How does she vape compared to a braid?

Thankyou mate :) its defo a keeper Wharf, its a 5loop of 0.15mm n80 over 3x26g A1kanthal, 3mm id at 0.15ohms.
I want you to make one and you can tell me how it compares cuz my superman tastebuds think most builds taste good :)
Its really hard to compare, getting tons of flavour and clouds as per useal as with most braids tried, its just a allround solid build, what i mean by solid is that i can use it either mech or regulated where as the Fishtail i preferred on a reg orelse its lighting to fast imo.
I have it in my v2 Alliance which is prob the same as a TM and it was scrubbing the sides of the post holes, i would have struggled for space with a four wrap for sure, i dont like to cram wraps in.

Starting to get better at building coils and wicking. I used more wick this time (as suggested by you people) and it's tight and snug against the metal. Noticing that makes a huge difference when pulling on the vape for cloud evenness and quality. I did a between the post build at .5 ohms using a '25' size on my coil builder. Not too sure what that number means yet. Working good just re-juiced and vaped away. =)

Nice :)

if it says 25 on your coil winder i expect it means the id(inside diameter) of your coil is 2.5mm.

Looks like your using a regulated mod so the ohms of the coil dont really matter, just set your power to your liking and vape away as you are doing :)

I was thinking of getting the Vortex rda myself, but i'm not sure on the distance it has between the posts, it looks pretty tight for the coils i make, what gauge wire is that you are using?

I'm looking for another 2 post rda to replace my phenotype-l's that broke on me, the screws started jamming up in the post holes in both rda's so i doubt i will buy another, is a shame as i really liked the phen-L.

I'm really enjoying a single coil in particular, i have 24g wrapped in SS mesh with a 5loop of 35g weaved over the top, hence the reason for a two post atty with plenty of room, i may just buy another Temple rda but the 24mm version but really wanted something 20 or 22mm.

i will post a pic of that coil...

I think this wire is 28 gauge but am not that sure. It may be someplace between 24-28. Wish I had a small micro-meter to give you a measurement on the distance like you said between the posts. The 3.0 wire setting would have make the coil apparatus too big and I wasn't sure if it would short out the build or heat the posts to a point of failure. I'm within paper thickness tolerance between the posts.

That happened to me before on my velocity clone. One of the screw heads misthreaded inside the post hole and wouldn't come loose with any force. I find if I spend over $50-60 on a rda it will be quality where the screws won't misthread. I've found that Vapor DNA storefront has lots of quality RDAs to look at.

Yeah some of the braided stuff wont fit between two posts that are gonna be close on a 3mm id coil, i use 2.5id normally and the wire is about 2.5mm so thats 7.5mm when counting the id plus two sides of the coil.

I ordered a couple of 24mm Temples earlier, they will fit nicely on top of my boxes and accommodate mostly every build, plus if the 30mm is anything to go by they will be built like tanks :)

Look at the Tsunami....two post velocity style, with kennedy style airflow. It's my current favorite rda

Thanks for the suggestion but apart from not being to keen on bottom airflow, the posts look quite close plus i will be wanting to do single coils as well as duels and the airflow would kind of be in the wrong place plus not adjustable by the looks. :)

This is a simple 24g Nichrome build in my Griffin after vaping 100mls of VG thru it...no dry hits or leaks.. Getting ready to make a flavor change with new cotton..

This is a simple dual parallel 26g build in my Dark Horse.. vapes great on my BFM mech..I like keeping my builds simple and easy, lol

Great shots of well used coils :) how long did it take you to burn through your 100ml of juice?

Very clean, good job :)

I see you have it running on the cricket, what ohms is she?
Was around 0.6 if I remember correctly. That build is long since gone, I've hit a rough patch building lately, all my Velocity have lose screws and can only half work with a single parallel. My Twisted Messes is jumping ohms. 6 months exclusively dripping and I am burnt. RDAs crapping out, builds becoming lackluster due to it. Ordered Griffin, Cubis and Cuboid. I may take a hard break. I feel dripping took an obsession and I just got burnt out on coiling, wicking, keeping juice. May go back to premade tanks for a while. Return to dripping later.

3 or 4 days.....lol
No need to wrap new coils when used ones hit great! I do change cotton occasionally when I change flavors like that cotton shown in the Griffin..that's after 100mls and was still vaping great..

If its just that the grub screws have worn out and rounded off and you need to replace them m3x3 fit both my Velocity and TM, cheap as chips on ebay, although i'd probably go for m3x4 or m3x5 on the grubs for the TM.
Ive burnt myself out twice now on the coil making, once when i got my first rda i was recoiling atleast 5x a day and the other time was about the time or just after the alien coils were invented, i still find it hard to motivate myself now, i get all my coil making gear out and normally sit there thinking for way to long before putting it all back away.
To save yourself rewicking as often try some rayon, just make sure you wick it tight so that the rayon sort of squeaks as you pull it through, i left some in my Aromamizer for about 4-5 weeks before rewicking and tbh i coulda/shoulda left it in longer as it was still clean when i pulled it, if it wasnt for a bit of crud on the coil that was also being ejected onto the wick tails then yeah i would have left her. :)

I used to think the Aromamizer guzzled untill i got the Griffin but 100ml in 3-4 days Wow!
admittedly the Grif has a smaller tank but you wouldnt use that much in an rda in 3-4 days im sure, its hilarious, i bet the people selling juice are loving it!
Thats why i try to do cooler builds in the rta's, and not cus i buy juice but cus i cant be bothered to keep making it, at first i found it hard to hit a happy medium, i didnt wanna guzzle juice but at the same time you need something half pokey to match the Griffins performance orelse there isnt much point. :)

i have this in mine atm-->Coil wrapping

My first Rda was brutal. 26g. Found 22g is best for me. Hardest part is wicking, but with good screws I can do fine. When they're shorting it and I'm tossing wire in the trash only to realize its the rda not my building, it's murderous. If I'm in a rough mood, I'll waste wire and waste it just trying to get a dual going. On a good day, plenty of sleep and right frame of mind, I will pop off a build like above for my Cricket. So its a mood and focus thing. Dead grubs ruin that.

Just got the Griffin an hour ago. Oh my god. This is the rta i wanted the Aromamizer v1 to be. Better flavor than my rdas. For now anyway. Soooo thick. It feels like a mouth full of flavor. Not just warm cloud.

Edit, emergency help, I just refilled the Griffin and it is leaking everywhere, I think I did the juice flow correctly I don't know why it's leaking now what do I do? I just lost half a tank , i used top fill.
