I am a little thrown off by the "don't let your tank go dry" thing, though. Isn't that why we TC?
TC was really developed to prevent dry hits and burning cotton wicking. Apparently, the Ceramic isn't supposed to be heated Dry. But I don't know why TC shouldn't prevent that, too. Maybe because it is partially embedded. Or maybe this statement was meant for the Kanthal Head, but no distinction was made there that I could see.

My Black one has a reddish-orange everywhere, but the Pink one looks like everything is more of a darker pink than orange.

OOOH! I love that! I have seen different pictures with different button colors and I wasn't sure which ones they decided to go with. I love the orange with the white. They all look great with these button choices. Still going with pink though. :D

Okay, that makes total sense. If that section was talking about not letting the Kanthal head get dry then I can see a use for the cCells with TC. I thought it was talking about the ceramic coil.

They are all ceramic--kanthal and nickel coils.
Ooops! I misread the earlier post where 100% was talking about wire types. For some reason I decided that the 2 included heads were not cCells. That's what I get for reading on the fly! Thanks for clearing that up for me. :)

That's right. The Ceramic is used instead of more traditional wicking in the cCell Heads, but either Kanthal or Ni200 wire us used in the Ceramic. The wire is put in the Ceramic during the Sintering process.

Please watch this animated video again . . .

Okay I am back to being unconfused again. I did watch the video again, so thanks for reposting it! :) So is your experience so far with flavor the same as Tia's? It seems to me that without the cotton we will get more true flavor but, as I said, I have zero experience with ceramic.

Yes, I was just as impressed as Tia when I first loaded the Ni200 Head in the Target Tank and started vaping on the Target Mod. But all you saw was her first impression after only a very few vapes, which was the same as mine (same with the Heathen Vape guy). Tia said she'd make a 1-month follow-up, but we may be hearing from her much sooner than that.

I have to be honest with you. The cCell Ceramic Heads did not perform well for me at all in extended use. I tried my DIY Cinnamon Red Hots with the Ni200 Head and it was great at first. Very clean with nothing tasted except my juice, and it performed very well. But as the day went on, I had to keep turning up the Temp to get the same vape. The Wattage is adjusted automatically by the Mod, so all you have any control over is the Temperature in TC Mode.

After one and a half days of use, the Ni200 Head was almost totally clogged up, and all I could taste anymore was the sweetness from the Sweetener in the CHR. Even thought it was not recommended, I tried to Dry Burn it to clean it, but that was not very successful. I even took it out of TC and into Wattage Mode and ran the Head with the glass off of the Tank, trying to get Max Airflow to help keep the coil and ceramics cooler. I didn't run the Wattage very high, but that did help to clean it just a little more, but it was still almost Black.

I vaped about half a Tank of Unflavored VG to clear out the CRH and then I put some Irish Cream in the tank and tried it again. But it clogged up again in less than a Tankful.

So I moved on to the Kanthal Head, thinking that maybe because the Mod would run the Ni200 Head at up to 75W, maybe it was getting too hot at times and that might be causing the clogging. I ran the Kanthal Head at about 15W and it was working great... at first, but the performance started dropping off with it, too. As I cranked up the Watts by 2.5 Watts at a time, it would perform again, but only briefly. I turned up the Wattage in 2.5 Watt steps and stopped at 35 Watts because it kept clogging.

I was able to clean the Kanthal Head's ceramic to almost white again with Dry Burning (I had nothing to lose), and tried my CHR to see what would happen (forgot to mention that I used unflavored VG first). It worked fairly well at first by starting at 20W, but the Head clogged within half a Tank, and turning the Watts up just made it worse again. :(

Maybe it's the Sweetener in these two juices that made it clog so quickly, but I don't have this issue with Japanese Organic Cotton or CelluCotton. And I didn't have this issue with AO Ceramic Sticks. The Irish Cream is a little dark (a light orange-tan), but I wouldn't call it a dark juice, and I have no more Heads to try something else. I'd even try it with unflavored VG if I could, to see how long that would work on a fresh Head. I can't use a juice with PG in it, so I can't say what would work well. Or maybe it's that I was sent a Sample Kit and not a Full Production version. I really can't say. Sorry!

I looked at taking the Ni200 cCell Head apart to get the Ceramic out so I could torch it, but I don't see a way to do that without a big possibility of damaging the Ceramic, so I stopped. Maybe a self-cleaning oven would do the trick.

I'm really looking forward to hearing about Katya's experience with it. And anyone else's who gets or wins a Target Tank or Kit. But for now, there is nothing more I can do. With more TC Heads, I could try the Tank on another TC Mod. Short of that, all there is left would be to get an Aspire Atlantis-type RBA Head.

drat .....................
That's what I said. :(

But last I knew, you were vaping 100% VG. Has that changed? While I was cleaning the Heads with unflavored 3mg 100% VG, they worked much better than with a flavored juice.

Melo coils might work too.

Oh well. When it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

But the tank is OK, right? Or is it garbage also?

What? I hope it works better for you with your juices!

Yes, anything that will fit an Aspire Atlantis should work great in the Tank. And Yes, I like the Tank. I think it's nice and somewhat comparable to the Kanger SubTank Mini in performance, but it seems to work better for MTL vaping. I don't generally MTL anymore, so I may not be the best judge of that, but for what I did, it seemed to work quite well with MTL. Works nicely for DL too, IMO.

I think the Mod is pretty cool, too! It does what it does very well. I'll try some other Tanks on it, just for all of you. :)

Which is why I never watch video reviews that start with, "I just got this..." Everything works fine for 10 minutes.
And there is usually very little useful information in them, either. There certainly wasn't in those two.

I saw two different RBA decks for Atlantis in another thread, by Anyvape and VVTF, but nobody knows how they perform. There are vendors who sell individual coils, not 5-packs, for both Atlantis and, I believe, Melo--I'm going to order a few, methinks.

After the holidays. Gotta cook now! :D

Bummer. I love potent, sweet juices so I can see having that problem as well. I don't do unflavored, and I really appreciate your review. It doesn't sound very good for the way I vape. It would be nice to know if there is some way to clean the heads, like if soaking them in alcohol would clean them or something... I wouldn't attempt that unless Vaporesso chimed in and said whether or not that is something we can do. Gah, I was really hoping they would perform better than that! :(

Right? That's why I asked 100% for his impression after a couple of days. EVERYTHING works well when you first fire it up!
