Mine arrived too. Have to say I´m really impressed with the build quality of this thing. My first build was my standard 2 mm ID "flavor coil" I also use in my doggies: 6-7 wraps of 32 GA simple twisted SS wire, contact coil. Building and wicking is very easy on this thing, thanks to the two "velocity style" posts that hold the wire (no wire slipping as in the doggie or Kayfuns). I was concerned at first when I saw the two tiny juice holes at the bottom of the juice channels, but the juice flow is perfect so far, no dry hits. The top airflow gives a lot of options for every need, from restricted lung hit to ultra tight. No seeping or gurgling so far.
I have to experiment with the coil though... unfortunately right now I can´t get the rich and sweet taste I´m used to get from my juice in the doggies... I mean it´s not bad, lots of throat hit, but it´s just not there where I need it. Also two other downsides I found:
- it doesn´t fit on the istick Pico (other 24 mm RTAs did, it´s tight but it worked)
- it´s a juice drinker! the first 4 ml were gone so quickly, it was frightening

It does seem ID 3MM seems to work best for flavour in the Ammit, loads of surface area getting ful air coverage and have no choice but have the coil in the perfect position else it will be shorting.

I thought it was just my imagination 15W MTL and it's getting through the same amount of juice as when i DL using the Zeus at 40W, quite incredible.

Thanks will definitely try that this evening. So far 2 mm coils always gave me the best flavor but maybe this RTA is really different...

IMG_20181029_174430.jpg Mine arrived today. I am very surprised because the draw is very loose, at the smallest hole it is comparable with the 3rd or maybe 4th hole at Siren 2. I didn't find this information in any review and I am a bit disappointed about this. It is a very nice atomizer for those who prefer a loose draw but I am used with Siren 2 and Berserker and for me it is not the best option.

You can split any of the holes and reduce air flow.

Can be loose or as tight as you like, not used the Siren 2 but i can get just as tight a draw than on the Berserker although personally i wouldn't want it that tight, i don't understand this the tighter it is the more it's like smoking a cigarette notion. I have never had a cigarette tailored or roll up where i needed to suck as if i was sucking a straw.

After a few days with the Ammit I must sadly conclude that I don´t like it much... unfortunately. There´s so much to like about this tank, great build quality, doesn´t leak, easy build, no dry hits... it´s just that the draw and vape is not good for me. The taste of my juice is OK, but even selecting a small air hole with AFC does not give me the same satisfying MTL draw I´m used to have with my doggies... there´s not much vapor produced, and strangely enough it makes me cough immediately... I guess it´s true what they say that proper MTL is only achieved by ONE small airhole right below the coil and a small chamber... I guess the chamber is just too big for MTL, and in combination with that 3 way airflow it does not satisfy me.... the doggy is MILES ahead! I´m not sure yet if I will sell it or put it in the storage box for later.

2weeks in and Im not totally liking it either. Its all as you say, it is well made, it doesnt leak, easy to build and hard to wick wrong.
The draw is not terrible but not perfect for me either. Theres so much I like about the ammit mtl but where it matters, the draw, its not wworking out for me.
Im going to try a few lower ohm coils than Im used to using in my favourite tanks and see if that changes anything.
One thing about this tank, it goes through juice pretty quick!

on going-
since the above quoted post Ive change my preference for draw from tight to looser, cooler, airier.
The Ammit mtl rta has actually become my atty for work or anywhere where a leak and gurgle proof tank is needed.
I now go between 4 or 5 holes open as opposed to the one or two.
I always liked the deck and machining on this rta so Im glad my draw technique changed to suit this tank.

Yep that's my kind of draw with it!

+ Build quality. The machining on this is damn near perfect.
+ Flavor. I just switched back to my Siren V2 and it's pretty muted compared to this.
    - A tad finicky to build on. The post holes are really tiny and so is the deck.
    - Gurgles quite a bit. Works perfectly fine until you need to refill it.
    - Lots of juice runs into your mouth if you vape it slightly tilted.
    - Leaks. Top airflow is usually pretty leak resistant. Not this fella. It leaks through the center pin.

Overall, not really impressed. FT sent me this tank instead of the RDA variant which I ordered, so now I'm even more frustrated.

Sorry just don't recognise what you have described as the Ammit MTL RTA i received, i get no leaking and no gurgling, no juice in the mouth. Most of what you described describes any top airflow that is wicked incorrectly.

Not sure whats going on with your tank but even lying on its side for two hours in my jacket pocket and the ammit mtl doesnt leak one drop or gurgle. If it does gurgle simply blowing through the drip tip clears it up in about 2 or 3 seconds.
None of the minus's you listed, apart from the post holes being tiny, have been part of my experience with the Ammit mtl rta.
Maybe you have an o ring not properly in place or some bad wicking going on.

I just bought the RDA version of this as a christmas present for my wife. The reviews have been great so am really looking forward to setting it up. I've never been into RTA's....bad experience when they first came out and haven't tried again since.

The RDA version is 22mm so will fit the eleaf pico which is also part of the present.:)

Great combination. I use the BF pin on the Ammit and have it most often on an OG Pico Squeeze. Great little squonk setup.

Eightvape still has the Ammit on sale for $4.99, I picked up two more of them at that price.

Thanks...yes I probably would have got the squeeze but I use a wholesale website which has amazing prices and they are not carrying the squeeze at the moment. I'm not sure that it would have been a step to far for my wife as well :)

EDIT. I'm based in France by the way :)
