I do have a question. Which is your pick for top flavor producer? I don't care how hard the build is or how much airflow it has.

Absolutely agreed brother. I ought to throw it away - but this VS-DNA40 is so consistent and reliable that I'm unable to. It's the best mod to test attys which are 22mm+. For 21 & under I have the WAEs, which are in pristine condition. Thought of buying a Sharkskin ($9) ~ but the $20 shipping is keeping me away :)
I say keep it. I love my Vapershark and will never part with it they are just a great device.

Bad paint job or not :)

Ahhh! I just received mine in the mail two days ago. Still cleaning it out before I give it a first build, but I'm mighty imprsssed by the craftsmanship here, folks. This is an rta where, although I must say it might not measure up to actually costing 200 dollars in reality, is a real looker upon first glance, and one can tell some time and effort went into it. @TheotherSteveS I know you have or had one. Did the afc ring work only when everything else was tightened down as much as possible, or is mine a dud? My afc won't budge at all unless everything above it is as screwed in as can be
dude,

check out Todds review at around 4:15 - he basically has the same experience with his. I still havent tried mine yet...

Thanks for pointing that out for me @TheotherSteveS I hasn't even stopped to notice that in his review. Yet on yours, it turns without hassle? You know what, I just sent it back to the company a couple days ago because if I'm going to spend $200(insane price for this rta. Machining is flawless but the price should be along the lines of phenom rtas IMHO) I expect few to absolutely no flaws with it. The afc not working properly is a huge downside for me. A vaper is working with it daily, therefore, if you're bothered by little flaws like me, it'll always be in the back of your mind

No problem buddy! I just rebuilt mine and checked and it does rotate ok when disassembled. To be honest it is the sort of thing that would irritate me beyond belief and I really don't blame you for sending it back. Their CS is excellent in my experience so I'm sure they will sort it out. They have had some QC issues with these things apparently. My plastic tank didnt fit at all and they ended up sending me two replacements!! Let us know how you get on :)

cheers

Hope you like it friends :)

Absolute RTA masterclass. Beautifully constructed review. Absolutely brilliant sir!
I know a lot of folks have had a few problems with this thing. It is, after all, a crazy design, but you make it look like a doddle. A bit Sofia V2-like in some ways. Tricky, but easy when you get the hang of it (or you just follow your instructions lol)! I was interested by your comment about the TH. If there is anything I dont love about the Sofia it's that it is a bit tooooo smooth. This sounds right up my street to be honest...confound you(and my bank account) again :) Seriously, I followed this thing through the interesting development pewriod and have been fascinated by it but there are so few good reviews of it I just didnt bother. You may have changed my mind.......again....lol!

Also, interested you have gone away from your beloved rayon/nichrome combo of late. Any reason for that??

Anyway, just a(nother) brilliant review my friend. You set a high bar that few, if any, can reach!

Ah, thank you my brother!

And no, nothing changed. My usual is Rayon any day ~ but I do use ... Cotton infrequently, tho I prefer rayon. And Kanthal / Nichrome is just a flick of mind.

Also be cautioned once again ~
1) It IS a MTL atty,
2) It IS a carto-RBA (tho with a proprietary tank)

However, if those are in your ally - then it IS a wonderful vape.

M2L is my bag these days and rebuildable cartos hold no fear for me. If I can build the Sofia V2, I can do this I reckon! Now I only havde temptation to fight with (and I always lose somehow..)

Thanks @sedge and happy holidays to you and yours!! And everyone else for that matter!!
Happy holidays @TheotherSteveS ! Hey, it's been a couple weeks now since I've updated the forum or checked this page. I saw what you had written me in responce to that faulty afc of the hussar. I'm glad someone else is like me when it comes to expectations! :thumb: I feel like I have to stay realistic but when spending that much money for an rta, should be holding that company in high regard for delivering something that is unmatched, has no little flaws that normally come with cheaper products fed in from china, and can therefore. last for years to come. This product feels well made, but the afc is just as bad as some budget friendly rtas I have seen reviews on and have been so tempted to buy recently due to my bad luck recently. Was there any vertical play on your afc? Now the company I dealt with sent me a new one, and although the afc doesn't get stuck, now there's vertical play and it moves up and down at least 2 mm. When I attach the chimney to The base, and screw it down tight enough, no more vertical play. Do you think I should just overlook this? God, the company said this is how they make the afc work now and there's nothing they can do to alter it. At least he said he would give me a full refund if I wanted one which was amazingly nice. Now I'm contemplating if I should just give it a go or send it back and not settle. For 100 bucks this decision would be a lot easier. I would keep it in a second. For 200? This thing is way overpriced with how it's made, yet the vape is very satisfying. I'll give it that.

Hey guys...don't crucify me for this...cuz we all know I've got a friggin' stockpile of very high end devices...in fact, I've got a GEM II on its way to me as we speak...

Here's the BUT you're waiting for:
05e81a43570440890a971dbbb547b508.jpg

This is the WOTOFO Serpent Mini.

$25~ shipped from MyFreedomSmokes.

Easy to build, vapes REALLY well, and is a surprisingly great flavor maker!

No crunchy threads, easy to disassemble and clean, showed up spotless and ready to build.

Top fill, huge airflow that dials down to KFL-ish if desired.

-------
It may not be a fancy, complicated, high-end or top shelf tank...but damn.

For less than $30, it's a little eye opener!

Comes with extra glass, O-rings, pre-made coils...vape it right out of the box!
