Had a little extra timeso I used it on wrapping that wick with a 28g 12 wrap coil (2.1ohms)...

Its a cool, low to medium volume vape starting at ~4v. It starts kickin and bucking at 4.7v. I have taken it to 5.2v, but my lip starts to burn. The math says I can take it to 5.5v (~14.5 watt limit on a Provari). I cant see a need to take it that high.
Made a 500 wick with twisted 32g kanthal for 7/8 wraps and came out to 1.3 ohms. So far so good, i think i like this twisted wire coil better than a straight coil.
Question though, does your bottom coil heat up at all? No matter what i did it barely turned red, and i made sure it wasn't touching the base.

Same here when I did the pre-wick insert coil check, but mine is pretty tight to the base. Maybe just some heat sink effect going on?
Don't think it matters much if the bottom coil is glowing less. What you can do is start higher and have it closer to the second bottom coil. either way it performs stellar IMHO!
Tried the 500 mesh, solid wick yesterday, running a 30g nichrome 6/7 wrap (1.3Ω). Ran Pluid through it and GJ. It works really well, not a dry hit to be found, 'nuff said.

These were very instructive, reduced setup time and worked! I only had one minor short on the second to the top coil, which was quickly taken care of with a toothpick and a push.

I finally got some true 28awg A1 Kanthal. WOW!!! I finally got popping out of my DID Atty. I have never had such perfect vapor! This is so damn satisfying!

Ha! It's actually Pflugerville. I thiiiink it's the only city in the country that starts with Pf, so Pflugerville is all crazy about the Pf. They make Pf stickers, name things like "Pfestival" and "Pfarmacy" and other suck corny activities. But ya, there's a lot of floozies here, so I combined the two.
I ordered 10/31, still don't have it.
