I'd really appreciate it if you could check if the glass tube from IBTanked happens to fit the Pro V caps.

Well after my Ibtanked package got "missent" courtesy of USPS I finally received them today and I love the tanks but no, the Pro V caps are too large to fit the IBTanked. The IBT are very nice glass and super thick which makes the inner diameter smaller. Here's some pics:

with the Pro V in mini size tube from Vaporfexion

Here's the regular size IBT glass I ordered

So let me know if you find a glass tube that'll work /w the pro v please.

I will. The only other pyrex tube that might work is the Siam mods pyrex tube. I know that its glass thickness is thinner. But I think they want $15 for the tube, more than the IBTank's $5. Siam Mods - Glass Tanks

Thanks for the link. I sent them an email asking for the i.d. in mm. I'm gonna take my Pro V tube into work and measure it on the digital micrometer.

My 3 new tanks from OCD arrived today from IBTanked. Only 2 pics for now.

I did try to fit the Pro V endcap onto one of the OCD glass tubes. Chohan is correct, no fit (not that I doubted you.).

I like those caps, especially the blue ones.

On the subject of the Pro V endcaps, I think the Siam Mods tubes might fit. Bruce S. from CoV was timely in returning my email inquiry and said the i.d. on those tubes was 16mm. The Pro V tube that I measured at work came in at 15.85mm... sounds promising.

cheers,
cho

That's a good price, but shipping from Australia to the US would probably eat up the difference between there and CoV. But if your in Australia, it's probably a really good deal.

On another note, looks like IBTanked might have the SS caps back in stock today. I'm going to place an order for the solid turquoise tank with SS caps this weekend, and the color should match the blue LED on my Precious (ProVari) pretty well. :D

Does anyone know if any other cap will fit the IBtanked glass or is their sizing only fit their own caps? Thanks.

It seems to me that the OCD tanks are a unique size, so I really doubt any other caps will fit their tubes.

Out of curiosity, what were you looking for? He has the stainless steel in 3 colors, and the acrylic endcaps come in several color choices. Prices are certainly affordable compared to other vendors.

Just curious since I already have caps for various tanks but their prices certainly are affordable. Plan on buying the entire set. Thanks.

Sagewood Glass offers new Pyrex Tank

I came across the following video on YouTube today. You may be familiar with a relatively new vendor on ECF called Sagewood Glass who makes some rather beautiful pyrex glass drip tips to rival those made by Trippy Tips and Hot Vapes. Well, this vendor appears to be offering a pyrex tank now. Their design reminds me of my High Desert glass tank that uses silicone grommets that fit between the glass tube and cartomizer. These new Sagewood Glass tanks have a side juice fill hole that uses a silicone plug, and a glass tank tool (similar in function to the Phiniac tank tool) to aid in tank assembly. The demo said these tanks will hold 3ml of juice in addition to what is in a standard sized cartomizer.

I don't believe they have an online store yet, but Sagewood Glass does have a vendor thread here on ECF and can be contacted via an email address seen in the video details.

Above pic is my custom pyrex tank from High Desert Vapors. The design of the Sagewood Glass pyrex tanks in the above video look very similar to me to the High Desert tanks. The silicone grommets in the High Desert tank fit relatively snug on both the tube and carto; however the tank can be slid up and down on the carto with minimal effort, so care should be taken not to pick up the PV by the tank itself, but by the PV only to prevent a juice spill. I can't speak about the Sagewood Glass tank as I don't have one.

IBtanked has 25mm OD (outside diameter) tank in standard/XL length now. Just ordered one. I'll try to remember to post a picture. This should sit really well with some of the bigger mods, SB, etc.
I was just on the site last night helping a newer vapor order their first tank. He updated the site for easier navigation and for the ordering process. And I noticed the larger tanks now available. I think OCD is quickly becoming a major player for glass tanks in the vaping community. The variety that he offers nearly rivals even the Phiniac site, at a far more economical price, and Phiniac's been at it far longer.

Yeah I'm loving these IBtanked/OCD's tanks. I have 4 of the standard sized ones in XL length in rotation. It's a clean look with the thin endcaps, and they match the provaris (and other smaller diameter tube mods) well. I found IBtanked's link from one of your posts Baditude, so thanks for that!

Edit: added picture

Your welcome! :thumb:

I like them a lot, too. Quality tube and endcaps, o-rings that do their job, and a great price for beginners and vets alike. Because of their simplicity and affordability, and the option to add something a little more unique to your collection with the artsy painted tube and endcaps, I'm going to be highly recommending his product.

I have a variety of tanks, but my go-to tanks are definintely Phiniac and OCD for ease of use and reliability. I like them both equally for quality, but OCD beats Phiniac hands down for price. Their customer service is good, too.

Here's a newish link for those searching for an OCD. http://www.ibtanked.com/

Yes, please do post a picture of the larger size once you get it. I just got my standard/XL in the mail today (solid turquoise) and I'm really liking the textured finish and the SS end caps. Absolutely a great tank for the price!
