Just thought I'd throw in this mix that when the rest of the 510 batteries die, they'll be replaced with manual 401's. They didn't used to be available and the only thing I didn't like about the 401 was the auto batteries. My 510 works as well as any, but the 401 kicks it around and leaves it a crumpled pile when compared in the taste equation

But the reviews I read ... 510's are the best, 901's are great, 801's @ 5 volts produce the greatest flavor ... on and on it goes. But I keep buying the stuff, and draw a zero.
I recieved my first 801 5-volt passthrough today. According to the reviews, it's supposed to produce great flavor. My experience, even with HV Drew juice, NOTHING.
510's, no flavor and no satisfaction.
901's, no flavor and no satisfaction.
801's, add to the list.

No, I haven't tried a normal 801, but I'm so disillusioned with my pass-through at zero flavor, that I can't get excited about trying it.
36mg juice? Yes, I got ECOpure KRYSTAL 36mg and it gives me a head rush. I definitely feel the nicotine, but feel very unsatisfied at the same time.
KR808D-1 is the only thing that I have found that delivers flavor. I only get the 36mg (and blank) cartos. The coffee, green apple, chocolate & red cow from V4L all taste good. I also got some blank cartos and filled then with HV Drew juice (German Chocolate, Orange Cremesicle, French Vanilla Coffee, Peaches & Cream, Black Cow, Black Raspberry & Cream, Chocolate Macadamia Nut ... spiked with Nhale-Xhale 60mg unflavored to boost the nic). These also have good flavor.
I was really looking for a 3-piece with flavor, but I'm coming to the conclusion that there is no such thing.
I go through 4+ cartos per day, which costs a lot more than analogs. Filling my own cuts the cost, but takes too much time.

.I agree, Willy. High voltage is great vapor, but also destroys more nic at the atty. I vape for the nicotine. Best to use large mah batteries at 3.7-4.2v........I'd imagine someone will disagree......

Sorry to say after getting my vk I don't touch the 510 anymore. It is superior on most levels in my mind.

That's exactly the same thing that I experienced. By VK, I assume you are referring to the Vapor King KR808D-1?
I find it far superior, and the only one so far that delivers flavor.
I really didn't want a 2-piece, but it looks like I'm forced into it.

I bought the 510 because they came out with the manual battery before the 901. As soon as they made a manual battery for the 901, I gave my 510's away.. Never did try them at 6v. Wish I had. May have to order a couple of atty's and adapter and give it another chance.

Is this some fancy true 5V PT? The reason I ask is because an 801 on a battery runs at much less than that.
