This is what I did... Vapes like a champ and it sucks up every last drop of juice in the Atty.
Someone else has already done this, I just changed it up by making it a U shape.

After using the A7 for a day I just found it too airy for me. I like a tighter draw. I took a round toothpick and plugged one of the air holes with it. The draw now is perfect for ME. Plugging one air hole has also made the vape thicker and more satisfying. I also notice that when I squonk much less juice goes to the catchcup and more is forced into the well of the A7. For me, its been a win/win all around. I know everyone likes different draws on their vape but if you find the A7 too airy you might want to try this. You can always pick the piece of toothpick out if you don't care for it.

Great tip was getting ready to throw it in drawer of my other unused ecig stuff and tried ur toothpick tip all the difference in the world!!!

Happy it worked out for you. Its changed the vaped completely for me.

Anyone buying one of these should give it a good bath in Vodka/Isopropyl alchohol before usingl. Make sure it good and dry before using. I think the A7 may come with some machine oil residue on them and it doesnt taste good at all.

i just held both terminals with my fingers, and twisted it..... no effort at all....

i separated mine as soon as i got it, i have a thing where i would go nuts if i didnt clean it myself before trying it.

I don't know if it is a user error when building the coils or what.. But I use 30awg, 6 wraps for 1.4 ohms. When I throw it on the grand, I get minimal vapor and a pretty harsh throat hit. 1.4 ohms give me my usual 10watts which I am used to. Anyone can give me any tips? I'm familiar with rebuildable attys. All I use are phoenixes.

I think I may have figured out my own problem. I was building my coils off center, like I normally would build them on my phoenixes to get them close to air hole. I built mine over the center hole, since I realized that is where the air is coming in, and much smoother and thicker vapor.

Just got my A7 in today. Boiled it in some soapy water, rinsed thoroughly and dried it. Pulled the wick and made my own. Loaded it up on the VV Grand and I am really liking it so far. As had been mentioned it is a little bit too airy but nothing near as bad as a ZAP. Flavor is really coming through and I like the way the juice sits in the internal wet. Seems almost impossible to run it dry even half heartedly paying attention to squonking.

Only draw back so far for me is it takes a very firm squonk to push the juice all the way up through the air tube. My bottle is half empty so I am sure that contributes. Just initial impressions but has exceeded expectations so far.

Question to you A7 users. Have you been able to spin the posts at all? Mine are set up with the holes pointing in in completely different directions, making for odd coil shapes and long 'legs'. Not at all set up like the Chalice posts where the holes line up for an evenly centered coil.

I half heartedly tried to spin one but it didn't budge and I didn't want to force it too much.

Yes, both posts unscrew. I disassembled my A7s entirely to clean them. I just put a tweezer leg through the post holes to unscrew them.

I have had no problem with the way the holes are, I put one wire through the front of the hole and the other in the opposite side and I end up with the coil smack in the center and get great air to the coil.

another thing I like about this RBA is the gurgle factor..if you are drawing and squonking, you get the gurgle! I guess this is because the air holes are down at the connector instead of up on the body like the ERA, for example.

It's been mentioned before but bears repeating. It is imperative that you clean this puppy before using it, unless motor oil flavor is what you are after in a vape..

and I like the airy draw..feels to me about like a cisco 306 with a Cannon drip tip
