Well... he asked if my nicotine came from the tobacco plant and I really didn't know how to answer him.

It's EXTRACTED from a tobacco plant, NOT PRODUCED from it.

Therefore NOT a tobacco product.

I think the point he was trying to make was if my nicotine came from tobacco, then I was still shackled to tobacco.

Tell him if he eats tomatoes or egg plants, he's still shackled to tobacco also.

Or...

When they find a cheap enough way to extract it from watermelons you'll be addicted to a whole new crop. Lol
