Still haven't received mine that was shipped on the 13th. I emailed them at day day ten requesting a tracking number, but the 7.50 Euro shipping is airmail, and has no tracking# :nah:

Honestly, two sheets of mesh in an simple envelope would go through customs?

I ordered from the Mesh company and it was here one the fifth day. Apparently I was just lucky. :)

22 days from shipped notice to my mailbox for me. Mine came wrapped around a 8 inch long cardboard tube that was then covered with paper and then seal to the hilt with about 30ft of plastic shipping tape. It took me 15 minutes to fully release all that #500 goodness. Take care in your unpacking...

BTW, At first I just opened the center of the tube, there was nothing inside. I cant recall a time when felt so much disappointment, then I realized where they were hiding it.....

My first order came in 6 days, the second took about 2 weeks. They both were shipped within a day of placing the order, so the only thing I can think of is customs. I don't know why, but sometimes items "get lost" in customs and seem to take forever to get through. I don't believe the shipping they use provides tracking numbers.
Bottom line -- they are an honest company, ship quickly, then we are at the mercy of two different postal systems and customs.....once the package leaves their hands they can't do a thing about the delays.

I've read most of this thread and all i can say is WOW, that's a lot of info. I've learned that i need to roll my wicks solid to wick better, it has worked for me with the 400 i had left and the cheap stuff that came with my DUD. I rolled the first 2 hollow or what i thought was solid and had to trim them to get them to fit, my sister bought one and I then rolled those wicks very tight. They worked rather well compared to the stock wicks i had trimmed, they even let me vape with the fill screw in almost never a dry hit!!.

That being said I finally got some #500 from stormys and found that I just cant seem to get this stuff to wick at all, ive tried rolling it as solid as i possibly can, I've tried juice burning, ive tried without juice burning (my coils are going surprisingly well for me) but i just cant get these wicks to supply the juice short of tipping them upside down (i also test with the fill screw out to make sure thats not my issue) ......

There has got to be something im missing or doing wrong, the juice is just not climbing the wick. I know it can be done because ive had it working before where i could do 25 second vertical burns before id have to let it wick for 1-3 seconds.

I have only used mesh from the mesh co UK so can't comment on Stormy mesh. I would try boiling and steam cleaning in case it has some oil on it. Maybe someone has experience with Stormy mesh.

my 400 was from stormy's and worked just fine ( used it up learning how to do this and had a good one in the process)

I will try boiling it and see how that go's, I would have thought torching it would have gotten most anything that might be on it off of it. When you guys roll your solid wicks, do you let them unroll a little bit when you put them in the tank or do you get them to "stick" together?

I usually like them solid and stuck together, but if I'm using the drill bit method I might unroll them a little when installing to make sure they get a good connection to the coil. The tighter the better the capillary action so it's best not to unroll if possible

My first order was here within the week. I had ordered the regular size so it fit in the large envelope. This last order I got the huge sheets, this was shipped in a giant envelope and took over 2 weeks to arrive. There was no customs label on it so not sure if that held it up.

I roll mine really tight, don't let them spring loose. I had issues with that when I was messing with unoxidized mesh. Took a lot of rolling to get it tight. Typically when my fingers cramp it is tight enough. Has anyone tried using the old cigarette rolling machine for their wicks. I tried the hard surface and the palm of my hand but couldn't get it to roll as tight as I could with my fingers. I also leave a tiny gap around the wick to prevent a vacuum.
