75W Vaporesso TARGET 2 VTC Kit with Ceramic cCELL Coil

TC vaping is great, but what I have found for the most part is that it is takes more power for me to get the same flavor. That means higher Watts than regular VW vaping. TC vaping seems to go through batteries a lot faster was well. Seems like about twice as fast on a single 18650 device. My ADV before with VW was 12.5 Watts. This Vaporesso is different though because the flavor is so much better with the Ceramics.

I don't typically use manufactured Coil Heads, so I don't know how long the average OCC Heads will last. I don't need massive clouds as a regular thing, but I do enjoy them on occasion. I love to build my own, so I really like an RBA, RTA, or RDA. I have not tried an RDTA yet, but I'd love to. I get crazy long vape times from a build. If the Full Production cCells can match that kind of vape time and still perform as well as my builds do, then I would consider that to truly be a game changer. So I am looking forward to finding out for myself.

If they wanted to, Vaporesso could even make an RBA that would accept Ceramic Cells with coils in them that would be made by them and available through them. I just replaced a (somewhat) cleaned one in a regular cCell, so an RBA that was made for that would be great!!!

Oh okay, i won't try that then. I didn't realize isopropyl caused an issue. Too bad I have two huge bottles of it, lol. I have never cleaned a coil with it, though.

I think Everclear is illegal in Washington. I haven't bought alcohol in 14 years, and the laws changed in the interim to allow the sale of alcohol in stores so maybe I can get it there. I will have to ask someone. We are both in recovery and I don't even know anyone who would know if I can get it or not, so I guess I will have to google it, lol!

I don't mind using it, but I'm so dry I fart dust Knowing what you're comfortable with is important.

Wow, I used to build fiberglass parts for luxury yachts, and we worked with 5-gallon buckets of both alcohol and acetone on a daily basis. There were times my bare hands were in those buckets for a good part of the day! It's how we cleaned the resin off of our skin. I'm surprised I haven't grown a third eye from that job, lol. We did a whole lot of stuff we shouldn't have, including using acetone to stop bleeding. Sheesh.

Small world. When I was very young, I also did a lot of fiberglass work. Same thing, hands in alcohol and acetone all day. One day, I had rubber gloves on and didn't realize there was a hole in one, effectively keeping my hands in CONSTANT contact with the alcohol for hours. When I took my hand out, it was like the alcohol had penetrated the skin, and melted all the fat outta my hand. It was like a bag of skin with bones in it. WEIRD, ugly, and kinda scary! I remember all the fiberglass floating through the air too, from grinding the hardened parts. nasty. I had to throw away several coats. Once you get the fiberglass in the sleeves, there is NO wearing them anymore.

Thanks, Mark! I definitely agree about figuring out what you're comfortable with. I have heard about using Vodka to thin out e-juice but I decided I don't know enough about how it is absorbed in the body to try it. I am okay with small amounts of PG for thinning. I do, however, love red wine vinaigrette salad dressing and the occasional O'Doul's Amber. It sounds like you might have some time on me, though, so congratulations to you, too!!!

Yes please! That would be very cool. I can definitely see making ceramic coils a huge part of my vaping future and the more options the better!

In my Rebuilding information update, I said that up to a 7/32" Drill Bit could be used to push the Ceramic Cell out of a cCell. I have an update on that.

While rebuilding the Ni200 cCell yesterday, after I wrapped the Ceramic Cell with cotton and inserted it into the Inner Chamber, I forgot to put the Silicone Seal inside the outer shell, so I had to take the Inner Chamber out again. I used a 7/32" Drill Bit (the one I tested with before) and it got stuck. The flat end of it went through when I tested it, but as the shaft was pushed through it got stuck.

7/32 is 5.55625mm, so it is a little bigger than 5.5mm. I don't have a 5.5mm Drill Bit or Rod to test with, but I think it will fit without issue. I was able to get the Inner Chamber & Cell out with the 7/32", but initially I thought the Inner Chamber was stuck. At some point, I realized that the bit was stuck in the Shell's air hole, so I kept tapping on it to get the Inner Chamber out.

Neither the Ceramic Cell or the Casing were damaged because the wrapped Cell inserted with little force (just enough to compress the cotton), and the Inner Chamber inserted fairly easily, too. But to make life easier, I suggest using an actual 5.5mm tool, or a 13/64" Drill Bit (5.1594mm).

Almost everything I've learned about rebuilding a cCell has come the hard way, but hopefully this will make it easier for you, if you decide to rebuild.

Coil rebuild sounds like a real PITA.

No RBA on the horizon and no third party RBAs appear
to fit as well.

I'm currently awaiting a tank to be shipped to me, but it
appears that I'll be using it as a hood ornament once I'm done
with the kanthal coil.

Innokin's product with an embedded temp sensor in the atty (as opposed to measuring the resistance change) should be available within the next few weeks. With that tech, it won't matter what wire is in the head, including TC with Kanthal (which doesn't change resistance with temp much at all).

Still trying to get a review done on this mod, but for now I'll say it has worked flawless so far. Havent done any temp probing yet, but it does seem to run cooler then set temp....is that a deal breaker? No, not with the ceramic coils producing the flavor they do...and that arbitrary 420 degree scorch point for cotton isnt an issue with these coils, so i just compensate by turning the temp up, without having to worry about burning the wick.....have not recieved a single dry hit. I ran 8 tanks through the kanthal head before switching to the Ni....and that first coil was still going strong, i just wanted to test tc.

I am so glad you posted this! I notice that at 550 degrees my vapor is very cool. I have to say that I am not as much a fan of the TC coil as I was with the kanthal. so far, anyway. I really dislike the slow ramp up time combined with the very cool vapor. It just feels like the battery is dying all the time to me.
