that has raised letters and sits in a rectangular box above the spine of the device. All corners are rounded off making the device very comfortable to use. The inner body of the device has a very soft leather that carries across the spine of the device as well. There is some branding on both sides at the bottom with one side having Gene and the other having Voopoo, both are attractive little markers that I don't find intrusive at all.

20210121_145925.jpg

BATTERY DOOR

The battery door is located on the bottom of the device and seems to be a very secure door, I never had a accidental opening of it in the time I've used it. Battery polarity is marked on the battery door itself with a negative - symbol, there is no marking for battery polarity inside the battery tube. Although I don't recommend using any device as a battery charger the Drag X Plus gives the user 5v fast 2a type-c charging if you are in a pinch with no battery charger handy.

COILS AND POD/TANK

As you can see in the contents of the kit, Voopoo has a new Pod/Tank called the TPP and it's juice capacity has been increased to 5.5ml from the PNP Pod/Tank, and with the new Pod/ Tank come new coils for it. The new coils are the TPP-DM2 0.2Ω and the TPP-DM1 0.15Ω and both are mesh coils with the 0.2Ω rated for between 40-60w and the 0.15Ω rated between 60-80w. The new TPP coils are considerably larger than the previous PNP coils and also have a larger diameter as well as the wicking surface also has been increased. Everything is the same as the proven PNP such as the airflow selector on the 510 adaptor base, connection method which remains strong magnets at the bottom of the Pod/Tank as well as the fill port still in the same spot at the bottom of the Pod/ Tank. You now have the ability to use your own drip tips if you wish, I have no problem using the supplied drip tip finding it to be comfortable to use. Below is a photo of the coils increased diameter as well as larger wicking material. One thing that I want to point out is that all PNP Pod/Tanks will work in the 510 adapter including the Voopoo RTA Pod/Tank.

20210127_132105.jpg

DISPLAY SCREEN

The tradition of a big bright and vivid display screens of past Voopoo devices continues in one of their latest releases. The display screen is very bright being able to view it in direct sunlight and the lettering as well as numbers are very crisp and vivid as well as colorful no matter which modes you choose to use with each having their own color.

VAPING MODES

SMART MODE - ( YELLOW COLOR )

Voopoo gives the user a smart mode that limits the wattage that the user can increase to , only allowing wattage to be adjusted to the maximum wattage of the Voopoo coil that's being used so the user can't burn out a coil with too much wattage for said coil, another feature of smart mode is that Voopoo starts the user off with a suggested wattage for said coil, this is just a starting wattage for the user to begin vaping safely. you can rest knowing that in smart mode you won't burn out your coil prematurely. Smart mode allows the user to reach 80w maximum.

20210128_135009.jpg

RBA MODE - ( BLUE COLOR )

In the RBA mode you can use your own atomizers and put the desired built of your choice and have a maximum wattage output of 100w, you can use RBA mode when using Voopoo coils for a different color screen but you will lose the suggested coil starting wattage recommendation.

20210128_135416.jpg

DUAL UI THEMES

I am very happy to inform you that Voopoo has kept the 2 themes used in previous devices, both look and operate fine but having a choice makes it nice especially for myself because although the Iron theme is a straight forward look of information on the display screen I prefer the Core theme because it is different from the ordinary looking screen that have been shown in the above pictures, below is the Core display theme screen.

20210128_140343.jpg

CLASSY APPEARANCE

Since receiving both of Voopoo's new Drag kits they have been with me everyday at work or our running errands and although the Drag 3 is a more of a traditional box mod, it's rounded corners and somewhat slim design fit just fine in a jacket pocket, but the Drag X Plus is even more versatile when out and about. Both are very attractive as each have their own identity in the looks department there is a special classy look with the Drag X Plus. IMO

20210128_142515.jpg

FINAL IMPRESSIONS

My final impressions are that I like the Drag X Plus very much and the new TPP pod/tank and coils perform great while giving us vapers more juice capacity with the option to use your own drip tip if you desire to do so but the supplied drip tip is very comfortable and works just fine, I saw no need to change it for one of my own.

Both of the new TPP coils perform very well giving off slightly better flavor than the proven PNP coils. With the increased diameter of the TPP coils you will get a lot more airflow as well as vapor so be careful not to set off any smoke detectors ( I have already ) . LOL

Keeping the diameter of the new TPP pod/tank the same as the PNP pod/tank is fantastic because users that already own PNP pod/tank's can interchange each using the 510 adapter of either pod/tank

The mod has never failed me in the time I have been testing it and it fires instantly without hesitation. Buttons are solid and firm and match the color of the metal which also adds to it great appearance. The display screen is very informative with a bright vivid array of your 2 color choices as well as themes.

There are only 2 cons that I have with this kit and the pros far out weight the 2 cons and they are #1 when the airflow is closed down to half or lower a slight whosh sound develops and the 2nd con is you can't lock wattage adjustments only, when you lock you are locking the entire device from operating, turning it off serves the same purpose.

So the big question is do I recommend the Drag X Plus, the answer is a resounding yes I do recommend this kit. It has given me 0 problems and functioned flawlessly for me in the time I've been reviewing it, with great flavor and vapor the TPP will be the new flagship in the pod/tank of Voopoo's new devices.

I would like to thank Chloe and Voopoo for providing the Drag X Plus for the purpose of this review, and I also hope that this review helped anyone looking to purchase the Drag X Plus from Voopoo.

THANK YOU

Whats New in the Vaping World?

So it has been a while since I have purchased any new vape equipment. I am wondering what the products are that everybody is talking about these days. I see the NOVO 3 is out now. Is the novo still a hot product?

I am not partial to any product. I vape everything from mechanicals to subtanks, pods, rdas, disposables.

Anyone know what the die for vape is that is sold out almost all the time? or what have you been impressed with these days?
