mick,

From day one my AFS description has had at the very top:

"---===> This is an advanced user device and is not intended to be a "plug and play" add-on. There are no returns or exchanges. If you are not experienced with e-Cigarettes in general then we do not recommend this device."

I cannot find anyone in our system from Laguna Beach that has bought an AFS. Can you PM me the order #?

Thanks
Rob

Exactly Rob ( I applaud you ), I personally think this purchase of the AFS was a second hand purchase after reading all these post and some of this guys other post in other colums, and hes trying to get new money back for it, jusy my opinion.!!

99.99999 percent of people owning an AFS love this piece of equiptment and wouldnt give it up for anything, acccept one person.? This is smelling fishy to me, anybody else?

HoPeFuLL,

A new AFS from Rob would be your best bet, the difference in what your gonna pay for this used one compared to a new one would be money well spent, just my @0.02, do you really want a second hand one that has probably been ripped apart a bunch of times and messed with and god knows whats been put into it and who knows who vaped off of the thing, im just saying ya know, there is nothing like a brand new AFS & the fifference from 75 to 107 or so isnt that much, make sure you really want that smelly fish ya know HoPeFuLL

Funny Robs last post that is, as this guy is now scrambling to find the order number from the guy who originally purchased it, and he never replied to Rob, Rob I would be careful, he's gonna give you a bogus name and address next from the guy he purchased it from second hand, there is noway this guy is a real vapor wanting to return an AFS in my eyes, and I think this whole thing was a sham

There is an order in our system that matches what he posted. The last names match as well. He said he had it sent to a relative which forwarded it on to Australia.

Mick, I'm not sure if your AFS is defective or if it just perhaps isn't the device for you to use.

How would you like us to proceed?

Thanks
Rob

Mick, my advice to you is to keep the device and not send it back for refund. Sooner or later you will manage way to make it work the way you need it to. Believe me, even if you put it aside for a while, you'll still be lucky to have it. Don't throw it away that easily. A time will come when you'll need it and you'll make it work properly.

PS:
1- By the picture you posted, you can safely remove the upper O-ring. It might be over sized and you can do without it anyway, like I did.
2- It is worth checking if the bottom O-ring is not damaged and/or if the connection when you screw it in is tight enough. I need to use pliers sometimes to tighten it enough.
3-All atomizers are not the same. It is worth noticing that a light draw atomizer, makes the AFS leak much more than a tight draw atomizer. Possible solution: Open the Control ring to the maximum when you're vaping. The ring itself will collect leakage and keep it. You'll just have to use a towel each time you need to close back the Control ring because you'll be pushing whatever the CR collected, out. And if by opening the CR to the maximum, the draw becomes too much light to your taste, you can seal the holes with a transparent tape all around, then open as much as you need of them to adjust your draw, with a needle.

Rob, I'll try first and replace all o-rings with new ones and try with new atties - maybe that will fix it.It also might be because the side holes on the I6 and I7 are kinda too big and might flood them... we'll see.
If it doesn't , I'll contact you and see what we can do. Thanks

Just an update - I have changed now all the o-rings and the leaking has stopped. Now it has no leak at all with cartos and just a normal leak with the atties from the vent holes when I close or open the CR.
All good now

I have a suggestion for manufacturer - if possible to include a spare o-rings kit with the AFS or offer them for sale - I had a really hard time finding the right sizes
back to my GG now :toast:

SO glad to hear you sorted out your problem. I know that it can be pretty frustrating when things don't work properly. Heck I just filled up my V2 and totally forgot to close the CR and what do you think happened? I got a handfull of juice. O well vape less tonight I guess.. hehehhe... Its bound to happen when you are trying to keep that much juice contained.
