Thanks for that. Had a quick look and all looks ok except the 510 screw just doesnt make it far enough in to bit on the threading on the bottom of the deck...bizarre. I thought the screw might be sheared but it looks the right size....

Help me out. You're the first person I've seen with one of these. I saw a link for "PTFE wicks" on the Smokerstore site. Can't be 'wicks' like cotton/rayon/mesh, right? What's going on here? I am confuse.

I'm far from the first but thanks for the compliment :D I couldn't get the PTFE wicks to work. After I read the "Manual" Come to find out I didn't add the cotton "hat" to the top of the base. I use mesh for mine and it's stunning, but with that being said here is the manual http://www.smokerstore.de/epages/61925514.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/61925514/Products/37000.

It shows all the ways to install wick PTFE tubes and how each one wicks :) Here also is a video showing what it going on

Yea I hear you, I seem even expensive gear has it's load of issues....I got one more comming...but than I'm gonna quite for a while, cause they don't seem without their issues. I don't mind paying premium prices, but I expect a premium product with excellent QC in return...appararantly they can not make it happen...so I am a bit put off by this....maybe I should just go for mass market products....

It does make one think abouyt this whole 'high-end' thing. One thing about the boutique gear is the customer service that is uniformly fantastic in my experience (which is, sadly, substantial now, particularly the returns/repairs departments!!).

Why hi-end:
1. Pride
2. 99% times better fit & finish
3. Superb customer service
4. 75% times life-time warranty
5. Peace of mind

Seems like every piece of vape gear I buy at the moment has an issue. My DNA200 mod arrived DOA and now the Spheroid v4 has a spinning 510 screw and is totally unusable. Is it possible to disassemble the base unit or is it press fit...?? Im getting tired of this....:(
Sorry to hear that, but I must agree - luck's a spoil sport with you :( I have every GP gear since their beginnings, beta test them as well, I have NEVER found an issue with any.

Absolutely agree. I love them but it gets a bit frustrating when there are problems, particularly in my recent history where is seems like everything i get has an issue. Always gets fixed or replaced no problems at all. there are greater problems in the world than a few faulty atties/mods and I will survive! My DNA200 is fixed and should be back today and, as I said, Miroslav, Perseas et al at GP are looking after me (as are all my firends on ECF!!).

I think they are as confused as I am. Great that hey send a replacement before getting the original back. Its nice to see some trust in the world!! I will have to take time off work to get it sent back today but am determined to do it as they have been so helpful!

ps. in spite of the problem, it is a beautiful little device. I can see it becoming a favourite as it seems to be for you my friend!!

I'm sure you will love it. Its began my favorite as well.
1 hundred % right.
I've nearly stopped using anything else, not looking for anything else either ~ am vaping just my two Spheroid4s nowadays.
Easy to fill, easy to rewick, and longitivity of the wick (am going 10-15 tanks before I rewick) takes the precedence here.

The Queen has been dethroned??!!
I think yes. It's been over 3-4 months that I haven't touched them (six of them).
Ps.: But I believe in 21mm for 18xxx batteries, so it'd remain in the frontline alongwith the GEM always.
