Hi Clyde, I can't answer your questions directly, but I am well into my third week with the same carto at 7.4v. So I don't think you will have any problems at 6v or 3.7v IMHO. Daz

Loaded one monday night... got 20 hours out of it, replaced it with another one got 1 hour out of it.

Took a nail and hammer to a carto, have been vaping non-stop ever since.

It just makes me sad I have to use 6.0v... I need a carto that can take 7.4v so I can use the cool sleeve Stormy sent me.

I love the 7.4 Emonty, I have my v2 AFS on another mod with sleeves at the moment running 2 x 18650 Batts and OMG is it good, taste not quite as good as 5-6 v but one dam thick vaperage which makes up for the little bit of missing flavor for me, also setting the CR just right helps a lot.

For me taste is the most important and as you can see from the short video I made, no lack of vapor :toast:. the throat hit is also just perfect and the carto lasts for ever! But taste is something personal, anyway happy you are also happy my friend!!!. If I will go 7.4, the I will use the IR AW 3.7 batties, nice and small. Hopefully Lisa will have HR carto's soon, so we will all have a big party!! :D:D

mwa102464: post another one, we will have the same amount op posts!!!!!!

i guess my next question would be why doesn't everyone buy stainless steel cartomizers as they are the same price as the black ones with a label? Seems the cleaning is the worst part of this mod.

Also, do I need a drill press to make this hole in the cartomizer?

there are mostly carto's with label and to tell you frankly :I am using one with the label kept on, no difference ;-)

A drill press? Just get a good drill and make the hole, first make a small dent with whatever tool to start off, that way it is easier to make the hole. I takes me now 30 seconds to make a perfect hole, with that no sweat at all ;-)

What do you use to keep the cartomizer from spinning out of control when you drill the hole if you aren't using a drill press? Are you using vice grips or something?

yes vice grips, not too tight or you can use your hands, if you dent it first with an etching tool to make the mark-up it goes like butter, control the depth, just the metal, don't go deep

Yea I busted through and got into the center tube on two before I got it right. That center tube is only made from a light cardboard and it very easily pierced. And if you try using a drill bit it will wind up in the filler material and it will be useless then. I messed up one that way at first. And yes I use vise grips to hold the little bugger down while I operate on it......

In fact I think its time to go out to the work bench and pop a few holes in these new ones that just came in all the way from the UK.... thanks Lisa!
