I have quite a few UK friends, and yes, I pick up their way of saying things, and their slang. I find myself saying, "bloody" and any number of British words and phrases.

Poldiac on truck for delivery  Amazing how quickly that shipped!

You'll love the poldiac, it's one of those mods I'll never get rid of.

I love my poldi but it's really a heavy mod, combined with a heavy atty like the rose it can almost double as a weapon

I can imagine how heavy that is.... I had the Rose on my PAPs 2.5's and it was heavy. I have my PAPs X's paired up the the GG Ody V2 and extended tank, its real heavy, heavier than when I had the Ody-ELA combo.

I tried to post a pic for all of you, but for the life of me I can't get pics to post here from photobucket :( It works fine for posting in the classies, but not normal threads. I need to figure this out so I can post build pics :(

Anyway, I LOVE the Poldiac. Its not that heavy at all, and the switch is heavenly. With the Eviva-t, its just a hair taller than the Stingray X with the Mirror on it. And significantly lighter and more elegant than the Skeleton Key (clone). I do like the S Key as it has a nice switch, and that awesome locking ring, but its unlikely I'll ever get to own an authentic (and you really could beat someone to death with it).

If you cant figure out photobucket, just use imgur. copy/paste the direct link from the right side menu in between
or simply copy the bbcode from the right side menu.

Sedge, status of the ataman 2?
Not yet shipped. Should be soon.

Haven't built the Mirror or the Phenomenon yet. Super busy. And I don't see any light.

Been using just the FlashEVapor, TGT2, Spheroid and Prometey. The easy rewickers.

I received the spring upgrade for my kayfun 4 yesterday slapped a build in it with 30 gauge ni200 came out to .17. Ohms are not bouncing around anymore at all but im hitting temp protection really fast with it set at 20 watts and 490F
I wicked it with Japanese cotton with small wick ends and faster shoulders. It worked excellent with kanthal. Any pointers? I was having better luck with the aqua 2 running dial ni200 coils.

The Rose v2 by Eden Mods Build Tutorial

I have found the Rose v2 to be a very versatile atomizer. A variety of builds have all given me remarkable results on flavor. My go to coil for three of these builds is a 7wrap, 28g on 5/64" bit(s). However, the slots in the ceramic cup are smaller than that so I use 1/16" bits or small Allen keys when setting my coils.

The first build is commonly known as the single coil, diagonal build. First, set the coil lining it up from the bottom wick slot of one side to top wick slot of the other side. Holding your coil in place with the 1/16" bit, trim the legs to about 5mm length from the bottom of the cup. You want your coil mounted above the air tube, or it will short if it touches it. I keep the bit in place until my coil is secured by the grub screws. I find a slightly spaced coil works a little better in the Rose than a tightly compressed one.

Run a long piece of wick diagonally through your coil.

Fold each wick end back over and run them through the other two slots. I use a straight precision screwdriver to aid me.

Now, depending on how well your wick fills the last slots, you may be able to trim the ends against the outside of the cup. If they are skimpy, you will need to fold them back over themselves and trim against the inside of the cup.

A view from the side. This photo is how any of these 4 builds should look from the side.

For a dual coil build, I use two of the same coils as for the single, diagonal build. I twist the legs together before putting them in the cup for mounting.

Mounted in the cup and legs trimmed to 5mm.

Mounted in the base with wicks. Remember to trim your wicks against the outside of the cup as on the first build.

The vertical coil build. I have experimented with various coil diameters on the vertical build, but also prefer the 5/64" coil on this build as well. It is very important on the vertical coil to put the top (long) leg into the positive (larger hole grub screw), and the bottom (shorter) leg into the negative post. This will prevent it from shorting on the air tube.

A photo of my old coil I removed.

The coil mounted.

Run wick around each side of the coil through the slots.

Trim your wicks against the outside of the cup. Cut two tiny pieces from your scrap and use them to gently cover the coil leads.

The final build involves a 7/64" diameter coil where I've split the wick to run it through all four slots. Your final step will be to trim your wicks against the outside of the cup.

Sorry some of the builds are sloppy :). I was sitting here with two Roses, and building, photographing and uploading photos like I was in a race. These write ups are time consuming! I definitely understand sedge being too busy with work to do any right now. Definitely take your time and make nice builds :). I don't recommend doing four as fast as you can
