For those of you looking for glass tubes to fit the Pro V endcaps, the Siam Mods glass tubes will work but I have to qualify that statement. The fit of the caps is snug enough but the outside of the tube is not quite flush. Also, perhaps due to the height of the beveled top cap, the carto just barely reaches the o-ring in the top cap. I'm using the regular size siam glass with a standard length boge carto so can't speak to the XL size. But it does work... no leaks and I can grab the pv by the tank and lift with no slippage.

Also the green glass tank I received has decorative ridges 1/3 from top and bottom which may exaggerate the flare of the glass at top and bottom. Possibly, with the clear or blue tanks, the flare past the outside edge may not be as pronounced due to the fact that they are straight tubes.

Regardless, if you're not a nitpicker, imho it looks and works fine although for the price of a Pro V and the Siam glass you could just as easily buy a Prive tank but they aren't glass either.

That looks very nice on your Provari; I wouldn't have thought to get the green tube, but I do like that look.

So, the new 25mm OCD tank is here. I got the 25mm, XL length, and this is how it looks on an SB. I personally think it looks amazing, still loving the thin endcaps. The PV is still a hair wider, 25mm vs 26mm SB, if you're really OCD about it (pun fully intended), not a dealbreaker for me. It's a BIG tank lol.

Didn't get a chance to mess with it/fill it up yet, so I compared it with the Phiniac Black tank (also XL length).

Wow! That IS a big tank. Bigger than I thought that they would be. It looks almost as big as the 7ml pyrex tanks that Ray at Valley View Vapes sells, the Triple V.

Thanks for posting! :headbang:

Yeah I'm loving these IBtanked/OCD's tanks. I have 4 of the standard sized ones in XL length in rotation. It's a clean look with the thin endcaps, and they match the provaris (and other smaller diameter tube mods) well. I found IBtanked's link from one of your posts Baditude, so thanks for that!

thanks for posting the photos. ive been wondering if i made the right choice with the 19mm ones for my provari. i was debating if the 25 would be too top heavy looking, and now that i see your photos, i am very pleased i went with the 19mm.

Ok after reading all this thread I don't feel bad about my desicion. I just ordered a IB Tank in Saphire blue with blue acrylic end caps. Then ordered a pack of pre punched carto's in LR and SR. (Don't know yet which I will prefer.). Got some cherry vape drip tips. (I think that the name of them). Plus the slap your momma filler and a couple of other things to go along with it. What I really wanted neither Big Daddy or electronicstix had em in stock. Wait I got to go stalk the mailman or is just 24 hours to soon. Darn Guess I'll just wait. Oh the tank is just a 19mm. Never had a tank so just wanting to try something out.

Tube-check. Endcaps-check. Cartomizers-check. Drip tips-check. Slap-yo-momma tool-check. Your all set. Be sure to review a video on assemblying and filling a tank prior to doing yours. Remember there's generally a learning curve that goes with using cartotanks, but you've already made a sound choice in hardware and tools. Enjoy!

That's great, thank you for sharing your pics, Aoi~! I just emailed Ibtanked to see when they might get in some acrylic caps for the 25mm xl tubes. The acrylic caps are not thin like the ss caps, so I wonder how much coverage of an xl carto each style is. For example, do the thin ss caps leave a little bit of the top (or bottom) of an xl carto showing?

I got the same tank (19mm) in turquoise with the SS caps, and I think you'll very much like your selection. If the cartos your ordered only have one pre-punched hole, they may not feed as good as you want in the default configuration, so you may want to invest in a carto punch as well. Other than that, you should be good to go.

Looks like on my 19mm xl with ss caps there's about 2mm of carto sticking out of the top with the bottom flush. I'm not sure about the acrylic endcaps... perhaps Bad or someone else will chime in.

Thanks, Chohan. That's probably the difference in thickness between the two styles of caps. The acrylic caps do look thicker, so would fill in that 2mm of space.

These are the 19mm acrylic endcaps, showing a flush fit with a Smoktech XL single coil. I don't have any 25mm to compare their thickness to the 19mm. The last info that I read was OCD was still seeking a supplier for the 25mm.

im using smoktek single coil unpunched cartos. punching was a breeze. i punched 1 large hole on one side and 1 small hole on the other side. using the smokteck carto punch from litecig (excellent price, i hope the sharpness on the screw holds up).
my issue was sliding the carto into the tank. i tried forcing that little sucker in but those the o-rings are mega tight. either that or the smoktech cartos are a hair bigger than others. then i tried rocking it in which helped for the bottom. so i fille dit up with juice and tried getting the top on. i straight up Incredible Hulked that thing to no avail. then i tried greasing the carto with ejuice and rocking it and and FINALLY i got it in (after spilling about a milliliter of juce all over the place). i really hope refilling is easier. i do have a tank funnel, but of course even that thing wont fit with its virgin o-ring. but the issue here, the carto was too small this time (really an o-ring issue i guess). i cant win lol. i guess these o-rings will loosen up a tad, but im worried if they do, the tank seal will be compromised. well, i guess i'll just worry about that once this tank is empty (which will be soon bc im loving this damn thing) :D

The OCD tanks do have a nice snug fit on the carto. Certainly won't be an issue of these accidently sliding off a carto like a Smoktech DCT tank (remember PBsuardo's video review?)

Concerning the frustration you experienced assembling the tank with a carto, I can only offer a couple of suggestions that might help. Lubricate the steel carto exterior with some juice right from the start. Try spinning either the carto or the tank while advancing the carto further into the tank, as opposed to rocking (that maneuver might dislodge the inner o-rings).

I read that you got a funnel. I've not tried one of those because the Slap-yo-Moma tool works so well for this. At some point you should consider getting one of these. As I said, it assists in the assembly and juice filling steps, but also acts as a protector of the o-rings, which determine how snug your tank fits on the carto and prevents juice leakage.

It's possible that you made your holes too large in the carto and deformed the carto "out-of-round" or warped it ever so slightly. Warped cartos can be really difficult to slide thru the perfectly round endcaps, especially on a tight-fitting tank like OCD's. Like trying to put a squared peg into a round hole analogy.

I used to use the Siam Mods punch tool from Phiniac, which is supposed to be one of the better punch tools. If I made the holes too large it would deform the carto more, or after awhile the sharp point dulled and still deformed the carto. Maybe there are better punch tools out there. I like the looks and design of the Clouds of Vapor punch tool, but it's $40 price tag and frequent unavailability has me grumbling. :p

At that point I decided to buy all my carto's pre-drilled from Smoktech. I usually order one and two holes pre-drilled, the thin to normal juices get the one holed and the thicker juices get the two holed. The juices wick fine in this setup for me. Only juice I've had issues with is Boba's Bounty, and I don't believe that juice is carto friendly from my experience (thank goodness its not a favorite flavor of mine).

IBTanked just replied to my email and said they don't have any plans to offer the acrylic caps for the 25mm tank at this time.

Can anyone tell me the inside diameter of the 25mm XL tank? I might try and use some of the many grommets I have stashed away for them, as I can't see spending $20 on just the caps for each tank.
