Vapefly Holic RDA - complete disassembly possibe?

Recently received a Holic RDA and I wanted to thoroughly clean it before I use it.

I unscrewed the 510 positive pin, which makes the positive post wobbly but it can't be removed because part of it goes underneath the negative post.

It looks like the negative post might actually be press-fitted into to the deck, but I tried to pull it out with some needle-nosed pliers with no luck. To be honest, I didn't give it as good of a shot as I'd like to because I don't want to damage it and I'm wondering of there is another step to disassembly that I'm over looking.

Any info appreciated.

Uwell Aeglos pod mod kit review by hittman

Back again. Today with a review on the Uwell Aeglos pod mod kit that was sent to me in order to do a fair and honest review by Sourcemore. I know some of you are thinking “Oh great, yet another pod device”. While it is true that the market is saturated with pod devices, once in a while you come across one that stands out a little bit from the crowd. I believe that the Aeglos is one that stands out a little. Every device has one or two things that one might prefer changed and this one is no different in that case but for the performance given, I think it’s worth taking a look at. I’m getting a little ahead of myself so will stop there for now and get down to the contents and specifications first.

First Impressions:

Once again as in many other reviews, the packaging is pretty standard. An outer sleeve that slides off revealing a box with a slip off top and the contents neatly displayed inside. Included in the kit is the Aeglos device, one pod with the .23 ohm coil for DTL pre-installed, a .8 ohm coil for MTL, a USB-C charging cable, some o rings, and a user manual.

Having only seen pictures online prior to receiving this for review, I didn’t realize that the body of the device is in fact square and not rectangular as I had thought. It’s not heavy and it’s not light. The Aeglos has a nice feel in the hand with the tapered corners and has to me just the right weight for a device like this. At first glance, you might think it doesn’t have airflow control but in fact it does. I’ll talk more about that later.

From top to bottom, the .96 inch OLED screen displays POW with the battery meter beside it. Next is the wattage setting in large type followed by VOLT, COIL, TIME, and PUFF. The fire button is above the screen while the + and – buttons are below like many other devices. The charging port is on the bottom and with the USB-C charging, the 1500mah battery will charge in about an hour. Also on the bottom are three vent holes which I’ve noticed lately doing so many reviews that some devices do not have venting like this one does.

The menu system is fairly simple. Five clicks of the fire button will turn the device on and off. The Aeglos does have an 8 second cutoff if the fire button is not released. Pressing the fire button and the – button will completely lock or unlock the device from adjustment or firing. Pressing the fire button and the + button will lock or unlock only the + and – buttons keeping you from adjusting the wattage but will still fire. To reset the puff counter then press the + and – buttons simultaneously.

upload_2021-1-3_12-9-56.jpg

I tried the preinstalled coil first which was the .23 which I liked at 40 watts with the airflow mostly open. The flavor produced was very good with a large quantity of vapor for a pod mod. I have been known to take shorter puffs than some but got about 220 puffs on a full charge. The .8 coil was run at 16 watts with the airflow closed down to about 1/3 for an airy MTL that I really enjoyed. At that setting I was able to get right around 400 puffs before having to recharge. As you can see in the picture, the Aeglos does in fact have an airflow adjustment but it is hidden underneath the pod so the pod has to be removed in order to turn the airflow adjustment. Some will grunt and groan at this but to me it’s not a big deal. I normally set the airflow on a device and leave it there or at least it’s very seldom adjusted after the initial time. With the airflow completely closed, it’s still a fairly airy MTL so those looking for the super tight MTL probably won’t like this.

upload_2021-1-3_12-9-56.jpg

One feature that I like very much is how the pod is filled. It is basically the same as the Xros if you are familiar with that one. You simply tilt the mouthpiece to one side to expose the fill port. Not only is there a fill port but it is self-sealing once the tip of the bottle is removed. In the center is where the coil is so do not drip liquid there. Opposite of the fill port is a simple air hole to let air escape while filling so the liquid doesn’t back up on you.

Final Thoughts:

I very much enjoyed using the Uwell Aeglos. It is comfortable to hold and performs very well in flavor and vapor production. I know it’s only a 1500mah battery but it seemed to last quite some time for me.

I found the display to be bright and easily visible. That along with the simple interface and controls made it a pleasure to use. That being said, the only real downside that I can see to this device is that the pod has to be removed to adjust the airflow. I’m just glad that they put the thought into it to actually include an airflow control. For me, that feature makes or breaks many pod devices.

I found the pod on the unit I received to be very tight going on and off and could not see it coming off by accident. I actually had a slight problem inserting it the first couple times but do not any longer. One other nice feature about this device is the patented self-cleaning technology which helps in preventing leaking or condensation build up.

So, would I recommend it? If you are looking for a solid pod mod that will do DTL and airy MTL with great flavor and vapor production then Yes! I have to admit that this one surprised me. It seems like I’ve tried so many pod mods but this one does stand out a little. Hopefully I’ve shared enough to help my make a decision as to whether this might be a good kit to add to your vaping arsenal.

As always, thanks to Sourcemore and Lilia for sending the Uwell Aeglos pod mod kit for review. Also thanks to my dedicated readers. You know who you are. Below is a link to the device on the Sourcemore website and they have been nice enough to allow me to include a coupon code for new registered customers that will get you 8% off sitewide.

Fun Fact: I've wondered where the companies come up with the names for these devices. I did a little googlefu and found that the name Aeglos means " snow point" and is a reference to a weapon used by someone in the Lord of the Rings trilogy. Anyway, now you know.

Your biggest disappointment in 2020?

So which RDA, RTA or RDTA are your biggest disappointments in 2020?

Digiflavor Etna RDA
I had high hopes for this little atty. It looked good on paper, but it's lack of flavor compared to my other MTL RDAs is a huge bummer.

VaperzCloud Asgard Mini RDA
I'm a huge fan of the Pulse V2 RDA, so I thought I'd give this similarily designed atty a shot.
Flavor is nice, but not mind-blowing and its 510 pin in drip mode is leaky.
I can live with the latter and use it in squonk mode instead.
It's biggest con is the non existant juice well though. That abomination of an atty is bigger than most of my other RDAs, but needs to be resquonked after just 2 vapes. My Pulse V2 RDAs beat the Asgard in absolutely every single aspect. Except build quality perhaps, which is only right on par. For a third of the price.

Wotofo nexMESH Pro tank

nexMESH Pro Tank Review

This tank was sent to my from Health Cabin for the purpose of this review. This is the second version of the nexMESH subohm tank, and it's called the nexMESH Pro.

.

This is a full sized, mid to high wattage tank that can also transform into a single coil RTA. The rebuildable base is a separate purchase and comes in a few different colors at the base. I'll be going over my experiences with it solely as a subohm tank.

.

.

What's included:

  • nexMESH Pro Tank
  • H15 Mesh & Parallel Coil Combo Head (pre-installed)
  • H12 Clapton Mesh Coil Head
  • Bubble Glass Tube
  • Accessory Bag
  • User Manual
.

.

The nexMESH Pro tank:

It's 24mm at the base but immediately flares out for the AFC ring. Above that is some decorative knurling, and it flares out even more under the glass section. It comes with a 6ml bubble glass and a 4.5ml PCTG strait tube. I see more and more companies offer these which is nice I guess. It's less prone to cracking or breaking. On the inside of the tank there's a "cage" like section where your coil slides into. The only visible branding is on one of the four sides of that cage part. It's minimal.

The top cap is a slide to fill style which I normally don't care for. This one however is on a railing which isn't as bad as the Fireluke 2/M Pro types. It doesn't slide open as freely which results in less leaks. I prefer quarter turn top caps or just threaded, but that's just me. The fill opening is marked with a dot. Mine looks silver while the rest of the tank is black. When slid open there's an elongated fill hole (with the flaps or "membrane"), but also an escape hole on the other side. That's a smaller hole for the air to escape. I haven't any trouble filling it.

One thing I'd like to mention is the fill gasket seems to be trapped under the slider. There's no way that I've found to get it out. I don't like that. I've had it on other tanks and there should be a way to get at it. It means it's not replaceable. It can't be thoroughly cleaned and water can possibly get trapped in places.

The drip tip is a black delrin 810 styled with o rings on it. It's kind of beefy but nice to vape from. Here's a photo of the tank taken apart completely.

.

.

The coils:

Wotofo is offering some coils we've seen before but also some that are pretty unique. The ones that come with the tank are a combination coil and a clapton mesh. The combo coil has two holes and uses wire and mesh in concert. The clapton mesh isn't mesh at all. It's squiggly little micro clapton wires that are held together on each end.

Also available are a conical woven mesh, a conical nexMESH, a triple mesh, and 4 hole combination coil. I like the variety.

These coils are threadless and slide in and out of the tank without any screwing. They fit a bit snug but don't get totally stuck. I've had zero leaking.

.

#H15: Single mesh & Parallel coil .15Ω (Best: 65-80W)

This coil came pre-installed. I've never seen something like this so I was curious to see how it'd perform. I had watched some reviews on YouTube and most of them sort of cast this coil aside. I vaped it primarily at 70W and got good to above average flavor. Dual coils like this can sometimes be restrictive but this one isn't. The tank has a massive amount of airflow. I only had it half open. I enjoyed this one but was curious about the one in the box.

Here's what the Single Mesh & Parallel Coil actually looks like.

.

.

#H12 Clapton Mesh coil .2Ω (Best: 55-75W)

Wotofo has done something unique here. They've made a clapton wire coil vape like a mesh coil in terms of response time. It fires quickly and the flavor is great. It's more saturated and warm compared to your usual mesh coils. It vapes like a clapton coil which it is essentially. The flavor is better than the combination coil. 55W isn't enough power IMO. It starts to really come alive around 70W. I used it at 75, with the airflow about 1/3 open. Like I said, this is a really airy tank.

I tried to take a magnified picture of what the Clapton Mesh looks like before I used it.

.

.

Other Available coils:

.

.

Specs and features:

  • Tank Size: 24 x 42.85mm (without drip tip & 510 pin)
  • Tank Capacity: 4.5ml straight PCTG tube / 6ml bubble glass tube (with single coil replacement head)
  • 3.5ml straight PCTG tube / 5ml bubble glass tube (with dual coil replacement head)
  • Drip Tip: 810 Delrin Drip Tip
  • Wattage Range: 50-80W
  • Filling Method: top filling
  • Airflow Type: adjustable bottom airflow
  • Net Weight: 72±3g
  • Colors Available: Black, SS, Gunmetal, Gold, Blue, Rainbow
.

.

Conclusion:

The tank is big and built really solidly. The coils operate at a higher wattage than I'm used to. It works well but they didn't need so much airflow IMO. If that's your thing, you'll love this. I like that it has a whole bunch of other coils to choose from. I haven't bought any other packs, but I do have an RBA deck coming frim Fasttech. I'm a huge fan of RBAs. This one though isn't like other RBAs. The whole base and build deck are together. It transforms this subohm tank into a true RTA. I like that they give you options for this tank. I wish all companies would do something like this. Earlier this year coils were scare for popular tanks. With uncertain times ahead, a rebuildable deck makes this tank a bit more "future-proof".

I don't think the older nexMESH coils will fit in this tank. I've read somewhere that coils come in packs of two. I'm not really a fan of three pack coils so two is pushing it a bit. It's my opinion that packs of 4 are alright, 5 even better.

This tank will be nice for a lot of people. It's solid and performs well. For those of you who like higher wattage and big airflow, this could be a solid option. If I try more coils I'll edit in my thoughts. Same goes for the RBA.

Big thanks to Health Cabin for sending this my way, and thanks to anyone who read this review. If you have any questions, I'll do my best to answer.

Your best vape-related purchase of 2020

f2020.jpg

What was the best vaping item you bought in 2020? What was a game changer for you? Sock it to 2020 as only vapers can, by showing off your gear

For me it was my first SBS mod, an Aspire Mixx. I was a 24/7 squonkaholic, as I love low profile setups. The Mixx, along with a bulletproof Dvarw DL gives me that and has reintroduced RTAs into my daily setups.

I'm now a 12/7 squonkaholic and 12/7 Mixxaholic :D

Nevoks - Feelin Pod Kit

Hi ECF members, In this review i take a look at the Feelin Pod Kit from Nevoks. The Feelin Pod Kit was supplied for the purpose of this review by Ivy from Nevoks.

Nevoks Feelin Pod Kit

Introduction

Nevoks are a relatively new manufacturer being founded in 2019 during the beginnings of the pod/AIO trend so have concentrated on such products. The Feelin is a pod device offering different power settings, different airflow options and the choice of either draw or button activation. Coming in 4 colour options i had a good "feelin" about this one so let's check it out!

___________________________________________________________________

In The Box

Contents:

1* Feelin Device
1* Feelin Empty Pod 2.8ml (2ml TPD)
1* SPL-10 Mesh Coil 0.6 Ohm
1* SPL-10 Mesh Coil 1.0 Ohm
1* Type-C Cable
2* User Manual (English, Chinese)
1* Warranty Card

___________________________________________________________________

Aesthetics and Ergonomics

The Feelin comes in cardboard packaging and on opening i was met by a stealthy cuboid pod device with a tactile rubber like coating. The device is plastic but is made well and with that really nice coating certainly doesn't feel cheap. I received the Black version, it's available in Red, Silver, Blue or Black and all colours look nice in my opinion.

Up top we have a protruding pod giving a 360 degree clear viewing window with a comfortable Black mouthpiece that tapers from both sides as well as front and back. The top section on the mouthpiece has the same rubber like TPE coating as we see covering the device. On the face of the device we have a pill shaped indentation which houses a round concave fire button top and then a vertical column of 3 LED lights beneath, the bottom half of the face has "nevoks" embossed into the surface. On one side we have the airflow inlets at the top and then underneath in a vertical position towards the face we have the Type C USB port with printed charge rate specifications. On the rear towards the bottom we have "FEELIN" printed and printed safety marks on the base.

The device is very comfortable in the hand and can easily slip into a pocket making it ideal for on the go!!!

___________________________________________________________________

Feelin Specs and Features:

Size: 99.5*22*18mm
Materials: PC+ABS
Capacity: 2.8ml (TPD 2ml)
Power Range: 10W-22W
Output: 3.3V-4.2V
Battery: 1000mAh
Charging: Type-C5V/1.5A
Resistance: 0.6 & 1.0 Ohm
3 Power levels
Adjustable airflow
Magnetic pod attachment
Colours: Red, Silver, Blue, Black

___________________________________________________________________

The Pod

The Pod is rectangular with a frosted bottom section and clear main section which protrudes outside the device acting as a 360 degree viewing window. To one side on the lower frosted section so it will need removing from the device to fill we have a silicone flap with attached plug which needs lifting to reveal a very generous fill port. The flap has an arrow showing where to lift and sometimes these flaps can be fiddly to either remove, fix back in position or both but on the Feelin pod it removes and secures with ease! Filling is quick and mess free, the capacity is 2.8ml with the standard pod and 2ml with the TPD version.

Up top we have a comfortable mouthpiece so no drip tip allowing your own to be fitted, it slants inwards both front and back as well as from both sides and the inner bore is suited towards either a loose MTL or RDL draw. Moving to the base we have the cylindrical opening for the coil head to be fitted and a small magnet to each corner.

___________________________________________________________________

The Coil Heads

The coil head just gets press fitted into the pod via the cylindrical opening at it's base.

You receive 2 different coils with the kit none of which are pre-installed and both are SPL Mesh coils which has leak resistant technology. You receive a 1.0ohm coil head with narrow internal bore and is rated between 10w to 13w. The other included coil head is the 0.6ohm which has a wider internal bore but still quite narrow being narrower than most coil heads with a similar resistance, this coil head is rated between 18w to 25w.

___________________________________________________________________

Fitting The Pod

Looking inside the pod bay we can see the Gold plated, spring loaded contacts on a slightly raised surround and to one side the airflow tube leading to the membrane switch. We can also see the 3 airflow holes and a magnet to each corner to line up with the ones on the pod.

The pod fits extremely securely giving no movement whatsoever, to remove it needs gripping then give a strong pull, cracking job!

___________________________________________________________________

The Airflow

On the device one side we have three airflow inlet holes which allows air to get to the base of the pod. It is claimed the device has adjustable airflow but it's actually the pod can be put in either way with one way allowing the air full access to the base of the coil while the other has a protruding section which obstructs the airflow inlets to give a tighter draw, you can restrict even further by covering one or two of the airflow inlet holes with a finger or thumb.

___________________________________________________________________

Operating The Feelin

The Feelin is the usual 5 clicks of the fire button to turn on and 5 clicks to turn off and each action is confirmed by the cycling through of the three White LED indicators, bottom to top when switching on and top to bottom when switching off. Once on you can fire the device by pressing the physical button or simply take a draw as the device also offers Auto Draw!

The device has three output settings which are indicated by how many LED's light up after 3 quick clicks of the fire button. Each 3 clicks takes you to the next level and the corresponding LED's stay lit for 2 seconds before fading out. The settings and what they equate to in wattage are the following:

1 Light = 3.1v, 0.6ohm = 18w, 1.0ohm = 10w
2 Lights = 3.4v, 0.6ohm = 19.5w, 1.0ohm = 11.5w
3 Lights = 3.7v, 0.6ohm = 22w, 1.0ohm = 13w

The device also has battery status indication which is shown by how many LED's light up while taking a vape by either using the fire button or by Auto Draw, you can also just give the button a quick click to check at any time. After releasing the fire button or finishing your Auto Draw the LED/LED's stay on for 2 seconds before fading out, the LED indications correspond to the following battery life percentages:

3 Lights = Above 70%
2 Lights = 30% to 70%
1 Light = Below 30%

___________________________________________________________________

Protections:

Overtime Protection
Short Circuit Protection
Overcharge Protection
Over Discharge Protection
Over Temperature Protection
Max Power Protection
Low Voltage Protection

___________________________________________________________________

Charging

The Feelin has Type C USB and a 1.5A charge rate allowing the 1000mAh battery to charge in less than 1 hour while supporting pass-through!

___________________________________________________________________

How It Vapes? And Thoughts!

The Feelin is a cracking little pod device to kick 2021 off with and for someone giving up the stinkies then as long as a reliable supply of coil heads can be sourced then i wouldn't hesitate to recommend this.

On a couple of similar type devices i have reviewed recently the Auto Draw was sketchy so only used with the fire button but the Auto Draw on the Feelin works flawlessly and gives just as good vape as using the physical button.

There is just so much they have got right about this device with no major cons while plenty to like but as ever there are just a few mainly subjective things that are worth mentioning. I don't dislike side-fill but as on this device that usually means needing to remove the pod to fill which i always find a con, also the fire button could do with protruding slightly more but that's being petty as it's easy enough to find and is nice and clicky! Finally we have no visible venting, i am pretty certain this will be made with the unlikely event of thermal runaway in mind and around the USB port is possibly where the device will vent, it's more a piece of mind thing and always prefer to see visible venting holes or slots!

I like that not only the device has 3 different power settings but you can tell the difference in power between each setting, also the battery status indications are nicely spaced out making them fit for purpose. The adjustable airflow is quite crude but does what it says on the tin as the saying goes, put the pod in with the protruding side of the pod against the airflow inlets for a tighter draw and with the open side of the pod for a looser draw. With the 0.6ohm coil head the looser draw is a tight RDL while the tighter draw a loose MTL, when using the 1.0ohm coil head the looser draw offers a loose MTL while more of a medium MTL with the tighter draw but you can also use your finger or thumb to part cover the inlets for an even tighter MTL if you wish!

The flavour from both coil heads i found very similar and while it didn't blow me away i had no complaints and for a little pod device the flavour is more than acceptable, also however you have the airflow the draw is very smooth. What impressed me more was both the longevity of the coil heads as i have lost count of how many refills the pod had over the Christmas and New Years period but also how efficient both coil heads are with e-liquid consumption. Another big pros is battery life, 1000mAh is excellent capacity for such a small device but it just seemed so much better than that even with the 0.6ohm coil head so with the 1.0ohm coil head it just seemed to keep going, when the battery eventually did run down recharging in less than an hour while supporting pass-through is non too shabby!!!!

Being able to see the e-liquid level at all times is another pro as is the TPE coating which gives both nice hand feel and makes the mouthpiece feel very nice between the lips. A question most ask regarding pod/AIO/pod mod devices is whether they leak and i can confirm i have had no leaking whatsoever, a few condensation spots but definitely no leaking as any slight moisture as been clear and i have been using a dark high VG juice

The Feelin in my opinion is not just ideal for new vapers but also a good upgrade (yes, upgrade!) option from the original Caliburn or similar device!

Voopoo Argus Pod system kit review by hittman

Welcome. Today I will be taking a look at the Voopoo Argus pod mod kit that was sent to me by Health Cabin for the purpose of doing a fair and honest review. I am very familiar with the Voopoo product line due to having already written reviews on the Voopoo Drag X and Argus GT. Prior to that I already had purchased multiples of the Argus GT, PNP pod tanks, and a few other items. I most likely won’t go too far in depth on the PNP pods but will give links to prior reviews for those that are not yet familiar with them. First, let’s see what’s included and see some pictures.

First Impressions:

The packaging on the Argus Pod kit is what I would call average. It has an outer sleeved cardboard box and a slide out box that exposes a white cover that exposes the Argus Pod device, a standard PNP pod, a MTL PNP pod, two PNP coils, USB-C charging cable, and user manual. I received the blue model and quite like the looks of the device. As I mentioned earlier, I am quite familiar with the PNP line of tanks and coils as I’ve been using them in rotation on different devices for some time.

The mod itself is made of a metal alloy and leather. It is quite small and can be almost hidden in the hand. I’m not sure why they put the metal lanyard clip on the device. To me it’s a bit annoying and hits my hand when trying to fire the unit. The mod also has the slide style airflow adjustment that is used on many of the Voopoo devices such as the Drag Max and Drag X.

The interface is quite simple on this device. At the top it shows the battery level followed by power setting in clear and fairly large text, then below that is the mode, resistance, and puffs.

The mod is turned on and off by pressing the fire button five times. There are two modes P (manual) and A (double ignition mode). The double ignition mode means that it is designed to fire using the button or there is an auto draw feature. On the unit that I received, I wasn’t particularly impressed with the auto draw. With the MTL pod, I felt like I really had to draw hard in order to activate it even with the airflow control completely closed. It actually seemed to work a little better with the standard PNP pod. To clear the puff counter, press the fire button and the – button. To lock the unit, press the fire and + buttons. The mod cannot be fired when it’s locked. Charging of the 1500mah built in battery is done with a USB-C cable that is included and charges at 5V/1A.

The standard PNP pod holds 4.5ml while the MTL PNP pod holds 2ml. There was a .3 ohm coil included for the standard pod and a 1.2 ohm coil for the MTL pod. I found both coils to produce good flavor and vapor production as I would have expected having used other PNP coils. I switched back and forth between the two pods during my use of the Argus. That is one feature that is nice about the PNP tanks is you can quickly switch between them. One thing that I thought was strange was as you can see in the picture above that it shows a .3 coil and a 1.0 coil. That is not what was included in my kit. I received a .3 and a 1.2 coil. The user manual even says 1.2. I’m thinking it was just a type error on the picture.

Final Thoughts:

I really liked the size and simple function of the Argus Pod kit. I felt like the 1500mah battery lasted a fairly long time. With the MTL pod the battery lasted a very long time. With the .3 coil running at around 32 watts it lasted about a half of a day.

I really don’t like the metal clip on the mod above the fire button. I feel like if that was going to be included then maybe it could have been placed on the back side or just left off.

Like I mentioned before, I have quite a bit of experience with the PNP tanks and coils. I have always thought that they produced very good flavor. It has been my experience that most of the PNP coils seep some liquid over time if the mod is not being used so I tend to leave the pod off if I’m not going to use it for an extended period. After about a week or so of use I did have some minor seepage from the .3 coil but did not from the 1.2 coil.

One other issue that I experienced a few times was that I would get either a low power or low resistance message when trying to fire the unit. I am thinking this was from the liquid seepage since it only happened with the .3 coil in the standard PNP pod and after doing a quick wipe down inside where the pod seats, it was operational again. Besides that, I did not experience any other issues.

Would I recommend this device to you? Maybe. I know some others have no seepage issues with the PNP coils but I have. It’s never a big deal that a paper towel can’t handle but may annoy some more than others. I think I’m going to stay neutral on this one. You were looking for a fair and honest review so there it is.

Mongrel RDA by Damn Vape

A new rda was released recently, it's called the Mongrel RDA by Damn Vape. It has a unique airflow design, as well as an included glass cap. I ordered one and it should be delivered by Wednesday. I was wondering if anyone has tried it yet.

The sleeve for the airflow gives you options for the amount of air you want hitting the coil. I am curious to see how it works. Reviews thus far seem good.

Hi from Scotland

...and a Happy New Year to you all.
Been vaping for about ten years. Stopped me smoking cigarettes instantly.
Started with basic pen kit, tried various pens and liquids.
VIP in UK supplies liquids and most equipment, find their liquid smoother than others.

HOWEVER...:)...Eleaf mini stick has been my preferred choice for couple of years.
Wore thread down on second one now and after some research I find that the threads are soft, so will not be buying another one.

Can anyone recommend a replacement?
Not looking for thick clouds, just an experience similar to smoking cigarette.
Size of the Eleaf mini suits me, looking for better battery life though.
Mini has 1050mAh, so 2000mAh would be fine.
Looked at Vaporesso Gen Nano. Any thoughts or advice?
Thanks

New Member Recommendation for X Priv Batteries/Tank?

Hey Guys!

I've been getting back into vaping since getting sober. When I first stopped using, I was smoking a couple packs a day of rollies then I went to the juul, then the caliburn now I'm on the x-priv. I vaped a couple years ago on some sort of Smok Pen and then a Smok Tank but I bricked it and went back to cigs.

Now that I own a business and have a 9 to 5, I'm excited because money isn't too much of a limiting factor here. Here is what I am looking at in terms of tanks

I was looking at something for Nic Salts on the priv, since I have two bottles of juice I have to use up of Nic Salt. I saw some solid options, it looks like I have to just lower the wattage and swap the tank. Should I use certain batteries if I get a tank like this? Does anyone have any experience with this sort of tank and which one might be the best?

I also was looking at tanks to replace the one that came stock, but the guy at the smoke shop said it was a really good tank and it didn't really matter if I got a different one. I've always been weary about the info smoke shop workers give me, I've continually got contradicting info.

For batteries I have the AWT IMR 18650 3.7V 3500 MAH 35A High Drain. These were the ones he said were best at the smoke shop. I've been looking at getting some high end samsung options along with a battery recharger. What would be the best possible option? Do I need different batteries for different coils/Nic Salt vaping?

Sorry for the vomit of info/questions, I'm excited to get back into things!

What's the oldest nic base you've ever used?

@RichardV posted in another thread that he recently cracked open an bottle of nic from his freezer that's been stored since 2012. So that's 8+ years old. He says it was as clear as he remembers it and doesn't seem to have lost potency.

So what's the oldest, freezer-stored nic base you've used and what was your impression of it?
