Ss however, CAN be used in vw mode...on a non tc mod...a mech mod, whatever....it is my wire of choice these days
SS wire, in my experience, runs cooler than Kanthal does in VW Mode, so SS is great for very low Ohm builds, or very high Watts, if you don't like a hot vape.

Thanks for the notes about Ti wire being used on a Ni-only mod. I thought that might be the way if would work, but had never tried it because I was not sure.

Wherever it is, it will at least LOOK like Fiji if I don't wear mah readers! :D
:?: What are mAh readers? Is that some kind of battery tester?

I have some information for you all.

I just rebuilt a cCell using the good casing parts from the one I cut apart, The outer shell from the boiled one, and the Ni200 ceramic and coil that came out so white and good looking from the cleaning attempt.

One of the legs had broken off, so I soldered on a wire taken from an extension cord that was close to the same AWG size, but slightly larger. I cut a strip of Japanese Cotton to wrap around it, and pulled it into two thinner strips. I started the wrap beside the solder joint, putting the fluffy side out, so it would be at the juice holes. I wrapped it around two times and cut it just before reaching the solder joint again. I rolled it between my finger and thumb a few times to get any slack out and installed it in the good Inner Chamber.

In case the solder joint decided to short to the Inner Chamber wall, I made that leg Ground in the Grommet. I put the Plus Pin on the other leg and pushed all of that into the outer shell, with the Silicone Seal already inside.

The Vaporesso Target Mod reads it at 0.15Ω and it works TC Mode at 400°F, but after a few vapes, I had to keep cranking the Temp up with each vape to get good flavor, but the vapor was extremely thick. When I had to set it to 600°F, I put it on another TC Mod. That one reads 0.19Ω. It works nicely at 30W and 500°F. I just put it on yet another TC Mod that reads it as 0.17Ω. When I set it to 30W and 500°F, it works as well as the 2nd, but a little hotter. I set it to 25W and 450°F and it works nicely, but I'm getting a little gurgling, so I'm putting it back on the 2nd Mod and letting them both cool so I can lock the resistance. That might be effecting the flavor.

The flavor was not as good after a few vapes, but that could have been because the Ohms were not locked on the Vaporesso and the 2nd TC Mod. The 3rd one seems to lock that by itself. There is no way to manually lock the Ohms. Once it has cooled and I can lock the Ohms, I'll continue to use it on the 2nd Mod.

But even after all that Ni200 coil and ceramic tube have been through, it is performing and blowing big clouds again.

I think this cleaning procedure may work very well when done properly. I'd love to try this on a fresh cCell, or even a used one that needs to be revived for the first time. If not, there's always Efferdent.

I missed the delivery guy... Signature required. They are going to try again tomorrow, hopefully. Makes no difference--I don't have a TC mod.
Sorry. :( Any delivery tracking on your TC Mod?
Yeah, but I have no idea when it will get here.
I guess not. Sorry again. :(

I won it...
proxy.php

So, no complaints.
I won a Mod in a Facebook contest (my first ever Facebook win, and the only one so far). I won somewhere in the middle, but there were to be multiple winners of the same thing, and I was told it would be sent when the event as over. It never came, and after two months of waiting (and asking about it for the 1st month), I contacted them on Facebook again and asked if I needed to do something more to get it.

They looked into it and told me that it had never been shipped. They said they would not be getting any more of those and offered me something else, but I did not like that one. I looked at their stock and finagled with them to get something more like what I was supposed to get. They agreed and sent me something that I love now even more than I would have liked the first one.

Patience and a kind approach are key in these cases. They seemed apologetic enough and agreed to something else that I wanted.

Good Luck, Tweet Sweet.

Thanks, VG! Mine was an ECF contest and everybody is still waiting, so I'm not too worried.

I'm still on the fence about that whole TC thingy. I'm a very low wattage vaper, haven't had a dry hit in years. I can wait.
TC Vaping is great, but what I have found for the most part is that it is takes more power for me to get the same flavor. That means higher Watts than regular VW vaping. TC Vaping seems to go through batteries a lot faster was well. Seems like about twice as fast on a single 18650 device. My ADV before with VW was 12.5 Watts. This Vaporesso is different though because the flavor is so much better with the Ceramics.

I don't typically use manufactured Coil Heads, so I don't know how long the average OCC Heads will last. I don't need massive clouds as a regular thing, but I do enjoy them on occasion. I love to build my own, so I really like an RBA, RTA, or RDA. I have not tried an RDTA yet, but I'd love to. I get crazy long vape times from a build. If the Full Production cCells can match that kind of vape time and still perform as well as my builds do, then I would consider that to truly be a game changer. So I am looking forward to finding out for myself.

If they wanted to, Vaporesso could even make an RBA that would accept Ceramic Cells with coils in them that would be made by them and available through them. I just replaced a (somewhat) cleaned one in a regular cCell, so an RBA that was made for that would be great!!!

Yeah, but I have no idea when it will get here.

I have a 40w TC iStick you can have if you want it. It still works great but it has not been getting any love lately. If you want it, send me a PM! :)

That's awesome, VG! It's way out of my comfort zone to do something like that but I think it's great that you rebuilt a ceramic coil!! :)
