Im thinking about modding a spare disrupter battery next week.
Nothing crazy.
Im just gonna tape off the inside of the battery and the charging light then plug up the usb port and paint it.
Im thinking Spaz Stix color changing paint in green/purple and teal like this.
Will post pics and maybe even write up a tutorial if I do it.

And really it was shipped OK just should of had bubble wrap inside of the case itself and everything would of been perfect @Innokin_Ash

I just ordered a couple new InnoCells for my disrupter - this time black and purple. Right now Vaporider has them for $12.95, so I couldn't resist.
I have also ordered up another cell, this time green. The prices for the cells and mods are dropping at many vendors. I just saw one place you can buy the entire unit for 29.95....Cannot recall the site but they are located in Austin TX.
I have had to recharge several times now and have noticed the cell when first placed under charge will get rather hot then the temp tapers off as it charges. I would say the first 10 minutes is the warmest. All 3 of my cells do this so I assume it is just the nature of the charging process.Probably a dumb question, but this is my very first VW box mod.
Is it OK to keep this thing plugged in during use (as a passthrough)?
It gets a tad warm (not hot, just slightly warm), but I dunno if that's just my hot atty transferring some heat to the metal casing. I have my atty sitting not flush (shhh, don't tell the mod fashion police) just in case it's bad for the mod. It's cool (not warm) when I'm not vaping on it.
As for pass through I cannot comment, I never will use that method but if you are placing the cell under charge and vaping directly once attached, take what I just mentioned above as an answer to your question.
What would have been the best method, is to ship the cells and devices in the original packaging and ship the case empty in a separate package.
Sounds like the case and contents were not the fail. It sounds like one more step in the packing and shipping and all would be well!! I think the case was one of the biggest attractions to the contest and would still be for future contests!! And way to go @ChiBear85 for your maturity and gratitude with handling this matterThat's a shame.

Hey guys! Been a busy week at work so I haven't been around very much. Can't wait to see pics, @ChiBear85, sucks that they weren't packaged better, but like others have said, you are handling it well!

. Purple and aquamarine are least of my favs but I will still get them. I still have yet to get the silver Disrupter to complete the series.
