Mik,

Mick37

Imeo and the entire GG family will help you know problem, probably the best customer service there is on any PV. Your answers are probably in the AFS technical thread or another one so instead of having a second thread on the same issue yours might have been closed. Look under the GG threads at all of them and go to the correct one and post your problems there, someone will get to it in know time at all if not Imeo but he usually gets to it pretty quickly

Well it looks like suppliers to not understand that when we have an issue with a product we can't wait ....if it takes a week to get a problem solved, what I'm going to do for a week ... go and buy cigarets and smoke again till I wait to have the issue fixed ....?
When you buy a product either it works or it doesn't !! There is nothing in between .
Mine DOESN'T!!!

Mick37,

OK I will try to help you out here if I can since I've been in the GG family for a long time and try to get you squared away Mick. Just to let you know your AFS works buddy, there is just a little learning curve to get it. Have you taken off your very top and very bottm Orings ???

So basically instead of answering to my problem regarding the leaking issue you choose to close the thread .....
Well done
Thank you so much for your support , keep up the good work !
Mick,
You can't get it to work as many other users have done so and tried to help you with too.
So, you opened a thread and said you'd had enough and were selling it but now you want to continue discussing it.
Which is it?

I have looked at ALL of this guys other posts and it seems that this guy is a beginner and does not know what is going on with the atomizer and has nothing good to say about anything in the PV world.

My suggestion to MICK is to find something that works. Keep that device working, and fiddle around with the higher end devices and when you get that working then you can put down the others, but always always keep something working. Because nicotine addiction is just that. Believe me I know your frustrations. But if you keep trying you will figure this out. There is a very fine line between it working and it FLOODING AND LEAKING!!!!

Yep, Mick seem to be a beginner who is not attempting to source answers just blame the equipment. 70 burnt cartos in two weeks, yeah.. not you :)

I would suggest yet again as you live in Melbourne, jumping on Whirlpool and irc://irc.aussievapers.info/AussieVapers and find out about the Friday night meet ups. You need to talk to guys who have working gear who will point out what is going on or if your expectations are too high.

You asked for help, I asked you to post pictures of your AFS....

But I'll happily buy your AFS as they are terrible bits of gear and I need another one cheap :)

Oh and your GGTS (do you have one) must be in need of a new home and I will also gladly buy this too.

My advice for Mick is to learn how to drip, so he can at least get some nicotine in his system while he's learning how to make everything else work. I know from experience how frustrating it is to fiddle with some nic-producing contraption when you want some nic NOW! I might even have sounded a bit testy in some of my posts (har!), but I think everyone understood it was the nic withdrawall talking.

So Mick, do yourself a favor and keep a working set-up handy while you're learning something new.

I think if we were honest we would all have to admit to getting a little frustrated and cranky trying to get our nic fix.:):):)

I dunno how many times the first month..I'd spend hrs with an analog in my mouth, puffin' away..and fiddlin' with my 510 carts trying to get them to vape right. I think I killed about 5 attys the first month...but then I found out it wasn't the equipment at all..but the Rootbeer juice I had DIY'd before I found out how bad Caramel Color is for attys! Everything about e-cigs is a learning curve...but once you figure it out..from reading for hrs and days right here on this forum...it does work and it works very very well!

When I first got my AFS I had juice leaking out of the holes by the control ring. though after persisting for a few days and reading all the helpful info in this forum I got the "knack" of it and have not had any juice since leak.

I have not removed any 'O' rings or put blue foam in the AFS... just worked out by trial and error when to open and close the control ring... if it gurgles or after a refill I vape it with the ring fully open until the vaper starts to get a dry taste. Then I close the control ring to just leave a small amount and take one primer drag and I am away again.

It DOES take practise.. you can't just pick this thing up and expect it to work straight away.. there is a learning curve.

I personally do not think his AFS is 'leaking' but rather just flooded.

I do hope he persists and get it's working for himself.

Having just drip'ed this afternoon whilst washing my AFS I could never go back to dripping full time now... it just does not have the consistent hit you get from AFS.

O yea I have to admit this can and has been a very frustrating road down the vaping trail but it has been ONE YEAR this week!!! The first month I blew a few atties too until I realized they were consumable throw away items. I would suggest the same thing quasimod said. Learn to drip and then pick up the AFS after you KNOW for sure what is going on with the atty. They are easily flooded and easily run dry too. Your taste buds tell the whole story. You have to keep the atty on the verge of running dry to perform best. It is hard to do but once mastered it works and works well!!!
