Yes, I expect to get flamed on this one.

Who could dare to stand against the favorite?

Well, me.

My 510's produce an OK vapor, little throat hit, ZERO flavor (even with High Voltage Drew juice, little lung hit (who rates on this?) and almost NO satisfaction (who rates on this?).

I vape my 510's when my other atties are close to extinction.

How do I spell pathgetic? I spell it "510".

Flame away! (or be truthfull and tell me how your 510's don't really satisfy you).

Rick G. House.

Rofl, i love how things here are so consistently inconsistent. That is my main problem with e-cigs in general. You get so much varied opinion about the same topic, you do not know what to believe after awhile.

My common sense is telling me that people who argue about what is better are being foolish, Simply because perhaps one persons 510 is not working the same as another persons 510. That is what I get out of this discussion. Not which model is better, but how inconsistent ecigs might be.

I suggest that people look at video reviews and get a general consensus, and not go by any individual opinion. The general consensus is that the 510 is outperforming most models in throat hit and vapor. But I am guessing that they are not all consistent and there are variations people are getting. Maybe clones? maybe different parts, suppliers factories, faulty devices etc.

I have a 510 and comparing it to my 901, the throat hit and overall atomizer seems to be stronger. Seems to run hotter and provide more throat hit. For those who say the 510 has no throat hit, that has not been my experience with it. The throat his is rather strong. When i just top off, the throat hit is actually too strong.

I don't understand ppl having problems with TH and vapor from 510. I do understand battery life tho, it's terrible. Shortly after starting on the 510 about 4 months ago I did a small battery mod that helped me alot. You almost have to with the 510 or get used to charging batteries often. I recently got the Spade from dietsmokes and I couldn't be happier! I get about 4 hours off each battery. It's not a HV mod, which was fine for me. The size is good too.

I'm really looking forward to trying the new L2 510 atty. Gonna order a couple today!
The L2 atties are old news and have been discussed here and other forums for a while. That's the SLB/DSE foray into 510 clones (new ones pop up every day).

* Model: 510
* Manufactured by: DSE's SLB

They have been available for a while and Vapor Country has been selling the DSE 510 parts for some time, as a low priced alternative to Joye... without obfuscating the real manufacturer.

7. DSE-510

Are you sure they're the same SLB attys? I have purchased the SLB 510 clone attys before.. from Rob at Vaporkings. They don't look exactly like the L2 pictures. Also.. the L2 pictures lead me to believe that they have the supplemental wick (from the bridge to the coil). The SLB 510 clones that I have received in the past do not have this wick.

I think the OP can now retire to bed safe in the knowledge that he has done his bit for the vaping Community today - well, at least to 'Wind' you/us all up a smidgen!

My original thought when I read the OP was 'To use a Wooden Spoon' in the most effective way that it could be on a public forum.

To gain exposure of him? hmm, maybe not but to maybe at least draw fire to him in some way :)

I have had a 510 for 3 weeks as of today - I am testing this to the death as I want to find a product I can sell (I have tried no other product based on reviews I started on what I thought was the Dogs Nuts')

I must say that eben with the atty I have used non-stop for 3 weeks as a heavy vaper I still get massive plumes from my juice - even today I was in 'Boots' and took a lug from my trusty 510 just to see the young woman I was talking to recoil thinking it was smoke!

This device for me is perfect as far as the atty's go - just wash them in hot water for about 20 secs each week to clean them a little and then dry them.. it's not Rocket Science after all to want to prolong the life of your equipment however cheap they are to replace (Human Nature).

Flavour is great, and I have tried 2 types of juice and I must say they DO vary but still good at worst.

Battery life 'Sucks' as you would say - I vape constantly and I need to install a freshly re-charged battery each 30 mins usually so for that reason I have 3 full e-... sets of parts.

I hear that this OP is a Heavy Vaper, hmm, so why come here and say such things in the first place if not to gain attention?

This does sound to me like a user error.

These are hand made for sure - my original titanium twin pack were equal - I tested the Atty's and they both checked out at 2.2 ohm - the newer black e-...'s atty was at 3.4 ohm and I suspect any other black atty from my supplier from that period in time would have the same resistence.

So, as ever - I think the OP mush have bad equipment, maybe is a little drunk at the mo and wants attention.

Merry Christmas All :)

I wonder where you bought your 510. I recently bought a bad batch of 510 attys from a well known chinese supplier. He didn't want to replace it. He just said I should clean them. They don't heat up well as compared to my other 510 attys. I ordered a new batch from him, and they were also the same low heating type.

Do you own.. or do you have access to an Ohm meter? Original Joye 510 attys will be in the low 2 Ohm range. Many of the "clones" will be in the 3+ Ohm range.. which will run cooler.

Don't know if they are the same DSE 510 atties, but I don't believe for a second that they are a partnership between Joye and SLB as the site infers.

Rob at Vaporkings or Rob at Vapor Country would be the ones to ask as they has always been upfront about the SLB parts. They would be in a better position to know if SLB has re-designed their DSE atties. They have been around for a lot longer than Strictly and are here, with their own forums, to give answers, which can be scrutinized. Just 2 weeks ago folks were raving about being able to buy $10 Dekang liquids (which is about all they sold) from Strickly and not caring that their personal info was flowing over an unencrypted site.

Put your ohm meter on them. Joye atties are in the 2.5 ohm range and suck a lot of current. Yours that aren't hot are probaly in the 3+ range (like the SLB/DSE) and will run cooler. Seems odd that this 'unnamed ' supplier was not reponsive to your initial concerns yet you bought from him again...?? Do they have a forum here on ECF?

Your " bad batch of 510 attys" were probably not bad, as in defective, they may well be one of the clones out there seeing as they all exhibited the same behavior. Unfortunately your post will not help folks here from making the same mistake.

Im in the clouds ( can we say "dong"?) anyway, its all I use and will ever use... "pathgetic" says it all for the OP lmao (spell check, anyone?)

Choice of e-cig model's varies as much as which juice a person likes.
If the 510 works great for some, that's fine.
I think they are great for vapor and throat hit, and last a good while.
Flavor and battery life stink on them imo. I retired mine except for rare occasions I get a juice I don't like and want to kill the nasty flavor.
I tend to opt for flavor over throat hit. Is the 510 bad, not necessarily... but it's not the right pv for everyone..
Just personal preference is what it comes down to, therefore different models are available : D

In checking his prior posts, it appears he is a HV vaper.

Wonder if we have to guess, or he is really trolling for flames?!?!?!

(Are people who desire flames, Flamers?)
Wow, trashed him.....at least he's honest. Let's not forget there are alot of dissatisfied 510 posts here, he was just brave enough to use the "P" word. I use a 510 almost exclusively, I don't have a dud, but it sure doesn't live up to all the hype. Let's not forget we all, at some point, tend to compare our ecigs to the real thing :).

Although i disagree with you i must commend you for actually speaking your mind. No flame here from me, as i see it you gave your honest opinion and whether or not myself or anyone else agrees with it i do respect your opinion. One thing i am curious about, there seems to be more than a few that don't like the 510 mostly on lack of flavor and or throat hit, although the majority does agree that it gives plenty of vapor, what i am wondering is what type of REAL cigarettes did you used to smoke, or still currently smoke, before switching to e-cigs. I'm just curious to see if there is any type of similarity in that respect as well. As for me i smoked Camel wides, 2 packs a day, but have been off analogs (.... LOGS) for almost 3 months now with not a single craving, yes i use the 510, have been very happy with it as well, but even more so now that i built a 5 volt battery box for it.

I'm at a loss as to why anyone likes the 510 over a 901. I have a 901 box mod and a 510 box mod. I broke my 901 box and used my passthru at home instead of the 510 used the 510 only when I left the house. Does it work sure.. good or too strong of a throat hit but thats about all I can say in its favor, uses up batteries faster and washes out the flavor of the liquids, you have to use a really strong flavor like coffee to taste anything.

Everyone likes something different I know but if you are looking for nice flavors the 510 doesnt produce. If you are looking for a good throat hit its for you.

Alot of people that like the 510 seems to only have a 510.
