Somewhere out there
Yeah I will do.
I made a schoolboy error though when he was outside smoking cigs a while ago he happened to ask me about them out of interest and I told I'm that I make my own.
I never thought it would come to anything and when he asked 'but what about nicotine' I told him 'I've got plenty, 2.5 gallons'.
I feel foolish but there was never any thought that he would start.
You gave him a chance to switch, now he can learn all about everything here and stock up :)

A guy I work with on one day has finally began his journey
Off the smokes 3 days so far. Nice chat with him, he wants me to start making his juice for him and make a little profit. I don't want to do that and I think 9 litres of nic sounds like a more to him than me.
More importantly though, how long before I mention the dreaded legislation? The fact he needs an rta, some nic, and a mod with removable batteries.
Gotta c if he really enjoys it first before he gets bombarded.

We're in the UK, and everyone has no idea what's happening still really. I heard a date from one company and another company told me not to worry for a good while.

You're fortunate to be in the UK. A far more vape friendly government than in the US, with support within the medical establishment as well. Even with the TPD, you still have access and most manufacturers are staying in business. In the US, between both federal and state governments, it's looking pretty grim. I'm already planning to get stuff in the future from there if the US market really dries up.

I'm less concerned about the nic with plenty put away, and I have stocked quite a bit of hardware, but if and when new hardware is developed, I'd like the chance to use them as well. There's always Fasttech, but who knows if one day US Customs get aggressive about it.

I think we need to come up some type of holding jig while we fiddle with screws and such :)
I have an old Lambo (which like the Vamo can check resistance without firing). Sitting at my desk, with the Lambo in a little plastic stand I use, it comes to about the right height to work on.

I was thinking of getting one of those Geekvape/Coilmaster TABs to build on. Could also maybe get a jig for working on watches.
This is one of the Best Things that I have bought in the last 5 Years.

I like this style because you can Flip Up the lens. And it not like you are walking Under Water when you get up to Grab Something.
I bought something like that a while back. It's very heavy and awkward for me to use. I just use cheaters instead. I can always get stronger ones as my eyes get worse.
Having trouble picturing these. Are they like glasses with magnifying lenses?
Cheaters? They're also called Readers. They're just reading glasses. The non-prescription reading glasses you can buy at the grocery store. You can buy them online with even higher magnification
Yeah... I use it for All Kinds of things. I have one sitting near my Desk where I build Coils. And another one out in the Garage hanging on my Roll-Away.

The LED is kinda Weak on the El-Cheap-O brand that I have. But that is OK. Because I use this 18650 LED light anyway.

I love it! Where did you get it?
What is ready made base?
For me it's a liter of 6mg 70/30 that I can just put in my tank and vape. :)
When you said ready made base, I thought you meant you just mixed the nic, PG, and VG together ahead of time to add or not add flavoring to at your leisure. That's what I do.

I'll be doing that a head of time as well. Just don't want to open any bottles just yet. I know it doesn't seem to make sense. I'm like at times.

Hell we can't even vape at the beach !

I guess we'll have to wait and see what the climate is like about vaping after August 8th. In the meantime I plan on keeping my mouth shut. No big vape parties for my paranoid self. I already feel like a criminal with a freezer full of 100mg/ml nicotine
There's something else — profoundly ugly — but possible. It may be that in the future, the FDA and/or states manage to "deem" possession of vaping gear and eliquids to be a crime. That's when you really don't want anyone to know about your stash.

Except for here, and my wife, no one else knows what I've got. BTW, ECF is a website that's across the pond, and there's no personal information stored there which could lead the BATF or your state heavies to you. My wife is my wife.
You notice that on the thread Curious about the stockpilling, show it! people seem to be getting a little nervous about showing it all. I know I am. I'm more worried about telling anyone face-to-face, that knows where I live, than I am about anything more legal.

I'm starting to have doubts about my Deeming Party idea.
How to Make a Carto Tank- Keep handy for Dark Ages of Vape :)

Thank you! I love it! I heard about it soon after I started on ECF. But, by the time I decided to try it, vendors had already started selling them premade.
@Down-Time - Yes, if you're getting cartos you'll need at least 1-2 carto tanks. You'll also either need to make sure your cartos are pre-punched (it will say if they are or not) or buy a carto punch tool (easy to use) to do it yourself. :)
I have a bunch that are punched. But, I also have a bunch that aren't. The unpunched can be used with or without a tank.
Speaking of carto tanks:rolleyes:

Awesome buy on carto IBTanks considering how much they used to cost!!

IBTanked random color

Yes, I got..... a few :w00t:
I hope they have some left Friday when I get paid. This is the second time they're had this deal. I didn't have the cash on hand the first time.
Those are pretty cool. I never used a carto. How are they compared to dripping on a 510 atty? Well, I'm already going to be stocking up on 510 atties on top of everything else. I guess I don't need to be worried about stocking up on cartos as well. I just feel like I missed so much over the years, staying with 510 dripping the whole time, lol. Now I feel like I want to catch up on it all!
Nothing is better than dripping! You're not missing anything. Carto-tanks just hold more, but don't have quite the same flavor as dripping (although not bad compared to some clearos).

I love carto-tanks. They can be incredible. But, they can also be a pain. Cartos are not the most dependable. It's very frustrating to get a carto primed and the tank all filled and ready to go then find out the carto is garbage.
I found some old tanks I think we're smoketech and took replaceable coil heads like Vivi Nova, but worked better. Anyone remember those? I have a bunch of coils for them too! So I am set for Golden age LOL
What year? Top or bottom fill? Top or bottom coil? Picture, please.

If you live in high humidity area it isnt a bad idea to keep the stuff dry. I wouldnt open any packages. I would just put all the sealed boxes in a big Rubbermaid Tote and toss a couple of cheap clay desiccant packs in the tote. Toss in one small pack of indicator silica to let you know when to change the clay out. Odds are the packs will last years before needing to be swapped out. If you truly do keep the humidity low in your house, you may never need to change them out.
I live in NW New Mexico, and unless it rains (just joking) our relative humidity runs from 8% to somewhere around 15%. Last time I checked my gun box, every single indicator was pink. Since the were all in metal boxes I couldn't microwave them, and replaced every little bag of silica gel. My little jar with silica gel for my hearing needs to be cooked every few weeks.

 I'm the type that as soon as he asked "but what about nicotine" I'd have gotten dumb as a doorknob. It's been my experience those type of questions have another meaning for asking behind it.

I'm a little concerned about humidity because I have 2 reef aquariums downstairs near where all my gear is and because I have to mix saltwater in 5 gallon buckets with loose covers indoors. My dilemma is that so far I have left 9 new provaries completely unwrapped because I am hoping the original wrapper will keep them dry better than no wrapper. The problem with this of course is that I have not tested the units to make sure that they work. It would not be good to open the first one in a few years and find that it had problems from the factory and I never knew.

Should I open and verify them all? I do have a pelican case that I could put them in after opening them but I sometimes use that for camera gear while kayaking. It has o-rings and is completely water tight. Somehow ziplock bags doesn't sound like a good idea. I could put desiccant in with them in a ziplock I guess. I dunno.

Well get them tested. I run every new device for at least a week as a backup before it can go in the stash.

Yeah that's fair enough. I would usually think that way but the guy is cool. I think he just wants to 'help' me out by buying juice from me though. Good idea guys. I'll wait till next week, see how he's getting on and if he's enjoying them I'm gonna send him your way so you can help him like I have been helped. Cheers
