Sinter is a regular part of my vocabulary, cute seeing other people discover it, since I never thought it was a special word. Basically it is a very precise oven that heats slowly to a set temp and holds for a preset amount of time, and then slowly cools. It is used in all forms of ceramics, to take the soft powdery substance and harden it. The zirconium also shrinks by about 25% and becomes translucent.
I know. I finally get through and the office is closed. Please call again between the hours of ...After trying to leave a comment for President Obama for 4 hours, I'm feeling rather sintered myself.
