Just got my AFS MouthPiece and must say WOW!!! Im impressed how this can work so good with no liquid in mouth at all. Just popped in my new I7 with a full tank and using it for first time. Perfect! Cant wait to get the stainless steel mouthpiece when Rob gets them in. Great stuff IMEO!

Yes the mouthpiece totally completes the GG and has a great feel to it. I do wish it was about 5mm shorter though.

my first prototype was 5mm shorter Keith!!!!!!!!!;);)
But my lips where touching the AFS all the time. Thats the reason I made it 5mm longer")

So do we have a definitive o-ring update yet? I have removed the small top cap, bottom top cap and brass o-rings, but I still have leaking issues. They are much smaller issues, but I still get leaking around the 8 holes and at the bottom of the brass part. I would imagine we need all 3 o-rings replaced to make this how Imeo designed the AFS, but no instructions on exact sizes for each replacement o-rings have been given. Can someone please give the exact o-ring size replacements so I can order them to stop this consistent leaking from my AFS?

Thanks,
Zaiden

Not sure if its here i should talk or not but
i have a consistency problem with afs and i6.
It's like i have ton constantly adjust the control ring, and 2 of 5 puffs smell burnt and stuff. So i have to reprime the atty, but then it's overflooded, and i'm drinking juice.
When it work, it's close to perfection, but the fact i can't achieve consistency in my vaping is really starting to bother me.. any "tricks" ?

The Orings were put on the two top caps for cosmetic purposes so don't worry about those two. The one at the base of the brass part measures 14mm X 2mm (I think that was the one I took off from there anyway) What I have been doing is if I hear that gurgling sound from the atty I take the brass part off and blow out the atty and wipe out the collection area.

So basically there is no way to have a dry AFS? It's better than dripping, but it would be nice to have someway to contain this liquid from coming out of the holes on the AFS. I read a suggestion about some kind of foam ring, but I'm not very good with that kind of stuff and wish it came with the AFS when I bought it. At the very least a video on exactly what to buy and step by step directions on how to put it in the AFS would be nice.

Well the AFS is an awesome device when you compare it to dripping and messing around with carts. If you have ever used those cart mods they can be a messy challenge to say the least. We are still working out ways to deal with these minor inconveniences and will provide the information as we get it for sure. An instruction manual is a great idea but things change so fast around here we would be updating the thing just about every day...heheheh...

MWA has had success with the 510 using an adapter from 901 to 510 and I do not think there would be any reason for holes in the atty. Juice would flow in through the two holes on the threads and air would pass through the center pole. The only problem I had with this set up was that my 901-510 adapter would not thread onto the AFS connection. Need to work on the threads cause they are too deep. But you can be sure as soon as I get that connection made I will be giving the 510 a go in the V2. I was able to use the 510 in the beta tank but I had laser holes in a few test samples. It worked pretty good but it needed a special mouthpiece. Looking at the V2 and the 510 with a 901-510 adapter it would fit without modification at all.

I guess I'm looking for Imeo to provide any answers if possible to the leaking issue. I see on his videos and comments that there should not be a single drop of liquid coming from the AFS after removing the o-rings, but it seems this is not the case for the majority of us. Are we doing something wrong? Using the AFS incorrectly? I can live with it leaking the amount it does...just have to keep a napkin around to sop up the seams around the control ring every so often, but if there is a way to avoid this...I'm ALL ears.

Hi Zai my friend:)

If you have leakage issue from the brass connector then you have to put o-ring back in place.

As for the leakage from the 8 holes, its because when you refill the tank, the air that is inside tank push liquid on the atty. You have to have the 8 holes closed with the CR before close the tank. To avoid big amount of liquid on the atty (so leakage from its center lole, and so leakage from the 8 holes), you have to close the cap slow after refilling.
If you still see some drops from the 8 holes then you can put filler around the 4 holes of the connector. That way filler will keep the liquid inside it. This filler is the material that is inside the empty carts or the material they use in aquariums.:)

Thanks for the response Imeo. I originally took off the brass o-ring because I had leaking from that area. If I put it back on...I'll still have the same issue as before. Should a different size o-ring have been put in it's place? You had to have a reason to request everyone to remove it so I'm looking for a way to permanently fix this issue.

I close the CR everytime I refill and turn the top cap very slowly. It's not an initial leaking and that's that. I have non-stop slow leaking from both the 8 holes and the brass connector. Every now and then I will get more liquid than normal leaking out and it will run down my GGTS cap.

Can you be more specific about this filler? Exactly what to buy and the amount to buy along with a picture or video on how you install it? I'm a very visual person...not sure I understand until I see it done.

The filler is like this - Amazon.com: Hagen Fluval Foam Inserts 3 Plus 4pk: Kitchen & Dining.

There are blue ones as well which should work too. Basically you would need to cut the foam and put it around this brass piece inside, like a mini ring to stop any leaking from the 8 holes...

Hope this helps some....

Thank you so much for the pictures. That was what I was looking for. How often will this filler need replaced? Will adding this filler close the air holes making it harder to bring in the vapor or is that not a concern? I was really hoping to avoid the use of any filler if it's going to need to be replaced on a daily basis.

Is everyone else experiencing leaking from their AFS? I want to make sure it's not just me having these problems.:vapor:
