So just curious, has anyone tried these coils in both the target tank and another compatible tank? Notice any pro's to using the actual target tank vs others? Debating if I should get another coil compatible tank or not and if so, why not get a target one.
I've used the coils in my Melo tank, and they work well in it. The coils I'm not as impressed as I thought I would be. I was mislead by indoor smokers initial review saying they had no cotton (thought that was cool because I change juice frequently), when in fact they have a ton of cotton surrounding the ceramic coated coil. I find the airflow a bit restricted on the tanks, but not terrible or anything. One thing I do love is the fact that this is the only tank I've ever had that has never leaked at all. I have an Arctic, Melo, Kangertech, etc, and this is the only one that I've never experienced any leakage issues with.

Thanks for the info. I didn't get mine from that company, though. I won mine from a vendor here on ECF, and they have sent me a functioning one already.
That's okay, they are handling warranty/replacement for Vaperosso in the US. I purchased mine from a private person here in Canada, and they still did the replacements for me.

I'm using it in the VF atty right now with no problems. Yeah the cotton is around the outside to prevent flooding the coil. Airflow is a touch restrictive because of the center diameter of the ceramic.

I got the vaporesso today from vape NW. Wow it came fast 4 days all the way to Florida. Ordered the white . It had black button instead of orange. Got it for my wife and so far she loves it. I was hoping to get the kit but no luck.

The vaporesso I have hasn't had a hiccup to date.It and the tank are in my hand all day.I like the ergonomics of it.It feels like an old style M-16 or M-16A1 grip.Might mount it on mine so when I shoot I can turn it sideways and vape then get back to spendin money down the tube.hey just a thought.

Might try some of those cleaning ideas but the thought occured to me that at some point, if not intially, it may break the ceramic down.maybe a soak in warm or hot water will work.

Check this video:
There is an email address for Eight Cig in the description to contact and arrange a replacement if you are having this problem.

The screen glitch/overheating issue is common (I'm on my fourth replacement now). According to Vaporesso, it's an issue with interference from the PCBA affecting only a few in the first two production runs, but by the number of comments/messages I've had from other having the same problem, I'm not sure about that claim. I've included the email I got back from Vaperosso (they only responded after I sent them a link to my Youtube videos)

From my experience with the 4 I've had to date... When the units are affected by this problem, you may notice intermittent 'low power'/no hits (especially while running in TC mode) with a fully or almost fully charged battery. When the battery actually does get low (seems most often between 20-30%) the screen will glitch and go crazy. You can clear it by removing/replacing the battery, but if you leave it with the screen messed up, it will overheat behind the display. It's happened twice to me now when it started to glitch and I didn't realize right away, got quite hot both times. Hoping they come clean and get the faulty units replaced before someone has a real bad problem. Since it only happens when the battery is low, I'm not sure if it will have enough juice to actually start a fire or anything (just a single 18650 thank god), but if someone were to plug it into the pass through charger without noticing it's glitching, it may become a real problem.

The latest replacement they have sent me is arriving today. I will test it thoroughly and I will post an update once that is done. They say this one is from a new batch, and that it won't have the same problem as the rest. They've passed along to me that anyone seeing this problem should email and arrange to have the unit replaced.

Wow, Kevin, thank you so much for posting this! I'm really glad you got in touch with Vaporesso and got an answer as to what causes this, and it's great to hear that Vaporesso is trying to do good by the consumer. This really could be a huge problem if people don't know about it and charge via pass-through (as I often do). I hope mod #4 is glitch free for you. That's a lot to go through to get a great little device and I for one very much appreciate you sharing your experience.

I used one of mine in an Atlantis just to see if it would work (and it did) but I pretty much stick to the Target tanks now. I am waiting (im)patiently for the top-fill Vaporesso Orca tank Vaporesso ORCTANK cCELL Tank - 3.5ml to come out. There will be SS cCells, too! I'm hoping it's released right after the new year celebration. Fingers crossed! :)

But the Target tank performs beautifully. I have 2 of them and I have never had a leak from either one. I happen to like the look of the Target tank very much, and since they perform so well they are what I am using for my cCells.

I just got an ultrasonic cleaner yesterday and I plan to try and clean a couple of coils that way. I figure it will either work or it won't! :D I really don't think there is any chance of the coils breaking down. They are really hard, almost like teeth!

So is that Orctank the same as the Gemini, just with a name change? They look pretty similar except for the top air flow and different DTs.

That's what I was thinking! They don't list the Gemini yet so I am assuming it's the same thing. Whatever they decide to call it, me wants!! :D

I just want to know when they will be available for public consumption. I already decided that I need one. :D

I emailed that Eight Cig place today. They told me to try a hard reset on the one having the glitch. I don't figure it did anything, but I'm going to let the battery go down and see. It was just holding the fire button for a minute with no battery in it. But I don't think it reset anything, wattage and resistance was still the same on the screen. But I tried. I'm hoping if they want me to send it in, they'll let me change the color...

I hope so, too! I know you really really want a white one. I hope the reset didn't fix the glitch and you get the one you want, lol!

Man I hope the new one is the one for you. I just ordered one from VapeNW and hope all is good with that one. It's for my wife so I will have to let her know to keep an eye on it.

So has the replacement had any problems with the glitch?

I'm happy either way. The stainless one looks nice. I have a working red and black one. I've already looked at the insides. I've already looked at the insides, and I can swap some parts around to make the stainless one work, or move the black trim to the black and red one to black it out. So we'll see what happens. I just figured as many people as I seen saying the white/orange one was ugly, someone would want to swap. lol
