IBTanked just replied to my email and said they don't have any plans to offer the acrylic caps for the 25mm tank at this time.
That's disappointing. I was hoping to get a 25mm tube with acrylic caps for my Silver Bullet.

I prefer color endcaps aesthetically over stainless currently. All my APV's are either black, white, or satin blue, and they look better to me topped off with more color than shiney metal. Just my preference.

Someone who has an endcap for the Triple V pyrex tank from Valley View and a 25mm tube from IBTankedshould should check to see if they are compatible with one another. Both hold approximately 7 ml of juice and appear to be nearly the same diameter.

They are roughly the same outside diameter, but the Triple V pyrex is much thicker. As for the IBTanked, with an inside diameter of 20.4mm, the 25mm tank glass is basically 2.3mm thick, where as the Triple V glass is about 4mm thick. Fatter o-rings could be used on the Triple V cap to make it fit, I suppose. But I wouldn't bother with that. I'm going to just skip the big IBTanked for now until they offer the colored acrylic caps to fit them.

For those of you looking for glass tubes to fit the Pro V endcaps, the Siam Mods glass tubes will work but I have to qualify that statement. The fit of the caps is snug enough but the outside of the tube is not quite flush. Also, perhaps due to the height of the beveled top cap, the carto just barely reaches the o-ring in the top cap. I'm using the regular size siam glass with a standard length boge carto so can't speak to the XL size. But it does work... no leaks and I can grab the pv by the tank and lift with no slippage.

Also the green glass tank I received has decorative ridges 1/3 from top and bottom which may exaggerate the flare of the glass at top and bottom. Possibly, with the clear or blue tanks, the flare past the outside edge may not be as pronounced due to the fact that they are straight tubes.

Regardless, if you're not a nitpicker, imho it looks and works fine although for the price of a Pro V and the Siam glass you could just as easily buy a Prive tank but they aren't glass either.
I received my Siam Mods pyrex tube today in the mail from COV. I emptied my Pro-V tank, disassembled and cleaned the parts, and attempted to fit the Pro-V caps onto the new pyrex tube.

It fits loose. :( There is no play of the caps side to side, but lifting the caps off of the tube requires no effort at all.

It's so close, I'm wondering if thicker o-rings will seal the deal?

Any suggestions on where to go to find o-rings of this size? A hardware store? Which department?

Chohan's tube is the green standard length. My tube is an XL length, blue color. I wouldn't have thought there'd be that much difference in the inner tube diameter between different tube lengths or colors.

Bad, I doubt there is any difference. I noticed on mine that I can stick a fingernail under the edge of the topcap and pry it up with slight effort but I wouldn't call it loose unless I'm comparing it to my phiniac. I was also considering a slightly thicker o-ring enough that I took it to work one night and hunted a couple up out of the maintenance room but I never used them. I went ahead and filled it with juice and maybe that swelled the stock rings a bit but I can say it's never leaked nor have I ever pulled an endcap off by accident.

I'm sure a slightly thicker o-ring would snug it up more. Maybe just take one of the replacement o-rings they sent you to a hardware or plumbing store and tell them what your after. The ones I dug up may actually be too thick but I'd be glad to mail them to you if you can't find some anywhere else and wish to try them.

Just send me a pm later with your address if think you're going to need them.

Thanks for your offer, Choham. I'm planning on checking out some home improvement dept stores today. I also read that NAPA auto parts sells o-rings. I'm bringing the tank and the extra o-ring that came with it along with me.

I assembled the Pro-V and glass tube with a carto and a tight fitting drip tip (siam mods ss) last night w/o filling with juice, and this morning everything is fitting pretty snug. If I was extremely careful I think that I'd be ok using that at home. But I don't think I'd feel safe using it outside of home because I wouldn't want an messy accident to happen.

ima try the green tank from cov.. i guess thats the only one that fits so far right?
I'm not convinced yet that the other two colors won't fit. They do fit but just not as snug as I like. As I said above, there is not side-to-side movement of the caps on the tube. And with the carto and a snug drip tip assembled on the tank overnight, it actually is fitting more snug than when I first assembled it w/o the carto/drip tip on.

Mine is the exact same but I repeat, I've never had an accident yet due to the fit of the endcaps. The outside o-ring fit reminds me of the fit on my first tanks, the smoktech 3.5ml skinny tanks with the rubber endcaps. My only accident with this tank was when I had it and my phiniac inside my little phiniac leather pouch at work two nights ago and dropped it on the gritty concrete from about 4 ft.

The glass on the siam tube cracked but the phiniac made it through undamaged, just the way the pouch landed I guess. But the endcaps never came off, it still doesn't leak and I didn't even notice it had a crack until last night at work when I was vaping from it. It seems the crack is mostly on the outside but it's hook shaped so it'll probably wind up growing like a cracked windshield. I need to replace it but CoV is out of stock on all the regular sizes.:(

Speaking of work...

later mates.

Further update on using the Siam Mods pyrex tank on the Pro-V caps:

Based on what Chohan said about his Pro-V/SiamMods tank, I decided to fill mine with some juice w/o changing the o-rings to something thicker. I allowed the tank to settle for a few hours, and then vaped on it. I used a SS Siam Mods drip tip which fits tight in the carto, and so far the tank feels tight and is working great. I think the juice causes the o-rings to swell a little, so the caps feel snug.

Hello, I see everyone is going nuts over the IBTanks/OCD. I have the larger sized ones and love them. Because the endcaps are thinner it holds 5ml of juice + what the carto holds(almost 6ml) Heres a photo of the clear with stainless endcaps and a photo of my Kir Fanis Varadero tank. It doesnt hold as much juice, about 2ml, but it is a beauty and now that I see the Siam glass will work Im going to get one.

BTW. The kir fanis tank is not pyrex its a material that looks and feels and its heavy like glass. Its not the usual polys that most un-glass tanks use.
