When I am looking at different devices sometimes I think " Man, people are gonna think this is a cool looking setup!" but then I realize, that I have NO "people". Actually, the folks that see my gear are more like " What the heck is that?!?!?" and their eyes glaze over and they lack enthusiasm when I tell them that I built this setup with a 1.2 ohm dual coil setup. So, my question is, do you guys have "vape buddies" or are you the lone wolf that feels everyone around you is truly missing out on appreciating some awesome devices?!?!?

I'm definitely a lone wolf vaper, most of people that I converted are not around me, they're colleague that get together once in a while, beside that I don't need to show off my mod, I buy them because I think it's a cool looking and a good performer mod and I like them, and I vape for a less harmful way to get nic fix even though there're some aspect that kinda be hobby. :toast:

I'm in the same boat.... i have converted about 15 people from analogs to ecigs and all of them have said the same thing " wow.. that huge!! I like my pen style better !!! " I do have like 1 or 2 people that do appreciate the .5 ohm coil I built on my gunny or my rda ect... but that's why I stalk this forum because every one here is nice and easy to talk to. Plus every one is very supportive even if your new or a veteran.

Lone wolf. I have not seen another vaper in my area. I really don't care what others think about what this is since I'm using it for battery life and ease of use. I could use cig-a-likes or a more discreet setup but then I would have to carry too much stuff with me. I've been using this setup since December of last year and is just as easy, for me now, as smoking used to be. If not easier since I don't have to worry about lighting a cig in the wind ;)

My setup is Provari with extension cap and nova 3.5 on top. Not a cig-a-like or pen style by any shape or form. Fresh battery in when I leave the house and small bottle of liquid in my purse....good for the day! Just like having a fresh pack of cigs and a lighter back in the day.

EDIT: Wow, I never would have thought, at the beginning of my vape journey, I would ever say that last sentence! Learn your device and all it's quirks and will get easy for you.

I guess I'm both. I have a favorite vape shop that I like to hang out in. As far as my VTR goes, it may be heavy but if I ever find a nail that need to be hammered back in, I got it covered. :)

thats part of our problem, a lack of "real" vape shops. everytime I go into one of the local ego dealers I end up having to explain what is and how does a genesis atomizer work while everyone is puffing on ce4's as their eyes glaze over. lol

The number of vapers at work is increasing, which is nice to see. They ask the more experienced vapers for help all the time.

I like hanging out at vape shops and going to vape meets. I have 4 shops near me now, and I visit them on average of once a week. Often I bring my new mods for all to see, or my favorite setup. I always get into a conversation about what I am vaping with.

Lone wolf. I know people who vape, but rarely see them. The lady I live with, I got her to start vaping, but she could care less about the technical aspects, other than that I supply her with e-liquid and fix her stuff when it breaks. No car, so I have no way to visit the local B&M's. I personally wish I could be more of a social vaper though.

Lone wolf. I've never even seen a "vaper in the wild." When we do go to town and I see someone smoking I have this barely controllable urge to whack them upside the head and ask them why they aren’t using an ecig. Make a point of sucking on my ecig when I go by them, you know, plant the idea in their head.

I'm not sure what I qualify as. I vape wherever I happen to be, but I don't have people to talk about it with. My step-daughter and a sister-in-law both vape but they don't really know much more than how to fill them. The hubby doesn't care to talk about vaping. He will listen but I can read the "is she ever going to shut up?" look on his face.

That's everyone I know who vapes (unless they are lone wolves and I just don't know they do) I'm not real social, and I don't work so my social circle is limited to in-laws, since my family lives in Ohio and I'm in Georgia.
