The 2mm works very well in the Killer, (don't have a Penny... yet). I use two strands, or one doubled over. Torch the Ekowool with a chef's torch or hot butane lighter before you cut it, it will help keep it from fraying. That's about the only downside to it, the fraying, but it actually helps promote wicking.

Be careful handling it after you torch it, it stays very hot for several seconds.

I tried wrapping a coil around the eKowool on a needle and it kept fraying and spinning so I couldn't build an acceptable coil. I kept a small amount cause I know that one day I'll get bored enough to screw around with it again. But it's summer break and the kids are home all day now. That is seriously cutting into my rba time!

Oh, and if your guns shy on the RM2, I've never seen one in the classies yet. :)

Yeah, I read about torching it. I'm afraid that by the time I get it I will have forgotten though. I need a sticky pad.

Good to know the 2ml will work in the killer. I'm sure the 3ml will be fine in the Penny. I have these 2 nice expensive RBAs and I'm afraid to pull the trigger on a Reomizer. Go figure.

Although the Penny, and pretty much any outer Oddy ceramic will take a 3mm standard silica the 3mm ekowool may be too big. The stuff is HUGE! The 2mm might actually be a better size, you're going to have to test both.

When you get you Reomizer 2.0 and discover that the flavor and vapor is just as good, if not better than your Penny, plus considerably easier to set up and the Penny end up sitting in a drawer keep me in mind. I've been looking for one, have a Terminator-C V2 headed to me right now. Did I mention I like toys?

Oh, wait, my first wife was named, Penny. Nope, shouldn't be a problem, this one won't nag on me then take half my stuff. Keep me in mind.

I use pretty thin cotton braid in the Penny now so I think it will be ok. We'll see.

Take note that the 3mm size is considerably larger than 3mm, almost like two, 2.5 or 3mm strands welded side by side, it does have a hollow core however.

You weren't kidding! That 3ml is HUGE. A little too big for my Penny but the 2ml is perfect and also works good in my Killer. So....since I have this fat 3ml ecowool and nothing to use it with I had to spring for a Reomizer. That's my justification and I'm sticking to it.

I think I'm going to like this stuff. I can taste the sweet in my Caramel Popcorn where I couldn't with regular silica. It's just as good as cotton but the true test will be with my strawberry. Only cotton brings out the sweet in that. If this ecowood passes the strawberry test then I'll have to stock up on it. Thanks for telling me about it or who ever mentioned it. :)

I ordered the Reomizer today so I probably won't see it for awhile.

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
I'll have to ask Alice if she's blowtorched one yet, or just do it myself. If it's a disaster i'll just palm it off on the wife - she knows no better!

These arent stainless so the blueing may not happen what likely will happen is the plating will start to peel off
