The lemo is not heavy..... The Pyrex is thinner then what you would find in most tanks. I imagine this would make them easier to break... So if accident prove investing in some replacement tanks would be a good idea :p
My buddy received his brand spanking new shiny Lemo, he was quite excited to try it out and he dropped the glass tank in the sink while cleaning it... He had to wait another 2 weeks for a 5 pack of replacement tanks before he could use it.

I felt bad for him...:pervy:  :pervy:

Katya, We do have one member who reported leaking from one of her tanks - not sure we figured out the cause. Some thought was due to a problem with the rubber grommet at the base of the coil, or the possibility of a high PG (thinner) juice, chainvaping and getting the juice warm and thin, lots of possibilities. No leaks in mine, however, I did find a single drop of juice sitting on the firing pin of my istick from 2 out of 6 tanks- but the tanks had been sitting for over a week (maybe more). No juice made it past sitting atop the pin, itself. I'm going to be more diligent about checking tanks that are not used as often. So far, so good.

I had no leaks from my MS, but that means nothing, of course.

I need to get back to the GS thread and read back... I'm hopelessly behind!

I almost did the same thing cleanin mine before I used it the first time. I like it coming all the way apart for cleaning but I'd like it better if it screwed into the cap. Good thing it has top fill and you don't have to take it apart except to change the wick or coil. I'm getting a buzz off of 3mg nic. :vapor:Where's my Lemo?

Well, grab a cup of something and a vape and head on over! There are only 6,000 posts in the thread! How long could that take??
Seriously, we mostly just have fun and as things pop up they get cussed and discussed. Good stuff!

Wow a Hellboy and a Marquis, very nice!
The Marquis is a top contender for flavor, or the clone I tried was. I do want a Hellboy as I can imagine "she's a chuckin!"
:toast:

Looking at them right now at GotVapes, lol. I may go for the shorty, it'll look good on the 20w and I like the smaller tank, I only vape a couple of mls a day and the juice tends to thicken in a bigger tank on me, especially the sweeter juices.

I bought several of the GS Air MS (shorty) tanks and love them best price I found online was from Sweet Vapes on the coils too, better then got vapes

not sure if we can post links but here Eleaf GS Air MS - Eleaf Tanks - Eleaf - Clearomizers Tanks if I don't get edited

Hi. Thank you! I like my old pro tank 2 on an ego style battery the most. It's simple and cheap.

Yup, very user friendly. I vaped with vv v3s and mini PTs and Mini Davides for the first year I started vaping, still use those clearos. Kanger coils were the first coil I learned to rebuild.:)

I dunno, I'm so completely satisfied with my kayfuns, I'm not terribly motivated to try other tanks. These iSticks would probably carry the weight of a pyrex tank a lot better than the taller tube mods do, so I might not find the weight so displeasing, but you know, if it ain't broke... ;)

If I was to suddenly develop a strong yen for some tank-cracker juice, I'm sure I'd feel quite differently about pyrex.

Andria
Hi, Andria, I've been reading this Tootle Puffer thread for the past four days-- it's like a novella!
I've been vaping since April 4, and am happy to say that I haven't smoked in those six weeks. I started off with the evod 2 starter kit, and quickly found I wanted something with a longer battery life. I got the Sigelei 30w with a nautilus mini tank and LOVE it so far. Now I find myself wanting to "vapocalize" myself for the just in case situations that could come in the future. It's so maddening that the freedom I've found is being challenged on so many fronts. I mean, I JUST got my first taste of the good life!! :(

I want to buy a tank to use with rebuildable coils that is SIMPLE. from what I've been reading, there are just so many options! As a loud and proud tootle puffer, I don't want/need to build subohm... Just something similar to what I get with my nauti. I keep it at about 8.3 watts currently and enjoy the taste and vapor tremendously.

You use a Kayfun.... But they are soooo pricey for me. Do you buy clones, and if so, where? The KF Lite is what caught my attention.

Anybody else, please feel free to express your thoughts and advice, too. A girl needs all the help she can get-- just remember, go easy on me, 'cause I'm clueless here! So wonderful to have this community and looking forward to being a part of it!

Kelly, welcome. I don't know about clones but I would recommend a Lemo II for flavor and adjustability to a tighter draw. Easy to build too. Less than a carton of cigs and it'll last you a while. :) I like it better than my Delta 2 and Kanger SubTank Mini. Go to Fast Tech for clones, I guess. Or check for close out sales from different vendors. With all the new stuff comin out, you should be able to find some good deals for around 20 bucks for a good RTA. You can also go across the hall :)

... not entirely certain what a "tootle puffer" is. Im assuming that its a vaper who refrains from chasing higher wattage and bigger clouds? If thats then case then i cant say that i fit the bill. I enjoy the thicker and bigger clouds. Maybe i enjoy the ego stroking that comes with the cloud chasing mentality?

Shrug.

I certainly dont discriminate. Vaping is vaping.

I do both. I'm not a cloud chaser, more of a flavor chaser. But I do get good flavor and a decent vape off the GS Airs. It depends on what I'm vapin and what mood I'm in I guess, but I do vape for flavor, 50/50 juices mostly. Just got a REO and a Hellboy today. :)

Hi Kelley. I'm not Andria,:) but I can answer a few questions from my own experience...

You can find great and inexpensive clones that work just as well as the originals. I got a Kayfun 4 Tobeco clone for 10 bucks shipped last week--of course, they sold out fast. But who knows, maybe they'll bring them back. You could send them an email.

Tobeco Kayfun 4 V4 RBA Rebuildable Atty

But it's not the easiest RTA and I wouldn't recommend it to a beginner. I suggest you look at a Lemo (either original, Drop or Lemo 2) or a Taifun clone from Fasttech that Bill recommended in another thread:

Eleaf Istick | Page 720 | E-Cigarette Forum

Read the above post and subsequent conversation on the subject.

Inexpensive and easy to build--a great introduction to RBAs. Good luck.
