what turned you off about the peakomizer, DP ?

The flavor and performance were significantly less than their other tank, the Cerotank, which I absolutely LOVE. My Peak was the version that used the Naughty coils, but they do have one that uses the smaller BVC's too. The latter may be better, but I haven't tried it so I can't say that for certain.

My Ceros both use the BVC coils, and I wouldn't trade them for anything.

For whatever it's worth, I love the Naughty coils in my Naughty tanks, but not in the PEAK. I was surprised because I figured it would be a slam-dunk for me.

I was wrong.

It's a Billet Box so the tank is on the inside. Here is a photo from the Billet Box web site showing the insides.

Inside the tank I use either a Billet Bridge or a Diver V2 for the atty..

Truly one of mankind's greatest inventions.

Ever.

Enjoy it, Raq!

Thanks DP, that is surprising. I don't see much written about the Anyvape tanks so haven't really looked at the Cero. I picked up a segatank rba base which I was thinking might fit the atlantis-friendly peak, too, but haven't found the peakomizer at a price I like yet (and I am a very stingy buyer) to do a test-fit. I figure if I absolutely have to take an interest in coiling, that having a rba around which will fit a few different tanks is probably the best way to go and the sega rba seems easy enough to navigate.

I have the multi-coil Peakomizer. First off, after about 30 tanks, I still get a strong stainless steel flavor. It doesn't disassemble, so I can't scrub it good with toothpaste, etc. All the rebuilt Kanger heads I tried are not as good as in a ProTank2 w/AFC. I picked up a blister of Aspire BVCs (not the Naughty coils). I've only used one for about five tanks. The BVC seems better than the Kangers but I can't really tell through the horrible stainless flavor. The draw is super tight, wide open, out of the box. Even after opening it up as much as possible with a needle file, it is still way too tight for my liking. It actually fatigues my mouth muscles doing MTL hits. Don't even think of any kind of a lung hit. Just my :2c:.

We got lucky and grabbed four when they first came out. I think they were only $13.99 each (at the time). I haven't decided whether to get the larger ones yet, given the higher cost ($24.99). For the time being, I'm happy.

Va-va-va-VOOM, J5! Got the CFM boots goin' and everything.

But Kat looks a bit angry. What'd I do?

I started that when she was in her angry state and just finished it that way. I guess I could give her a happier face.

Rat congrats Raq!!! She's a purdy lil thang. Enjoy each and every Tootle Puff!

Not really looking, per se... just admiring. :) I'm actually very pleased with the size of these iStick30s, even though I didn't think I'd like box mods -- these are great! Just more reinforcement for my "never say never" when it comes to vaping... most of the things I said I'd never do.. I'm doing. :D (vaping sweet stuff, building coils, going over 9w, using box mods..)

Andria

You go, girl!

what turned you off about the peakomizer, DP ?

Madame Pill, I am in agreement with both DPL and Sir Alden about the Peaky one. The air flow will find most scratching their little heads wondering..... "how do I DO this?" "Did I change it??" Not only that, but the somewhat "metal" taste that Mr. Alden mentioned is QUITE noticeable. I've got a fave liquid in mine, and it is barely recognizable. I keep wanting to give it a chance, but it's been very disappointing to me.

On another note (previously DPL mentioned), the same company makes an OUTSTANDING tank, and one that is rarely even mentioned in these parts. The CEROTANK is absolutely stunning in every way. I'm truly not sure why it's not gained much popularity..... yet. I think it may do. It is one of my all time favorite tanks.

Y'all got room for one more tootle puffer? My qualifications include having a massive stash of Kanger coils, (blister packed of course, no rebuilding unless I run out of them, which won't be in the foreseeable future :D ) none of which fire below 1.8. Mini Nauti coils at 1.8 are plenty stout enough for me too. Never cranked a mod above 10 watts since I started vaping, never been accused of being responsible for foggin' up a storm front when I enter a room. Don't own an RBA or RDA. I did recently order an iStick 50w, but only 'cause I got a great deal on it and I figure that bad boy will last me at least a week between charges.

It feels so good to admit all this, I don't really venture into the vaping discussion forums much anymore, after reading what some are into, indeed even starting off with, I just feel like an old vaping dinosaur and don't really have any advice to add. So whaddaya say, can I join the official Tootle Puffers Club? I may not be a wicked watt vaper but I do have a wicked sense of humor, so I do score points in entertainment value....;)

You, my dear, KimBee, are MORE than qualified and quite welcome here! Puff on, lil Tootle!

Thanks for the vote Bikenstein. You chase all the clouds you like in here, I'll just sit upwind from ya. By the way, can I call you Bike, or Stein, or just BS? :D

We do NOT chase clouds in here. That's across the hall. ;)

@Katdarling I can't find the link for the tootle puffer spreadsheet. Where ya hiding it?

Oh, alden-sweets, I did not hide, no I did not. I will try again, but last time, the link turned into the whole sheet!

Here ya go....... (hopefully!)

You are a cheeky monkey! :)

Do you by chance have any NON cheeky friends? ;)

Patchouli oil and leather headbands have given way to Ben Gay and bifocals...:)

Oh I do  you!!!

A little Disco Duck maybe??

Aw jeez, now I do feel old! Rick Dees, the performer of this "song" (and I use that term loosely :?: ) was the DJ at my Jr/Sr prom back in 1978. He was a DJ in Memphis at the time, our school was about 100 miles from Memphis. I remember that everyone was so excited that we had a real "celebrity" doing the prom.

We actually did have a real celebrity in our midst, we just didn't know it yet. Sheryl Crow went to our school, she was a year behind me. Saw her first performance at the annual talent show at school.
