Nope, been working flawlessly for about a week now. It is one of the "Sample" pre-production models, too. So it must just be hit or miss with them.

So if it has the glitch it will show up right away out of the box or does it take some time to show up?

I've only had the one, but it did it the very first time I used it when the battery got down to half. But I don't know if that's the norm or not.

I just got an ultrasonic cleaner yesterday and I plan to try and clean a couple of coils that way. I figure it will either work or it won't! I really don't think there is any chance of the coils breaking down. They are really hard, almost like teeth!

I have an UC to.It cleans mah teeth 'cept the back molars.I need a bigger one cause I can't get my head in all the way

I have been 2 weeks on this Target Mod with the C-cell ceramic coil tank that came with the kit

.88 ohms kanthal coil and still going strong........same flavor I use in the tank all the time so can't

speak for changing flavors or cleaning the coil-------------usually I put my coil heads in a small prescription pill

bottle and put in 2 inches of Vodka and then after 3 days take it out and set aside for another 3 days and

seems to work fine.........

I finally got around to trying a few different flavors... flavor change is as effortless and complete as it is with rayon. Which is to say that all you have to do is empty the tank and vape it to almost dry and then add a new flavor. You might get a hit or two of crossover, but then it's all new juice! I have to say that I was VERY impressed with that aspect of it!

I have no idea. Thats part of my question lol. Is TC the cats meow or what? I think my mod (Cuboid) is capable of it, but Ive never used that feature. Are both coils equally good as far as the taste everyone seems to love? Im not opposed to picking up both, if they are both worth trying.

Personally, I'd stick with the kanthal and just run it in power mode... I wasn't impressed with the nickel coils in TC (now throw an RTA on it with a titanium build, and you're good to go). That's my two cents... for whatever that's worth to ya man. The tank will come with one of each, so at least you'd get to try the nickel and see if it works for you or not.

I totally agree with @Kaezziel. I was not impressed with the nickel coil on the Target, either. The flavor was still outstanding but I don't care for the way the mod runs that coil in TC. The kanthal one is so good I am fine with running mine in VW mode with kanthal, though. But, everyone has their own preference. This just happens to be mine.

I've got a target and a pack of coils in the mail. Sweetvapes apparently ran out of them and delayed my order. I hope the Ni coils don't suck because that's what I bought.

I thought they worked pretty good for TC coils. However, I prefer the kanthal, but I'm not a huge fan of TC to begin with.

The screen glitch/overheating issue is common (I'm on my fourth replacement now). According to Vaporesso, it's an issue with interference from the PCBA affecting only a few in the first two production runs, but by the number of comments/messages I've had from other having the same problem, I'm not sure about that claim. I've included the email I got back from Vaperosso (they only responded after I sent them a link to my Youtube videos)

From my experience with the 4 I've had to date... When the units are affected by this problem, you may notice intermittent 'low power'/no hits (especially while running in TC mode) with a fully or almost fully charged battery. When the battery actually does get low (seems most often between 20-30%) the screen will glitch and go crazy. You can clear it by removing/replacing the battery, but if you leave it with the screen messed up, it will overheat behind the display. It's happened twice to me now when it started to glitch and I didn't realize right away, got quite hot both times. Hoping they come clean and get the faulty units replaced before someone has a real bad problem. Since it only happens when the battery is low, I'm not sure if it will have enough juice to actually start a fire or anything (just a single 18650 thank god), but if someone were to plug it into the pass through charger without noticing it's glitching, it may become a real problem.

The latest replacement they have sent me is arriving today. I will test it thoroughly and I will post an update once that is done. They say this one is from a new batch, and that it won't have the same problem as the rest. They've passed along to me that anyone seeing this problem should email and arrange to have the unit replaced.

Thanks for this. I've had the glitch on one of my Target's three times now. Just now had it happen again so I shot a video and took a pic. I actually purchased my Target kit from eightvape so I'm going to shoot them an e-mail today to see about a replacement.
