Andrea, the Lemo II is heavier than a GSA M....3oz compared to about 2oz but the quality is there and about avg weight for an rta. Top fill is great and 0 leaks if you remember to close the AFC when filling :) I got Vapemail today!

I can't say enough about the GS Air Ms. I have 3 Ms in hand and 1M and 3 MSs on the way and like 5 more iStick 30Ws coming. I am not, however, giving up on the Nauty Mini (with OG coils).

Also have my eye on that Kanger Subbox Mini starter kit. Really want an affordable rebuildable Tootle Puffing device.

I dunno, I'm so completely satisfied with my kayfuns, I'm not terribly motivated to try other tanks. These iSticks would probably carry the weight of a pyrex tank a lot better than the taller tube mods do, so I might not find the weight so displeasing, but you know, if it ain't broke... ;)

If I was to suddenly develop a strong yen for some tank-cracker juice, I'm sure I'd feel quite differently about pyrex.

I got 3 protanks for cracker juice. so far my attempts at making a lemon based cracker juice have been abysmal. Pineapple and coconut are next. Not giving up yet.

I'm still here on ECF... sort of. ;)

Remember these?

DBSB2.jpg

I do! Think you and I might be overdue for a stroll down "I remember when" lane, eh? ;)

Just what I need, another 300+ page thread to catch up on...

No, you do not have to catch up! Just shop, hit the buy button, wait, then vape away. They ARE really good tanks, Alden.

OTOH, I have not given up the pleasures of the Naughties. They've never once given me a problem or a pause, so in the arsenal they stay.

A new Tootler came a few days ago... it may or may not stay.

Looked at them, and bikenstein and I traded remarks about them, and I decided they're not for me; I found the T3S and Mini PT II heads too small and fiddly, and that would undoubtedly apply to the GS Air, which is not even 22mm wide. The Lemo or Lemo II seems to be more my sort of thing. I may try out a Lemo II at some point, that top-filling gets my attention, and the ability to close off the airflow quite tightly, though in general I don't care for the weight of pyrex; I use the tall M-tanks (plastic) with my kayfuns, which helps reduce their weight considerably.

Andria
The lemo is not heavy..... The Pyrex is thinner then what you would find in most tanks. I imagine this would make them easier to break... So if accident prove investing in some replacement tanks would be a good idea :p

That's a great tip, USMC! For me, "accident prone" is putting it MILDLY!!! :D Good to know it's not heavy though. :thumb:

I dropped my pink iStick30 twice, the first day I had it. Fortunately it wasn't wearing a topper either time.

Me too. I know I can rebuild them. I have seen videos on rebuilding the GS Airs, might have to get one of those and learn to rebuild them. I know I can rebuild a kanger style bottom coil in minutes but more options is a good thing.

Anybody who can rebuild those tiny PT coils can rebuild anything! Trust me.

For the RTAs, you'll just have to make your coils a bit differently--the legs need to face in opposite directions from the coil. Piece of cake. Those silly mounting screws are a bit fussy, but you'll figure it out in no time. The GS Air coils are very similar to Kangers.

Good luck!

I got my GS Air today from fasttech and I'm amazed at how fast it got here. I didn't expect it until the end of next week.
This thing is a tootle puffers fog machine. I can't believe how much vapor comes out.

For the price I think I'll try one. My 20w(s) run a bit hot for me and these sound like they might be just the ticket for that. Easy fill, good fit on the bending adapter, all I need for an out and about vape. Sold.

Kim - I think the consensus now is the GS Air "M" is the way to go. Coils and basic shape are the same, BUT the airflow is easier to adjust on the newer "M" than on the original GS Air, which requires a screwdriver to set (and forget) the airflow to the amount you like. Either one is GREAT, the "M" is just .....greater! LOL.

If you link to images on your DB acct, how fast is it? Does it take a while for the images to load? The webhost I'm using, I selected because of their speed and the speed of their DB servers, but just for linking to images online, I probably don't really need that much speed.

Andria
I use IMGUR for any photo's but here is one linked from my DropBox. It looks like it will not put the image or preview here on ECF.

Thanks Mud. But I'd have to say NO tootling possible on a Hellboy! Even with the air shut off it chucks clouds of huge flavor even with a one second hit. Maybe I'll try a single coil in the Marquis. It doesn't seem to have as much airflow and adjusts down pretty low. The Hellboy atty makes juice taste good though :)

Do I get some kind of Tootle Puffer merit badge if I rewick a lowly Evod coil with KGD? (Waves at Robert and Sean!)

Looking at them right now at GotVapes, lol. I may go for the shorty, it'll look good on the 20w and I like the smaller tank, I only vape a couple of mls a day and the juice tends to thicken in a bigger tank on me, especially the sweeter juices.

Shorty's good! We have a few of those, too. Same easy airflow control! I think we got most of ours at Sweet Vapes, but have used GotVapes, as well. Both are excellent vendors.

Nanny, I saw some reports of leaks (M tanks), but I didn't have time to investigate--yet. Anything to it?

Wow a Hellboy and a Marquis, very nice!
The Marquis is a top contender for flavor, or the clone I tried was. I do want a Hellboy as I can imagine "she's a chuckin!"
