I can do that, and I also added denture cleaning tablets to my shopping list.
Make sure to get the unflavored variety--most of them are "minty fresh." You don't want minty fresh. Don't ask me how I know...

Question, Sweet.
If you are concerned about getting all the Isopropyl Alcohol out of the Ceramic, have you studied what's in the denture cleaning tablets that might not come out, either? I have never used them, so I have no idea what's in them.
Vaping 100% VG thinned with Everclear did not help mine at all, but I can't tolerate much PG.Better yet, just vape a tank filled with pure PG or PG/VG mix--you may want to up your wattage a bit. PG is a good solvent. That's my favorite method to maintain clean coils. A wet burn, if you will.![]()
Isopropyl Alcohol is a Standard in the cleaning of electronic circuits. I melts the solder resin and cleans then up nicely. But cleaning with it is very different from drinking it or vaping it. I don't think that any internal use would be well advised, but I could be wrong about vaping it.I wouldn't drink it.
But it can safely be used (see alcohol wipes) for general cleaning and sanitizing purposes. Isopropyl alcohol and iodine are commonly used to clean skin before injections (and other medical procedures) in most medical centers all over the world.
Anything that will work in an Atlantis or Melo should fit the diameter well. FapnFagan gave up on Atlantis Heads in the Target Tank, but I really think they are about 1mm taller. I also think this is why Vaporesso claims that cCells work in the Tanks they listed. They are food grade and GRAS.
Actually, I'm still looking for cotton coils that would work in my Target tank. So please, if you find something, lemme know.![]()
Have you received your Target Tank?Actually, I'm still looking for cotton coils that would work in my Target tank.
Mine does not work like that. It says that NEW COIL is the + button and OLD COIL is the - button.OMG I am an idiot. It says that NEW COIL is the - button, not the + button. I was giving it the wrong information!! It works! It read my coil at .45 (it reads .48 on the Cloupor) and it switched to wattage mode. I have it set at 34.6 watts and it fired just fine. That's way too hot for me, but now that I know I am directionally challenged, at least I know that it will switch over. Whew! It does stay in wattage mode when I switch tanks back to the nickle coil but that's not as big a deal because nickle can be vaped in wattage mode on a TC device, right? Or am I wrong about that...
Maybe she loves a Menthol.Make sure to get the unflavored variety--most of them are "minty fresh." You don't want minty fresh. Don't ask me how I know...![]()
EEEEWWW! That actually made me laugh out loud, though. I am not a mint person. Even my toothpaste is anything but mint, lol. Man that must taste terrible with a bakery flavor.Make sure to get the unflavored variety--most of them are "minty fresh." You don't want minty fresh. Don't ask me how I know...![]()
Crap I switched the + and -. What I was doing was pressing the - button, thinking I was telling it that it was a new coil, instead of the + button. It was me who got that wrong. I should have magnified that tiny print before I even attempted to interpret it. It was definitely my fault.Mine does not work like that. It says that NEW COIL is the + button and OLD COIL is the - button.
I tried it again and it still will not switch to TC Mode after being in VW Mode. It showed the lower resistance of my Ni200 build in a SubTank Mini, but it did not switch to TC Mode.
Nickel should not be vaped in Wattage Mode. It will overheat quickly.

She could vape a chocolate ice cream and get Mint Chocolate Chip.![]()

You can have mine when I am done with it. I am not much for rebuilding, even though I have all of the "equipment," lol. I am going to try the denture cleaner trick on this one and test it when the nickle one goes bad but you are welcome to them when I am done with them.Just putting this out there...
If any of you have any cCells that get to the point of degraded performance, and you either can't revive them, or don't care to try, and you don't want to take them apart to rebuild them, I'd like to have them.
If a cleaning attempt has not been tried, I will continue will with cleaning experiments on them.
If a cleaning attempt has been tried and failed, I'll use them for various attempts at rebuilding them.
Thanks in advance to any who want to take me up on this. If you do, just send me a PM about it.

Got that backwards...you never want to vape Ni or Ti coils in wattage modeOMG I am an idiot. It says that NEW COIL is the - button, not the + button. I was giving it the wrong information!! It works! Okay. I thought I could vape nickle in wattage mode on a TC mod, but not on a VW mod. Good thing I have never done it! I do know that there are problems when nickle gets too hot, which is why I am more interested in titanium and stainless, but this mod doesn't support those wire types.Got that backwards...you never want to vape Ni or Ti coils in wattage mode
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.
Ti wire should be treated like Ni in that regard....run it too hot (vw mode) and it will create titanium dioxide......really bad stuff.....but it can be used safely up to the max temp a tc mod will produce.....in ti mode.Okay. I thought I could vape nickle in wattage mode on a TC mod, but not on a VW mod. Good thing I have never done it! I do know that there are problems when nickle gets too hot, which is why I am more interested in titanium and stainless, but this mod doesn't support those wire types.
Does it run a lot hotter or just a little hotter? That sounds like something I could get wrong very easily, lol. I have a couple of mods that support the different wire types, so I will just use them when I start playing with new wire types. We all know I have the capacity to get it wrong, lol!Addendum.....you CAN use ti on an Ni only tc mod....but your temps will display inaccurately.....it will run hotter then set temp, so you will want to start at a low temp and work your way up to your sweet spot

Then we are in the same boat. Where are we headed? I hope it's Fiji!!!Crap I switched the + and -. I can understand you wanting to keep alcohol out of your home. I forgot to congratulate on 14 years. You can have mine when I am done with it. Wherever it is, it will at least LOOK like Fiji if I don't wear mah readers! Then we are in the same boat. Where are we headed? I hope it's Fiji!!!
Hey, I can dream.

Why thank you very much! I am pretty positive something like 90% alcohol would not be a trigger for me, but I don't like to take chances, especially when there are alternatives.I can understand you wanting to keep alcohol out of your home. I forgot to congratulate on 14 years.

That's quite a Milestone!!!
